But… is there a minimum for a side hustle ( two years from retirement so don’t want a full time gig).. but in order for “business “ purposes ..I already advise aka-“train” a couple of people local.. but would like to write off my equipment/my home gym..And justify expanding my “clients” really just people who want
To be where im at..Diet,size wise..

dude if you have 17 inch arms 45 inch+ chest, 32 inch waste or thinner, 24-30 inch quads, 12% body fat, don't take steroids and have a firm grasp on nutrition and muscle recovery....... unless u are genetically gifted...... this is ur certification and the only one that really matters. u can indulge in all the theory u want and learn every process of the human body down to the level of a chemist..... but if ur arms look like spaghetti and ur chest, a** delts , obliques, traps quads and hamstrings are non existent..... well.... hate to break it to u but ur better off learning to train b4 u go give advice to anyone. like why would u go give advice to anyone when u don't know how to lift yourself. This is a problem in the industry. most "trainers" just took a course and put on a uniform and voila they are "certified trainers"
and thats how u get a situation where the blind lead the blind. fantastic... you pay, you don't improve so u keep paying. works out well for the gyms. not so much for the trainer or trainee. If I pay you to train me u better have, or have had an equal or better physique than me without using gear. (not always obvious but sometimes u can tell. if ur 18 and have a Jeff seid build.... yeah ur not natty bro... at that point just take my money and bring out the Dbol
just to look at it off coarse

99% of the population isn't looking to be a body builder. They come in pain. So if you're this said 17-inch bro and don't know anatomy, movement competency and the biopsychosocial model for pain, you will fail miserably as a trainer. If you want to work at the Mecca, sure you may get some respect, but do these said body builders have the deep pockets to pay you the hourly rates that are deserved for elite trainers ($100+/ hour)? The blind leading the blind is what happens when people don't know the part of training and use their anecdotal evidence as the science.

You knows know I'm thinking about it what's so funny? Did Arnold, Ronnie, and all the people who completed in Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia and Powerlifting events have personal training certifications or any certifications at all? "NO". What you learn in a personal training program is all textbook vocabulary. They don't teach you real life experience. You can basically learn all of these "text book" vocabulary for free on UA-cam, Google, and other online sources as well. There are thousands of videos online regarding how to lift correctly, eat correctly, and be the best version of yourself. I guess only if you want to work for a public gym you need to have this certification since they expect you to have it?
