WESTERN BROOK GORGE SNOWMOBILE TRIP, GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK, NEWFOUNDLAND LABRADOR

GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK, NEWFOUNDLAND LABRADOR, IS THE ONLY NATIONAL PARK IN CANADA WHICH ALLOWS PEOPLE TO ACCESS THE BACK COUNTRY ON SNOWMOBILES. This video will give viewers an idea of what is involved in getting to this spectacular inland gorge. The hash weather is always an issue and this was my third attempt to see it for myself.

Lots of farmiliar teritory there. Not the best day but, could have been worse for sure. The best trip we had was half way out the gorge down across the big level where you are not supposed to be. I guess we got lucky that day. We were looking over to 2000ft down. Great memories for sure. One of NL's greatest places for sure.

Fantastic - congrats! Roughly how long did it take to get there that day? Did you continue north or south from there?

It took us about 3 hours to get there from Cormack. We returned the same way we went in.
