Sounds so timeless and gorgeous. Seems so ancient and yet it's so new. It has a feel that spans the generations and connects us all together. I'm totally ballsing this description up. Needless to say. This is something special.
This song is one of my all time favorites. The performance here is OK, but it is how the video has been shot and edited that makes me feel nauseous. Hardly any video ever has made me feel nauseous - I could not watch this couple of months ago and not even now. It is simply overdone. For me, the song is about the most calm, peaceful and beautiful moment one can have in his/her life. Here, this essence is lost with the rapid cuts and shaking camera. The viewer can not settle down for one second. Furthermore, the singing should and does explain itself - you do not need to underline the expressions with those extra close ups that makes a very, very cheesy impression.
I agree - this is clearly a compilation of two or more performances (the clumsy editing clearly gives away the lack of continuity) masquerading as a 'spontaneous' single performance. I prefer to scroll down, lose the video and just listen to her beguiling voice.
Best cover I've found. Such a beautiful song
bir ses ancak bu kadar huzur dolu olabilir

You don't like art?
I guess. It feels a little self-conscious to me, compared to the simplicity of the original.
I prefer the original.. sorry !
