Traveling alone is one of my favorite things to do. I recently went to Mt. Rushmore and Badlands National Park solo, and it was amazing. I highly recommend doing things by yourself, it truly is a different experience.

I agree with this so much! It's like my mantra. You will never grow and change and evolve as a person if you do not put yourself outside of your comfort zone and do things you've never done before. And solo travel is awesome! I was terrified at first but my favourite part now is that it's a bit like starting fresh every time you leave. I can't even begin to explain how much I relate to this right now. I've always been close to home -- I even commute to college. However this summer I was given the opportunity to go across the country to be an intern. I was terrified of not knowing anyone and traveling across the country for the first time ever, and alone. But I knew it was something I had to do -- and I did it. And now I'm having the absolute time of my life in Seattle this summer and I'm so happy that I went on this journey alone; it has been extremely fulfilling. All of my fears about this experience haven't been a problem. I've been able to meet and make friends with so many new people and learn so much. If anyone reading this is worried about going out and doing something on their own, don't! The feeling of accomplishing something you fear, alone, will give you the most fulfilling feeling and confidence you'll ever experience
This is EXACTLY what I needed. I am 3000 miles from home, working in a hotel for two months and I feel lonely from time to time. This is my first trip without any family or friend with me and I feel so helpless. But now I will take the first step and go to the beach by my self. It is a baby step in the right direction!

I completely agree with this!! I went to study in China alone in 2013 and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I was able to explore the world and get to know myself in ways I couldn't before. i felt so accomplished after. I was even in a relationship when I went but I still decided to go and grow as a person, and my bf (now husband) supported me. Now I tell everyone if they have a chance to travel or live abroad to DO IT!

Love travelling by myself! I moved to Vancouver BC in 2015 and knew no one at all. I love just exploring and being able to experience it and process it without having to communicate. In saying that I also love to travel with friends and family - showing them my favourite spots and discovering new places together that will always remind you of them and that time

I'm traveling around Australia by myself, i was so scared to fly the 36 hours from Canada but it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and just enjoy my life! So true, you can't be afraid do something alone.
AGREED! I’ve traveled for the first time in my life.. and that was to New Zealand. Approximately 22 hours flying time overall. With 2 four hour layovers. What a stress ball I was leaving, but it was such an incredible experience. I learned so much about traveling that I wouldn’t have learned if I let someone lead the way for me. When traveling alone, you do what you want.. you eat what you want.. you go where you want. It’s fulfilling and really kind of rewarding. I left that one-month trip having learned so much about myself. I encourage everyone to do a solo trip!
I studied abroad in London by myself and it was the best thing I ever did. I became so much more independent and confident in myself and had to go outside my comfort zone to make new friends!

I have been traveling solo for 4 months straight! Road tripped over 10,000 miles across America, Canada, and went to Bermuda! It is crazy traveling alone, but I almost prefer it! I have had the time of my life and am so grateful to have done it! I vlogged the entire trip and my travels come to an end on September 1st!

Very inspirational. We just took a 8 hr trip and I was 34 weeks pregnant. Made me very nervous and I still had family with me. Then I reminded myself of my husband and I driving 20 hours to New Mexico and traveling to Europe and how I was able to do all of that. Reminding yourself of your victories can really get you far!

I love this! I almost didn’t go see my favourite band play because I had no one to go with. At the last minute I decided to go solo and it literally changed my life. Now I’ve just booked my first solo trip overseas - something I’ve wanted to do for years but was too afraid. Experiencing something alone is better than not having the experience at all. Start small, it’s worth it.
I couldn't agree more -- I traveled to the philippines alone for three weeks and it was the best experience of my life. I also love doing things alone from time to time just so you're on your own schedule!
I have recently traveled alone this year from Singapore to London, Salzburg and Amsterdam (a little Eurotrip if you would lol). I have to say it is a huge growth opportunity. I am pretty old in my twenties to be doing this for the first time but I think those who have experienced it would know the sense of liberation alone in a foreign land. When I was in Montreal by myself, I felt the most freedom I'd ever felt. More freedom than I'd ever felt in Toronto. Just this feeling of being able to walk where I wanted to walk. It was freezing cold, and I don't know if I've felt more alive than those three days.

All I do is travel by myself. I used to go to conferences so, of course, i'd be later meeting with people I knew but i honestly love it! At first, I was so scared and nervous! Now, i make sure i have everything all ready, go through my travel checklist, and relax and let my mind wander when we're about to take off.

I just found Monica's channel and I've never seen that vlogs can be this realistic and more like TV series or smth because almost every bring some thoughts of her vision of life or moral. It has always been my dream to travel with friends but unfortunately, I've come to the realization that they will never share the same drive to travel that I have. And I completely respect that; however, I believe that, age-wise, I'm in the prime of my life and I can no longer let my dreams just become dreams anymore. also i agree with traveling on your own. i recently did the disney college program and moved to florida by myself for 4 months. (I'm from california) one of the coolest things I've ever done. i ended up doing a lot by myself over there like going to disney parks alone, going grocery shopping, going to the movies. all by myself! which is something that i never thought id be able to do. bc I've always had this fear of being completely alone. but you have to learn how to enjoy your own company bc in the end all you have is yourself!! i would love to travel and go on vacation by myself. i really want to go camping but no one wants to go with me. so maybe ill do that by myself! :) but yeah i totally agree with you monica.
The feeling of needing someone to be with you to share those accomplishments is real, i feel that too. but as you said, it's good to do things alone too. I'm going to a eurotrip this year, from 19th December to 11th Februery across few countries and I wish I had someone to go with me, sad but, hey.. i believe this way will be the better.

I've traveled every year by myself even when I was really young. Luckily I had to because my parents traveled a lot growing up so it was a must that I learn to travel safely alone. I'm happy cause it has made me not afraid of being alone. Sometimes we all need that being alone experience, just doing things we normally do with others but instead ALONE.

Love travelling by myself! I moved to Vancouver BC in 2015 and knew no one at all. I love just exploring and being able to experience it and process it without having to communicate. In saying that I also love to travel with friends and family - showing them my favourite spots and discovering new places together that will always remind you of them and that time
this is so inspirational. im thinking of going on a trip alone because no one wants to come with me or theyre busy and i got scared because i havent been there before but now im gonna go and im so excited. thank you monica 🖤
This winter I went to NYC and spent 3 months there and I was all by myself, doing things alone, working in a law firm and it was the most amazing time of my life
I'm traveling around Australia by myself, i was so scared to fly the 36 hours from Canada but it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and just enjoy my life! So true, you can't be afraid do something alone.

AGREED! I’ve traveled for the first time in my life.. and that was to New Zealand. Approximately 22 hours flying time overall. With 2 four hour layovers. What a stress ball I was leaving, but it was such an incredible experience. I learned so much about traveling that I wouldn’t have learned if I let someone lead the way for me. When traveling alone, you do what you want.. you eat what you want.. you go where you want. It’s fulfilling and really kind of rewarding. I left that one-month trip having learned so much about myself.
I encourage everyone to do a solo trip!
I studied abroad in London by myself and it was the best thing I ever did. I became so much more independent and confident in myself and had to go outside my comfort zone to make new friends!

I have been traveling solo for 4 months straight! Road tripped over 10,000 miles across America, Canada, and went to Bermuda! It is crazy traveling alone, but I almost prefer it! I have had the time of my life and am so grateful to have done it! I vlogged the entire trip and my travels come to an end on September 1st!

Very inspirational. We just took a 8 hr trip and I was 34 weeks pregnant. Made me very nervous and I still had family with me. Then I reminded myself of my husband and I driving 20 hours to New Mexico and traveling to Europe and how I was able to do all of that. Reminding yourself of your victories can really get you far!
Loveee the message of this video. We're in the same stage of life. I just became a nurse and am moving away from home and everything I know. I realized that it's time for me to really be independent and live my life the way I want to! I'm so happy you're realizing that same thing :)

I love this! I almost didn’t go see my favourite band play because I had no one to go with. At the last minute I decided to go solo and it literally changed my life. Now I’ve just booked my first solo trip overseas - something I’ve wanted to do for years but was too afraid. Experiencing something alone is better than not having the experience at all. Start small, it’s worth it.
I couldn't agree more -- I traveled to the philippines alone for three weeks and it was the best experience of my life. I also love doing things alone from time to time just so you're on your own schedule!
I have recently traveled alone this year from Singapore to London, Salzburg and Amsterdam (a little Eurotrip if you would lol). I have to say it is a huge growth opportunity. I am pretty old in my twenties to be doing this for the first time but I think those who have experienced it would know the sense of liberation alone in a foreign land. Everyone should experience it at least once in your life. And if you enjoyed it, do more!

When I was in Montreal by myself, I felt the most freedom I'd ever felt. More freedom than I'd ever felt in Toronto. Just this feeling of being able to walk where I wanted to walk. It was freezing cold, and I don't know if I've felt more alive than those three days.

All I do is travel by myself. I used to go to conferences so, of course, i'd be later meeting with people I knew but i honestly love it! At first, I was so scared and nervous! Now, i make sure i have everything all ready, go through my travel checklist, and relax and let my mind wander when we're about to take off.

I just found Monica's channel and I've never seen that vlogs can be this realistic and more like TV series or smth because almost every bring some thoughts of her vision of life or moral. And that's sooo cool! Actually with little changes this vlogs can be some real TV series, I bet that's gonna be pretty successful.

This video brought tears to my eyes. It has always been my dream to travel with friends but unfortunately, I've come to the realization that they will never share the same drive to travel that I have. And I completely respect that; however, I believe that, age-wise, I'm in the prime of my life and I can no longer let my dreams just become dreams anymore. I can no longer wait for the right time to travel.
This was exactly what I needed. I hope to travel the world one day, and I've been so afraid of going alone. This has made me feel so much better about doing so, waiting for others will just limit me. 💙 Glad I subscribed 😍

Wow I needed this so much! I have the opportunity to go in Australia for a year, and I was not sure if I had the guts to do it. It will be my first time traveling alone, and you made me realise that I need to go! If I don't do it now I don't know if I will ever had another chance like that. also i agree with traveling on your own. i recently did the disney college program and moved to florida by myself for 4 months. (I'm from california) one of the coolest things I've ever done. i ended up doing a lot by myself over there like going to disney parks alone, going grocery shopping, going to the movies. all by myself! which is something that i never thought id be able to do. bc I've always had this fear of being completely alone. but you have to learn how to enjoy your own company bc in the end all you have is yourself!! i would love to travel and go on vacation by myself. i really want to go camping but no one wants to go with me. so maybe ill do that by myself! :) but yeah i totally agree with you monica.
The feeling of needing someone to be with you to share those accomplishments is real, i feel that too. but as you said, it's good to do things alone too. I'm going to a eurotrip this year, from 19th December to 11th Februery across few countries and I wish I had someone to go with me, sad but, hey.. i believe this way will be the better.
I feel ya girl! I hate traveling alone sometimes, and when I do I always think of I wish I had someone to experience this with but at the same time I like being alone.
I'm 18 years old and in March I traveled alone for the first time. It was the best choice I've ever made. In september is my second time and I'm so excited!

I'm leaving to study abroad for a semester in Montevideo, Uruguay in less than a month, I don't know anybody going, all my classes will be in Spanish, and I had to find my own housing, etc with no help from my university. I've been a bit nervous but this video really encouraged me and I know that I'll learn so much and have so many great experiences!

I know how you feel. I'm only 14 and I'm flying alone to San Francisco, CA from Montreal, QC in Canada in 2 weeks. This gives me confidence.
I've traveled every year by myself even when I was really young. Luckily I had to because my parents traveled a lot growing up so it was a must that I learn to travel safely alone. I'm happy cause it has made me not afraid of being alone. Sometimes we all need that being alone experience, just doing things we normally do with others but instead ALONE.
I was on live TV in Germany for 1 hour and it was amazing! When you have an opportunity like this you should totally do that!

I have traveled alone across the world. The best part was meeting the various other solo travelers. Its complete freedom. Germany, Russia, England, Japan, Hong Kong.
