So that is what those two things hanging off my custom Smittybuilt Jeep bumper are! I thought they wer D-Rings. Thanks for the "official" name! And thanks for the safety tip!
You don't have a winch? Even a 5000lb one from Harbor Freight would do the job. Drive your truck all the way to where you need to stop at then use a snatch block and double the pulling capability. It should pull easy on the posts. You won't have to keep stopping and moving the truck all the time. Just focus on the container and moving the logs.
Watched half the video / Spend The 400 next time .. That get out the truck every 20’ making separate videos … Oh by the way /Got to wait on my buddy Tommy.. Tommy could be somewhere smoking a bowl …Dude!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Gives folks confidence to try it...
Indeed very helpful
Moved a 40’ a few times, using a shorter chain creates lift as the truck pulls
Totally cool! A Can-Do attitude!
Cool, I am alone and do things slow and easy with safety number one.
You shouldn't hook the chain over the towball, it's not safe. Take it out and put a bow shackle thru the hole and then put the chain thru the shackle.
Yes, not safe but chain was short and we kept everyone clear of it.

Wait for the tenant to move out, wish my neighbors would move
So far so good.
You must be part Egyptian. LOL A very good lesson. Well done!
LOL, thanks.
Ground was smooth, just hook up and drag it the truck would handle it easy. The log rolling works great though.
Yeah they sell sliders for $30
Start at 4:53 time
Nice
Where is the 2nd video for this project? Were you able to finish moving the container as you had planned?
Sorry no 2nd video. Yes got it moved, just kept putting the logs under as I pulled it. It was rather simple.

The 400 dollars would be worth ever cent, safety first.
What's the name of the Jack you used?
Its a farm jack, you can get them at harbor freight tools.
@@TreasureGeo thanks man. Really helpful

Who would you have called to move it?
There are company's that will move it for you just do a google search. There are also guys on Craigslist and Offer Up that will move it.
How much is your time worth? $400 seems like a better deal.
I have lots of time and little money.
No shit…
$400 was cheap! AND minus $120 for posts down to $280?? FKJB!
