Regular citizens deserve the right to have safe streets to walk down. Put repeat offenders of any age into jail. Find the adults that affect these kids and throw the book at them. Oakland has a gang problem that needs to be rooted out.

I am sick of these politicians saying "housing issues" when a lot of these people are not even from San Francisco or Oakland. A lot of them also do not want to go into housing because of all the rules they need to follow. This is a mental health, drug and law enforcement problem, not an affordable housing problem.

I've made shelters with Google amazon etc and I e been in the army and national guard and city county state dorms and shelter and not relying on government funding is always best. Nit seeking handouts or tax payers money and making a real go at the row is way better. Amazon and Google had shelters and housing for anyone hired but the bay area confiscated them and the United States supreme court has ruled against California and the sobrato group doing these things against Google and amazon.
