@@mutoneondid you think it was that bad? I think people sometimes expect it to sound exactly like the original i personally like when bands offer their own touch on stuff i thought it was great to hear the song diff tempo more energy like was it thr dead no. Was it a bad performance hell no. An was it an eveb better like epic moment in history of this scene YES
I was in the last set of seats up at the top against the wall, and Trey’s heavy solo here had me feeling like I was on the fucking gravitron. An insane show. (My first phish show was this epic one.)
I saw my first show 8-8-93. They've come a long way and yet they haven't changed a bit. PHiSH ... even dawned the "groomsman" cake in my wedding and Bouncing Round the Room was the first song played. I STILL can't get enough. I could have grandkids going to shows. Yeah, I just dated myself. Hope all you kids enjoy!! I sure have.
Since 8-8-93. Have seen a lot and learned a lot about different music than I already had exposure to. Been a real ride. Went Phlorida Y2K Exile on Main Street - just a few highlights. Been wild.
That minor key man thay so funny you say that it’s what I said after being blown away at creek monsters became one of my favs after that im absolutely in love with this song! Treys vocals fit ssooo well
@@JeremyMathsen Ohh Yeah Buddy! Trey's vocals at the end were insane to hear live. He really tried to hit those high notes and succeeded! Glad you enjoyed the show.
This song is a monster in my head. I love it so much. I strained my vocal cords singing along to the final chorus and have laryngitis. I don’t know how Trey does it but goosebumps every time
You gotta post that box of rain to be watched for the ages to come.
You're confusing a meaningful and touching moment with a good performance.
@@mutoneon It’s a phish moment that should be archived on this UA-cam channel forever.

Absolute banger. Perfect version and a great spot late second set. One of my favorite phish songs in a while.
Solo is giving me Pink Floyd vibes
Had the same thought. Felt like I was listening to Gilmour there for a few minutes.

Trey channeling David Gilmour starting around 3:30.
My exact first thought. The bend
This song really let Trey show off those vocals. Noticed it when I saw them at Great Woods, as well. This song doesn't miss!
Literally just responded and talking with my buddy about this
That's what's up.
Hot dang, that was a scorcher!
