I’m 61 and just had a TT and panniculectomy done in September, my insurance paid for the paninis removal and I decided that I was worth paying the extra for the TT I’m beyond pleased with the outcome. I haven’t felt this good about myself in a long time. The initial 2 weeks of recovery were the hardest, I work from home so I actually was able to return to work after those 2 weeks. Hi, I just had tummy tuck it’s been 8 days I start to get swollen a lot how long did your swollen take and after 6 weeks were you able to back to your rutine? Thank you soo much
@@naciyebasal1715 Swelling can last 9-12 months. I still have lower ab swelling that won't go away until the lymphatic system regenerates. Are you wearing a binder or faja? I went back to work at 6.5 weeks but didn't feel 100% normal until around 12 weeks. Hope that helps!
I took 6 weeks off then extend it to 8 weeks because of my job duties but you will need support from your family with getting in and out of bed for like week remember your stomach muscles are week but having a tummy tuck the 2”weeks you are going to be down But not in Pain … ladies you can do this . I love my results and blessed I was able to do it 👙

I'm 10 days post op my tummy tuc. I'm so happy that I finally got it done. I'm not in any major pain. I had the exparel shots with my surgery to numb the area for 72 hrs. I'm only dealing with swelling, itching and tightness in my stomach area. I went to Dr Kaufman in Miami. He's amazing!!
I just had a tummy tuck, second breast reduction, and double chin lipo, I’m so so happy with the results, I’m 52 yo, I look 10 years younger, my Dr preformed an amazing job, I didn’t have any pain whatsoever, just discomfort, I wish I would’ve known how easy this plastic surgery was. ❤❤
My tummy tuck procedure was Oct 4, 2021. If I had to do it all over again, I would. What bothered me the most were the drains. What makes me feel better are the lymphatic massages and my compression garments.
How is the scarring on dark skin? I really want one but scared the scar is gonna be so noticeable. I saw one on a white woman and her scar was very noticeable and deterred me for a while but I keep coming back to it 😩
@@amaniiexxchnge my scar is dark. It's not extremely dark, but it's not light. One side had me concerned because it would swell more towards the hip area to where I thought it was becoming a keloid. One year after the procedure and just 2 days ago I noticed it wasn't as "puffy or swollen" as it usually is when I wake up. I still do the massages on the lower stomach/scar-line and I use cream to hopefully lighten it up. The scar isn't noticeable because of how low it is.
My only concern is having a toddler I am so scared because she's attached I don't know how long I am not able to pick her up or even place her in a car seat please wish me luck

I had MMO in Izmir, Turkey on Wednesday 6th September and 1st few days are hell, but by next week im sure all will be OK as I'm walking and feeling less pain. Brilliant Dr Husnu Haci
I turned 50yrs in July and on 5/8/2023 is my first consultation. I have no children. I am excited about having my procedure done. This surgery will increase my chances of finding my life companion. I am ready!
I absolutely promise u can meet a life companion without this surgery. My husband fell in love with me after I had 2 children and a divorce from their dad. After he and I had our child together and I healed from that, I really wanted this for me, he said he loves me how I am but supports me having it done if it is for me. You find someone like that. Outside matters less as we get older.
I just had a tummy tuck 360 lipo and bbl procedure almost 3 weeks ago. The first week omg was hell for me with pain. 2nd week I started to get less pain and had more mobility. I love my shape from the front pics because I have wider hips now and a smaller waist. But from the side view there is still a lot of swelling. I got 7 daily linfatic massages 24hrs right after the surgery and tgose are no joke. They are really painful but when you are done, you feel much better, lighter and mor energetic. Now im getting 3 more massages once a week. Its tough but we just gotta be patient about the swelling going down.
This video was very helpful. I’m also in a plastic surgery group that help with questions and motivation.. I love it.. I hoping and praying to get a tummy tuck in the near future. I’m currently 50 years old.
This video offers some very important and detailed information. I wish I had come across this video before I had my procedure done. I am 26 days post-op from having had lipo and a tummy tuck. I was initially told I would need lipo and then a simple excess skin removal afterwards. The words tummy tuck were NEVER used in the description of what procedure I would be undergoing nor was it in my paper work documents, turns out that’s exactly what was performed. I know now that in order to achieve the look I want, I needed to have that. But my issue is, that my doctor and the nurses all down played and just out right minimized the invasiveness of my procedure just to get me to change my original surgery date from late May when I would have been off work til almost August with me being a teacher, til me doing it this past February instead. I was told I would only be down a week and then I could back to work and would feel just fine. They told me that it was best to do it now because I would not like having to wear fajas in the summer. That part I believe. But they should have been honest and told me that I would actually be having a tummy tuck first of all, and that I would need 6-8 weeks of recovery time for healing with this procedure. They were so afraid I guess that I would either not have the procedure at all, or that I would go elsewhere to have it done. Either way, all they cared about was getting another body on the table to get that money. I realize that now after the fact. And yes I had my procedure done right here in the states. I have been miserable at work and my doctor is now having to recommend a medical leave for me from work so that I can have more time to heal properly. I don’t regret the procedure necessarily, but I do regret the timing I choose and the fact that I went somewhere where a medical staff was not honest and transparent with me about all I needed to know and understand as a patient about my procedures. It has truly all lead me into almost a state of depression. My advice to anyone thinking about this procedure, please get all the facts and do as much research as possible before you have any elective surgery done. Not every medical professional is as honest as the surgeon in this video.
I think if they just remove excess skin, and do not tighten the muscle, which is more invasive, it is called a "skin only tummy tuck". So, it is still a tummy tuck.
Wow how devastating that is for them to engage in that manner. I am 8 weeks post opt and this healing journey is no joke. I wish u the best and u won't be sorry. But they are indeed sorry! Be well.
Hello, I have has a tummy tuck. I will say that it is not a weight loss surgery. It’s very painful, and you will gain weight back through your recovery. You will not be comfortable without your body corset and will have numbness alongside your incision and some in the middle permanently. Make sure you really really watch it on food because you can gain it all back like I did. I do not recommend this surgery if you don’t really need it!
thank you for your honest comment, may i ask wht is your purpose doing tummy tuck? i lost about 20 kg ,, and my skin in tummy is really saggy, do u think in my case is worth?
Has a full tummy tuck April 21.2021. Best investment I ever made it cost me 8-thousand and change. And yes I did my in the States .. Boston Medical Center. I feel and look amazing 🖤… my scar looks amazing also I been using cocoa butter every day . I can’t wait to wear all 15’2 pc bathing suit 👙… 50’black female… If your thinking about it DO IT…ladies it feels so good to wear anything and don’t have to feel uncomfortable with your midsection…my tummy is in flat… I still work out and wear my waist trainer and faji because you will still have swelling from salty food and liquor…lol but if you continue to compress your results will be fabulous…. Good luck on your new journey 🖤
Appreciate all this info. I have learned alot. Now I just to get brave enough to do it. I have a C section scar. So the scar doesn't bother me. You look fabulous
I used to be obese (66 pounds overweight), lost those pounds through diet and exercise, but I was left with excess skin around my belly and inner thighs. 19 days ago I underwent plastic surgery. It was a tummy tuck + liposuction of the upper body and liposuction of the inner thighs + thigh lift. The first 10 days post-op were the hardest. After that it gets a bit easier with the day. I'm happy that I did the surgery. Next summer will be mine!
I had my amazing tummy tuck by Dr. Huettner in 2019. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! Dr. Huettner's beauty transcends throughout her practice. She is Amazing!!!
I hate that babys ruin your body , beautiful bellys and others parts of the body it sucks for us women its no fair. Like i still wanna look hot when i become a mom. 😢
Same here I had my surgery June 27, 2022 I was 44 years old when I got it done. I have four kids it was my time and I’m glad I did it I just turned 45 on August 1
It's been 9 days post op from tt. The first 3 days were so uncomfortable. My back began hurting after about 1 min of walking hunched over. I barely left the electric reclined that i rented. I was also constipated due to the painkillers. I took a laxative which gave me stomach cramps. I can tell you, the pain was excruciating. I began feeling nauseous and vomitted, that's when I thought i had ruptured the repaired muscles. I held a rolled uo towel tightly against my abdomen to support it. Luckily my dr emailed a script to the chemist for an anti nausea medicine. I had family pick it up, and for that i am so grateful. I passed out after it began working. Tbh i couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. After day 4 I still couldn't shower without help, but could walk a little further. The drama with the laxatives caused more bruising in the middle of my abdomen and i was so swollen, especially near the incision. Fr about day 6 my healing really sped up. Today, at day 9 i cooked, washed the dishes, and showered myself without having to take many breaks. I'm slowly standing more upright veryday, and at this rate i think i'll be standing straight in about 3 days. Even through the painful experience that it's so worth it. I'm really looking forward to seeing the full results after I've fully healed.
I had a Tummy Tuck with 360-Lipo and BBL 11 days ago. The recovery is no joke. I've cried daily due to swelling, gas, and pain. You definitely need a support system. My support system is small, and my recovery has been hard to deal with alone. I hope I can look back on this a year from now and say I made the right decision. Right now, I'm not feeling so great about having the surgery.
Hey how are you miss Khadijah ,how was your surgery was it successful ? I hope you feel well, trust me if you did the surgery with a good surgeon with great tools ,you will love the outcome. It will take some time but I think it is worth it
I'm hanging in there. I"m getting better. I'm finally in a Stage I Faja. I put it on for the first time last night, and it was the easiest night to sleep. The faja is tight as hell though. I can't tolerate the binder much anymore, but I think I will rock the binder during the day and the faja at night. I also finally get my first lymphatic massage tomorrow. I'm hoping that it will bring me some relief of swelling. Thanks for checking in.
I'm one week post op.... I've lost 130lb and got an extended tummy tuck with liposuction... Everything is super swollen and bruised, but I'm super excited for the results to start showing during the next 6 months to a year!!
My mother recently had her surgery (in our state) and everything the surgeon talked about is true....even though she's still recovering she sees a difference and so do I....
Omg she is me I workout 3-5 times a week pretty intensely and my belly won’t budge after 2 kids a bed c -section I can’t even feel my abs. She looks amazing at 50 her face is beautiful flawless I hope she finds what’s she is looking for. I am 42 and hoping to have my mommy makeover in March 2023. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Me three😜I had a cesarean 23 years ago, a hysterectomy 2 years ago, my skin was hanging awful, I eat right, walk, play basketball, lifting light weights, still I can’t lose my belly fat.
Helpful Information! I had 6 consultation in Dallas Texas area non-invasive and invasive different viewpoints but I found some doctors in Austin that I search their work makes you look like a “Doll” and just beautiful results! Im contacting the office this week I’m a liposuction candidate indeed from what I’ve been told!
I gave birth to an 11 lb 13 oz baby 24 years ago. I love my kid but not the stomach I was left with, lol! I'm 56 and still think about the procedure because I really do not like how it looks or how clothes fit. I really regret not doing it sooner because I'm probably at a higher risk for complications now that I'm older.
I can concur with not having aggressive liposuction. I am 6 mths post op now and I doubt much will change in the next 6 months. I still have upper belly fat for sure and I have loose skin on my stomach and lower back. I had 360 Lipo with arm liposuction with Sonobello. If you have significant fat you need removed this is not the place to go, periodt! Also because they only give local anesthesia if you have a high tolerance to drugs they won’t be able to numb you enough to even do aggressive liposuction, this is what happened to me!
I will have to get more lipo and a tummy tuck to get the results a really want. Imm researching drainless tummy tucks and some doctors that specialize in doing those.

I had a tummy tuck January 15th 2021 and Im still swollen after a year I still have numbness around my bellybutton I’m still not 100% I still feel a pull inside we are all different and heal differently do I look good sure I don’t have my ugly mom belly of 4 it’s what I wanted but it’s not as easy as they tell you it is I’m still wearing compression garments (faja) with a board I’m not happy with how they don’t tell you the truth about this surgery. It takes a full year to recover and you may still be swollen after that. Keep in mind you will need lots of help. My husband helped me out a lot and my oldest child (13) she helped me sweep and mop since you can’t do a lot of things for a while. Would I do it again I’m not sure. And I also had chin lipo and arms at the same time I would definitely recommend lipo it’s a much more faster down time.
I agree I had a tummy tuck in 2021 and I still get minor swelling and I still have a lot of stretch marks because I was already tiny just had wrinkly skin especially around my belly button so there wasnt enough skin to pull down to get rid of all the stretch marks. So after all that money I still have stretch marks but my muscles are tighter and my belly button is better. You cant go into this surgery looking for perfection we will never have our old body back. I have to keep reminding myself that but it does look better.
I had a tummy tuck 8 months ago. I just uploaded it when I woke up after surgery.. Man fo I look pale as hell. A tummy tuck doesn't hurt well not for me. The recovery part is what sucks.
I want one but I’m afraid of the surgery. I’m 43 yrs. Of age healthy still would love a mommy makeover but the fear pulls me back from getting done any advise from a person my age and with the procedure done already?
I've pushed out an almost 11 lbs baby, I STILL don't like pain, lol. BUT, I sure wish I had the money to do this surgery. I've lost 121 lbs, hate the extra skin.
Yes I had a tummy tuck the only iusse on my front incion I caught an infection had to get more antibiotics and a cream so I'm just hoping the scared look better any suggestions why it happen I'll be 1 months 07/12/2023
I have had a tummy tuck and i look terrible. My upper stomach is very high while my lower stomach is semi flat. I had my TT 01/22 and my belly button still leaks blood. I don’t regret doing the procedure it’s just that I chose the wrong surgeon.
Beware of tummy tucks. I’ve had several procedures that went well but I really regret this one. Never never put on a pound of weight after one. I put on two stone after menopause- I just couldn’t help it - I got a vertical hernia and a big build up of scar tissue around the new navel- tummy usually tends to bulge below the navel mine now bulges only on the right hand side just above the navel. Ive now lost all the weight I put on and now I’m thin but it’s even more noticeable now. When I eat anything it bulges hugely - no shape wear disguises it - it looks absolutely weird! It has ruined my life - I can’t wear anything except baggy dresses and I can’t get it fixed on health insurance. It seems I can only get the scar tissue removed by a cosmetic surgeon and go through the whole horrible expensive operation again
I'm 5 day post op I'm going mad I'm 50 I'm happy but I'm panicking it's numb feels swollen so much I'm scared. Please me I'm had compression for two days and it feels so weird now I feel it's good but long recovery very I'm in Bangkok and I need go home in 7 days on plane I'm feeling anxious so bad right now.
Is there a loss of sensation anywhere in the long term? Can you still feel your vagina and organs after this? I had a breast reduction surgery in 2018, only 20% of my sensation was restored it is a bad feeling. It is my only fear with getting a tummy tuck.
First off your beautiful even before ! But myself I know how it is to carry that extra weight around and no way in hell your 50 lol . I just need some advice for anyone who has done this with children !? I have a toddler and I am truly Nervous , my baby is very attached obviously I don't know how long I can't pick her up or even put her in a car seat . The first month I'll be in Brazil with my mothers help . I hope that helps a lot . Wish me luck ladies I am so nervous about my toddler
I called a doctor for consultation and I was told I have to have BMI of 32 or less. If I can lose this weight on my own, why should I bother with subjecting myself to this procedure.
Hi! This procedure is not meant as a weight loss procedure. I weigh between 140-145 pounds and had the procedure because of the extra skin gained over the years remained with exercise and healthy eating. I was less than 135lbs before having my 1st child, my skin stretched on my abdomen so much after having 2 children. I couldn't do anything to remove the extra skin other than surgery. Wishing you the best on your journey🙂!
Because Diet and exercise alone does not remove lower Belly fat. I’m a witness after a huge weightloss. Your doctor is recommending a BMI of 32 for your health. There are other doctors who may do a TT with a higher BMI but higher risk are associated with a higher BMI. Do what works for you Depending on your weight/ you maybe eligible for VSG weightloss surgery. This surgery isn’t for weightloss.
Depends on your recovery status and abilities as to when but yes eventually you would be able to do yoga you once were able to do. Your arms and legs are more dependent on poses.

I'm going to Methodist to get mine's done on February 20th I can wait
Dr. Kaufman is who I am scheduled with as well. Glad to hear good things about him.
Any updates ? @alainatheriot4416
Sounds like you had a really great outcome and experience! Did you get it done in the UK?
My tummy tuck procedure was Oct 4, 2021. If I had to do it all over again, I would. What bothered me the most were the drains. What makes me feel better are the lymphatic massages and my compression garments.
How is the scarring on dark skin? I really want one but scared the scar is gonna be so noticeable. I saw one on a white woman and her scar was very noticeable and deterred me for a while but I keep coming back to it 😩
I agree, the drains were the worst in every way possible!
@@MizzInsatiable why were your drains so bad??? I have had 3 C - sections. I'm doing research right now. Honestly I wd love to have a tummy tuck. I heard the recovery is harder then C- sections.

I had MMO in Izmir, Turkey on Wednesday 6th September and 1st few days are hell, but by next week im sure all will be OK as I'm walking and feeling less pain. Brilliant Dr Husnu Haci
She is me and I love her honesty about her weight and how she sees herself.
I turned 50yrs in July and on 5/8/2023 is my first consultation. I have no children. I am excited about having my procedure done. This surgery will increase my chances of finding my life companion. I am ready!
Good luck!
I hope you are not having this procedure for that reason. You still might not meet him. Straight men are scarce, now. Good luck with everything.
All these positive and honest comments enlightens me to know I’ll love my results too!! Thanks YT family ❤❤
Hi I want to get both at the same time as well,so how does one sleep after having both operations.
Thanks for sharing the details. It really helps
Wow you did it all in one shot you are brave I did my bbl lipo 360 first then 3 year after I did my tummy

She’s GORGEOUS!!!!!❤ With that positive attitude she’s definitely a good candidate for a TT
It's a personal choice. I think if someone wants one and can afford it they should get one.
How much was oyb
That is a lawsuit ma'am. That's a battery. You did not give informed consent. Get at attorney and send a demand letter and/or file suit.
Be well.
I am needing to know what would the physician say will be oldest age of a person considering a TT?
um, what? She's 50? wowwwww!! Gorgeoussss!
@@keinor4467skin resection is a great reason for a tummy tuck bc you can't exercise excess skin away.

@@uchok3051 it was ok as long as I did as I was told to do with medication 💊 and stuff I had no complaints

My baby was 11 lbs and 24 inches . My stomach is really bad
I had a tummy tuck I really wish I did aggressive liposuction my belly I don't like my scar I had my surgery in NY

It can take up to year to get swelling to go down. My dr at my consult told me that.
Thank you
I have considered the lipo over the tummy tuck

Please where are you people located,I won't to come there and do my own but I stay at Odorkor official Town
50!?! Where?! She’s stunning
Beware of tummy tucks. I’ve had several procedures that went well but I really regret this one. Never never put on a pound of weight after one. I put on two stone after menopause- I just couldn’t help it - I got a vertical hernia and a big build up of scar tissue around the new navel- tummy usually tends to bulge below the navel mine now bulges only on the right hand side just above the
navel.

Good luck in your weight loss. I recommend you to drink a 500ml bottle of water 6 times a day.
Because Diet and exercise alone does not remove lower Belly fat. I’m a witness after a huge weightloss.
Your doctor is recommending a BMI of 32 for your health. There are other doctors who may do a TT with a higher BMI but higher risk are associated with a higher BMI. Do what works for you
Depending on your weight/ you maybe eligible for VSG weightloss surgery. This surgery isn’t for weightloss.
