The Home Office should do more. These foreign students are the ones funding the home students and the UK economy largely. The 2 years post study and the years spent in their expensive schools must count for the ILR.

No now. This is for post study work visa that is after you are done studying in the uk you can get the post study visa to stay back for 2years. And as someone who is already in the uk with their dependants you can all apply for the post study visa.
