Simply put.. yes, it is. Not only is it still Toyota's best vehicle to date, but it's also still the best large sedan, forgotten car, mainstream sedan, and luxury car alternative I can ever think of. Basically a family-friendly luxury car at an affordable price tag. It's drop-dead stylish, it's plenty luxurious with amazing quality and fit-and-finish throughout, it's super comfortable with a very family-friendly environment, has slick yet fuel efficient powertrains, it's easy-to-live with, it's refined basically everywhere, it's tech-filled with being a flawless bang for your buck, likely to be very reliable with excellent residual and resale values (knowing Toyota), it's wonderful to drive as it strikes a superb balance between a smooth ride and nimble dynamics even for a large sedan, and is overall just amazing. In fact, almost perfect. In the end, you’d need some really serious arguments to convince me not to purchase this new Avalon. It's a near-perfect sedan, and what I want to see from Toyota. The only real improvement that it needs is the inclusion of Android Auto, but nonetheless, it's brilliant. And with SUVs and Crossovers flooding the sales chart lately, but meanwhile with this all-new Avalon coming along..... who needs an SUV again? ...I'd like a fully-loaded 2019 Avalon Touring please. :) *FINAL RATING:* 9.5/10 = Outstanding/Perfect *MY TOP-RECOMMENDED FULL-SIZE SEDAN FOR 2019*
I'll definitely get a Hybrid Avalon in the future to replace my Camry 2008 because it gets clunky in the highways when i drive at 120 km/h and more. and also most of the times it consumes more fuel than average and i really started to hate it.
Thank you, werbrown. While we haven't tested the ES in a year or two, we can definitely say the Avalon has upped its game. We appreciate your comments and thanks for watching!
I’d still go with the ES. My opinion. I own two ESs lol. An 06 ES330, and an 07 ES350. Of course there older and a lot cheaper but I love them. I like the Avalon a lot too
It's been a few years since we reviewed a Lexus ES, but if we remember correctly, the Avalon is now a little sportier than the ES, Shujayet Hossain. Both drive well, but the ES is still more comfort-focused while the Avalon is now a bit sportier. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
There are rear vents for the climate control, but there is no third zone control for the temperature - 3:28. Hope this helps, Nightbird, and thanks for watching!
@@AutoAcademics Thanks for the confirmation! That rear temp control is important for my family. I can't believe they excluded it when it was standard on the Limited trim of the last Avalon. Stay well my friend!
@@AutoAcademics One more question please, Chris. I'm trying to find the softest riding Japanese car (for reliability) with the latest safety features like Pre-Collision. I grew up with Lincoln's so I'm spoiled for a soft ride. Do you think the Avalon Limited is the softest riding moderately priced car out there with the latest safety features and Japanese dependability? Or would you recommend something else? Thanks again!
@@Nightbird. This is a bit of challenge, since many manufacturers are focusing on driving dynamics now and I haven't driven anything recently that has a ride similar to the old school Lincolns. Those were like riding on clouds and marshmallows. While the Avalon isn't as cushy as it used to be, it's a great-driving car that is still smooth and comfortable. The only Japanese car I can think of that might be softer is the Lexus ES, but then you have the price premium to deal with. Genesis makes some wonderful cars, too. They're S. Korean, but have really good warranties to help relieve any reliability concerns. They, too, would command a bit of a price premium, though, and the Hyundai/Kia alternatives might be a bit too sporty. Finally, the Honda Accord is not quite as sporty as the Camry now, so that might meet your needs. Try to drive any car that you have interest in. You might be surprised by the experience. Sorry I couldn't help more, but it's good to know there are plenty of choices out there.
Toyota Avalon used to be the ugliest thing ever. It had wheels too big for its body or vice versa, and had kind of a humpback. Thankfully that ugly duckling turned into a swan about a decade or so ago. That grill, though...
That kind of mileage in a luxury car would have been science fiction a decade ago.
Exactly!
honestly....i really enjoy your channel

Ha! So why don't you tell us how you truly feel about the Avalon, I'mJustFarhan? LOL We appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching!
Nice interior!!
Great review bro 👍🏽
Thank you, MoNo K!
Great video- very informative!

I love the Avalon! I wish Toyota would make a Avalon coupe, call it the solara , even though solara was a Camry coupe
This new Avalon is really nice, DIAMLER. We appreciate you watching!
Great video. Great review. Much Thanks!
I've seen the new Camry out with the different grills and in person, its a nice looking car .
It is. Have you seen our review on the new Came yet? If not, here you go wayne h. - ua-cam.com/video/EWPVYaFCFQE/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!
can i change XSE grad front and tail light to Limited or Touring grad
Very nice review. I’m torn between 45k for this car or a used Lexus ES.
Thank you, werbrown. While we haven't tested the ES in a year or two, we can definitely say the Avalon has upped its game. We appreciate your comments and thanks for watching!
But the ES is about as comparably-sized to the Camry, so..
I’d still go with the ES. My opinion. I own two ESs lol. An 06 ES330, and an 07 ES350. Of course there older and a lot cheaper but I love them. I like the Avalon a lot too
Is the ride for comfortable than a Lexus ES300h?

Very little information was provided on the navigation system, but thanks for the video.
I am considering buying this car. Thanks for the info. And your right......those tweeters are lame
Good luck on your purchase, David Long, and thanks for watching!
Chris -Can you please confirm if the rear passengers still have their own climate control like on the previous Avalon Limited? Thanks!

No problem. For all we know, they brought it back for 2020. 😅 That happens quite often to keep things fresh. Thanks, again, for watching!

can it park itself ?
Put that thing on sport mode and you get your power, it flies and you don't even feel it.
It looks exactly like a longer wheel base ES 350. I would get it and save my money on the Lexus.
It's a sweet car, bbrownasu. Very impressed. We appreciate you watching!
I still like the Toyota Avolon XLS body style better
Umm nah. There's no getting used to that ridiculous grill. I've seen it fit a few years and it just looks worst

Yeah, the grille can still be a bit controversial, but the rest of the car is really nice, Iris Gross. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for watching!
Toyota Avolon XLS still the best body style
