My Trailcam is getting an average of 300 triggers a night on the edge of Trailcam Wood... badgers and foxes galore. Gone over to rechargeables as was costing me a fortune. Hi Sandy, I'm pleased they sent you the new one, it is a really good tent. They have listened to true campers and adapted it well. They are producing quality gear at good prices, hope that remains so. An interesting way of marketing too. Great shots of the Roe Deer, interesting hearing the young calling, I have a deer caller that makes the exact same noise, it does attract the doe deer. Thanks for sharing, Steve.
I remember the Firebox V Gasifier video recently and after reading the comments, I cut some Thumb size, pencil size and pencil led size wood yesterday and stood it up on end (as suggested in the comments). I used Hard Wood for this test and was able to boil 2 cans of 500 ml (tea and soup) with this one fire using the Wood Gasifier Stove! I will always stand the wood up in these types of stove - fantastic. Absolutely love the trail cam!! Some many new Families walking through.
The gasifier is a great stove Dan and I have no doubt it's upto the task given the quality of fuel is good. I do like mine but find the firebox stove just a bit better especially in the winter when the fuel can be damp and smoky
@@WiltshireMan Yep agree, I have both also and if I am going out for an overnighter, I bring the firebox - I was just shocked when I put the fuel on end instead of laying it down and it burned much longer.

You have been through the wringer a bit the past couple of months so I think your gifts were well deserved. Loved seeing the films from the trail cam, those deer were amazing, especially the youngsters. Took my bike out a couple of days back and stopped on top of a hill for a brew and a sit on my camp stool - did me the power of good, nature is a great healer in these difficult times. Stay well, your films are very much appreciated here.

Really nice footage at the end Sandy, seeing the squirrel made me laugh, I had one on my doorstep this morning & couldn't take stuff out to the recycle bin in case I startled it. I was telling someone about it this morning and, being dyslexic, I was unsure how to spell squirrel so I asked Alexa "how many R's are there in squirrel", her response was "Hours and squirrels are not compatable units". So now we reckon there are two hours in a squirrel. 😁 ATB Adam.

Thanks for the video, great trail cam footage. The one tigris stove is a similar design to my Lixada folding stove only a bit bigger, I also have the bushbox which is great.

Love the trail cam footage. Good to see such a verity of healthy woodland creatures. In closing just a bit of friendly advice from one woodsman to another. Great looking fat wood . I imagine you could have started several fires with it , the turpentine flavor might have come from fat wood smoke. Be well and blessed .until next 👍time.
Well another great evening! Had a little adventure up to the state of Vermont today, came back to find 6m wide open, so worked some cw there, then found this video! so got to watch another great adventure with you Sandy, excellent trail cam shots Doe with her two fawns was nice, love the shots of the male pheasant also. and the archery shots brought back memories of the long box that's all I used to hunt with. 62lb is quite a bow to pull Ellis. Over here in the UK hunting with bow is not permitted. I've been on 80 recently, no decent antenna up for 6M here just now
Great video sandy, I used a friends version 1 last year with tent poles and that was at a couple of campsites and it worked great so if you don't do any woodland camps its good to know it will work on ordinary camping.

Hi Sandy. I think the blank plate should be put in the bottom slot and then it acts as the ash pan when using wood and stops hot ash dropping directly on the ground. As you say though you can use the blank as well at the higher level as somewhere to put an alcohol stove. Stay safe and keep up the videos.

The only thing that was missing was an overnight sleep in the woods. We are still not allowed to camp here because of the lockdown!
