- We all know that Aventus is the King, but who's next in line?
I would proposed that it's ORMONDE MAN by ORMONDE JAYNE. This is an incredible find and a fragrance that no matter who I show, they too appreciate and enjoy.
For me this is an amazing masculine bright conifer woods style fragrance. It's an easy wear fragrance that plays wonderfully all year long.
Since introducing Ormande Man to my collection, I've gone out and explored the other amazing fragrances' in Linda Pilkington's line up of Ormonde Jayne fragrances.
I deeply love niche perfumes and find that they are unique and incredibly diverse. I am Marcelo and I'm the Niche Fragrance Collector.

Ormonde Jayne is a criminally underrated house. Ormonde Man, Nawab of Oudh and Montabaco are stunning fragrances. Montabaco smells like no other tobacco I've smelled
I have to agree with you that this House is criminally underrated. They have some really impressive and unique fragrance's (and yes, love all the ones that you mentioned).

How does this compare to Gentle Fluidity Silver? I do like GFS but it's a little too much for my nose.@@TheNicheFragranceCollector
Yet another new one for me, thanks Marcelo. "Favorite" or "number one" of anything is very subjective. Like a favorite movie, book or piece of music. Changes like the weather. And to be honest, I'm glad you haven't gone the lazy top ten frags for whatever occasion route. Too many reviewers do that, I get it, but moving forward with new things is the way to go. The "best" artists out there always chase a moving finish line.

It’s funny I actually talk about this very thing on the upcoming Maté Talk. One of the subscribers (Max) absolutely loves a particular leather Fragrance (it is one completely wild ride of a perfume). Not for me😣
I always like to put forward fragrances that I enjoy and then I like to categorize them from “if you’re new to Niche” all the way into “if you are knee-deep in Niche”…. Then you choose🤗

Ormonde Jayne sounds like a solid house. I need to test some of their fragrances.

Have you tried Ormonde Woman, as well? I think it is fully unisex and sooooo gorgeous. So very enchanting and mysterious. ✨
So exciting to know that you're testing out the Ormonde Jayne collection...these guys are exceptional. I have tried Ormonde Woman and it's gorgeous. It has the same Hemlock note but now with more florals to support the structure of the fragrance....the Woman and Man go together so beautifully as companion fragrances♥️

I don’t know what comes off my skin almost like a rose but not quite. It’s hard to describe, but this is one of my favorite work fragrances because it doesn’t push too hard but the sillage and longevity is great.
Definitely need to add this to my list 😁🤦🏾♂️😎

Is impossible to love one and one only. I reach out to my favourites depending on the occasion. It does not make any sense to wear Mandarino di Amalfi to a funeral mid winter where the snow is up to ur knees, right?

I love Beufort London, the thing is these guys and now Niche of Niche. And if I talk about them on the channel I’m gonna lose everybody😂. I own Lignum vitae and Coeur de Noir…. Both totally awesome and both totally unique. And you Ricardo, which ones do you love?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Hola Marcelo! I love Beaufort London as well, they are "horribly beautiful". I have the whole collection being "Vi et Armis" and Tonnerre the most challenging to wear. The easiest ones, if you can call it easy, I would say "Lignum Vitae", "Terror and Magnificence" and "Iron Duke".

Awesome choice 'Jack Burton'...the short answer to your question is 'no'....I agree with everything that you just shared on how awesome Ormonde Man is.
I'm yet to try out Montabacco but can attest that Xi'an is magic (I would also recommend Zizan...awesome dry woods/aromatic fragrance)

Marcelo, respectfully disagree :). Aventus is a designer by now! I own Hacivat, much richer and also have Mauboussin Discovery, lesser own brand Mauboussin, but close to Aventus!
