I like everyone's response to "What would you say to those who did/didn't make it?" not knowing who did or didn't make it. A lot of the comments become ironic because of that. Ya never know with these things...

I'd seen the first clip they showed; but the rest were new to me. I don't know- maybe I just don't have a sense of humour, but I'm sure I wouldn't find it terribly difficult to watch all of the clips without laughing.

We're not against mainstream humor at all! Almost all of us have our own individual channels on UA-cam where we do all sorts of things that are unrelated to Catholicism. The reason we made the compilation Catholic-themed is that it's the theme of this channel...to provide a place for people to enjoy specifically Catholic stuff.

Jews pray to the same God as we do. I can't see any problem with that.
It is possible to praise other religions for the good they do, even though they are false, without making them equal to Catholicism.
There are bits of truth in every religion and those bits are for our spiritual renewal. The Church herself teaches as much.
Secondly, certainly you realize Our Lord, Our Lady, The Apostles, and many of the first Christians were Jewish. Certainly they prayed in the Jewish way. What's wrong with that?

First: There isn't anything or anywhere in the whole Bible that says, Mary is the Queen of heaven.
Second: Jesus Christ is God, Lord and King of Heaven and Earth, King of the living and the dead who will be raised up on the day of his second coming to live with him eternal life.
Third: The Queen is the Church that includes all the true believers in the Old Testament, and the true believers and followers of Jesus Christ, who are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit for eternal life.
Fourth: The Twelve stars are the twelve sons of Jacob, representing the Church by flesh in the Old Testament, and the twelve Disciples of Jesus, representing the Church by the Spirit in the New Testament.
Therefore you have the 24 Elders around the throne of God in the book of Revelation. And the Queen the Church is clothed with the Sun = The true light of Jesus Christ, and the Moon under her feet. It's always find it funny when reading this story in Luke 2 at how dumb Catholic’s are that they just can’t see the significance behind this passage. In the passage Mary and Joseph traveled a whole day before they realized Jesus wasn’t with them…And then searched two more days before they found Him…..Mary was no more aware of what was going on than any other mother would be because she was no closer to God than anyone else…Certainly IF she had been sinless this would not have been the case…But Mary had no idea or special knowledge about ANYTHING--- MARY didn't know that jesus was ‘’Doing his fathers business! Hilarious !
To prove this further--- Luke 2:50 tells the reader they didn't understand the words Jesus spoke…. in both accounts Mary does not understant the things of God. And how could she??? She was a sinner ! Someone who is sinless would know God’s ways and not need an explanation. It is sin that corrupts ones understanding and blinds them to spiritual things. So in this account we see Mary equal with Joseph in their lack of understanding!! Mary failed to show any sinless qualities...she was sorrowing at Jesus disappearance, instead of showing any spiritual insight as to what He was doing as could be expected if she was in a state of sinless !..How can one swallow this? !
Mary was a daughter of Adam and as 1 Corinthians 15:22 says “ In Adam all die …” Mary died and was not assumed !
Catholics don’t find this doctrine of immaculate conception from the context of Scripture but from making a pretext out of the Scripture from their Church tradition which like most everything else that comes out of the Vatican--- is a complete lie !

Well, fish are also vertebrates just as we are. They have complex nervous systems and a brain, organs, muscles to move etc.
But what do you mean by "It's complicated"? What's complicated about it? Or is it just that language evolved that way so that meat is simply defined as also not including the flesh of fish even though it makes sense?
+lovingboarding Abstinence from meat is a matter of penance, not of strict religious forbiddance as it is for Jews keeping kosher. For them pork is unclean so they cannot eat it. We don't believe meat becomes unclean during Lent. We simply abstain from eating it. And the fact that fish is meat does not mean we are cheating or that we believe that fish is not meat in some sort of theological absolute way. I don't know why we are allowed to eat fish on days of abstinence but it really doesn't matter. How strict the Church is in matters of penance comes and goes.
In other words your comment has nothing to do with anything.
I remember that in the past beef, pork, and chicken was really expensive and considered more luxurious. With this in mind, you can make a connection that by abstaining from the other forms of meat during lent everyone forms a similar penance. By everyone stooping down to the same level. Of course some of us like to go the extra mile and add to the penance.
I'm not really sure if you should base that entirely on ''it's like this 'cause the church says it'' Maybe you should look onto the bible for answer or something. If it doesn't appear, if I were you I wouldn't eat fish on lent either.
