Tonight, I would like to have an honest heart to heart with you as I open up about why I took a four week hiatus from UA-cam. I also hope that through my words and rambles, I can help comfort anybody else who is going through a breakup or having relationship troubles.

Breakups do suck. I had a pretty bad one in October and it ended super suddenly. I've healed a lot since then, but it was rough. By the time the divorce was finalized I was a lot happier. I'm now the happiest I've ever been. I'm glad you have a positive outlook on it. You're wonderful.

A saying comes to mind: “Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans for it.” I can relate to that feeling where, one minute everything looks and feels normal. Then, in a blink of an eye, everything comes unravelled.
I don’t usually comment but I’ve dealt with a nasty breakup before so I know how much needed support is. You’re not alone and it’ll get so much easier, I promise. Just be patient with yourself and try to not expect healing to be linear.

I just have to say that even through a breakup you still got out of bed did your makeup and made a video talking about it that took a lot of courage and strength. you could have easily posted a message and said I needed a break but you didn’t. I also had a breakup not that long ago, so damn I know how you must feel right now. You have my respect that you had the strenght to make such a relaxing and awesome video even though the "reason" behind it is really sad and not easy at all.

Break ups do suck, you’re exactly right about that. I remember going through a break up a few years ago that was unexpected and it just knocks you completely off. However, I have to say that for you to go through all of that and not getting the property you were waiting so long for and still making a video. You deserve a ton of respect for that. It’s so easy to worry about what will happen in the future, but just take it one step at a time, take a deep breath and try to stay positive and everything will be easier. You are amazing and you deserve the best.

Breakups are rough. I remember for about six months after my first breakup, I absolutely was a different person. They really are terrible. But then a switch flipped one day and I decided I didn’t want to feel horrible anymore.

Hey Shortie! I hope you’re feeling alright as of the typing of this comment. From personal experience, break ups are never easy. I’ve taken them pretty hard and have kept me in a state of constant misery. But it took me a long time to realize that things really do get better afterwards. They really do! It just works in ways we don’t fully notice. It also helps to listen to comforting words from friends, family, and videos like these (shoot, I definitely have watched *your* videos during times of heartbreak so thank you for that 🙏). I’m glad you were able to keep it on good terms with the fella. Seven years is a long time but you’ll be alright! That goes for anyone reading this!

Breakups are really tough. I'm "glad" that yours ended on good terms at least. I've had a bad breakup when I was 15. Honestly, I didn't know what I wanted back then, ended up being in a toxic relationship, so the fact that it ended after some months isn't that surprising for me by now, but it was really devastating for me at that time.
Thank you for opening up even though you didn't have to. I hope you take enough time to heal. But if you need help, we're here for you. You're helping us all the time, so I'm more than happy to give it back ❤️

Wow! I’ve been kind of going on a bender watching your videos the last few days because, well, there is something very genuine about you that is just filling a gap I need right now. It’s like sitting in a library with a great friend, chatting about life, and enjoying their warmth, kindness, and extremely expressive hand gestures. After going through a few of your posts, I felt compelled to send you a little Christmas something, something because your vids are so comforting to me . . . you are like the human embodiment of the Sarah McLachlan song “Arms of an Angel.”
Anyway, this particular post of yours struck me because it demonstrates what a warm and genuine human being you are. I’m sorry life took an unexpected detour for you, I’m glad you’ve shown hopeful resilience to buoy you through the storm, and I’m pleased to learn that you find as much comfort from your conversations with us viewers and as you give to us . . . or, speaking for myself, to me.

I’m going through a divorce, although it is though and lonesome, painful and full of sadness, you are absolutely right, it is better to do something about it, not afraid of change but excited about leaving what once was going nowhere and find your happiness discovering that the relationship became very distant, I believe loneliness includes some painful portion of the process, it derives sadness and a broken sentiment which induces a higher level of melancholic distance inebriated in all directions, it is a passage that it must be traveled to understand one’s failures and mistakes to renew ourselves into somebody who we always wanted to be but never reached. Sorry I got carried away with my feelings, something I never do but you seem to be the right person to talk during these times.

New to ur community. Life is strange. Everything can't be explained. Totally understand that feeling. I myself was in a 5 yr relationship many moons ago in my 20s. I am much older now. You got this. She got married yrs later. Me not so much. I'm still single but music has been my savior and I am fine. But yeah all kinds of emotions come crashing down on you after a breakup. Can't say it didn't affect me but you will survive and this will make you stronger and it will give you a chance to reflect on a better you. Breakups are indeed hard, but sometimes open up possibilities one wouldn't have had previously. Crank some Phil Collins and let the emotions do their cleansing. I always relied on "Against All Odds" and "I Wish It Would Rain Down"...that last one at full volume of course. Be well and healthy healing! We all appreciate what you do for us, and you sharing bits of your personal life means a lot!
