@@skillfullyyoursmaris4425 Thank you for this tip, I rescued a bunch of old sheets with dead elastic using this method. However, I also snugged up the fit of the sheet, which means that the sheet does not rely on the elastic to stay on the mattress. Here is the method for snugging: use safety pins to figure out where the seams need to be. First, turn the sheet inside-out and put it on the bed. Then pin it to itself (at all 4 corners) until the sheet is snug against the mattress. Pull the sheet off the bed and sew a new seam parallel to the orignal seam at each corner, using the safety pins as a guide. Your new, custom-fit sheet will not slip, especially if you have (or add) functional elastic.
Thank you for sharing, it's a wonder why the sheets do not come that way automatically! My favorite part is when you happily jumped on the bed, thanks for the smile you gave me! I will explore more of your videos thanks a bunch! BRADY

BED SCRUNCHIE Sheet Holder Straps is what is needed if sheets have elastic on corners. I’ve never had a sheet come off of a bed even if there wasn’t elastic in the corners the only problem I’m having now is with a thick mattress sheets do not tuck in on the side far enough, so therefore, they scrunch up in the bed during the night not come off the bed.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy some 1" elastic. I'm ot much of a sewer but I I'll give it a try...amd like you said I'll sew top and bottom of elastic soit'stronger.
I’m so done with buying all the sheet straps that just don’t hold up. I’m going to just go ahead and start sewing the elastic on all my sheets. Solves the problem. I know someone who bought more expensive sheets with the elastic sewn in. I never knew you could buy them with the corner straps. But within a few months one of the sewn straps still popped off. She didn’t repair it but could pretty easily. So when I do mine I’ll make sure to double or triple the stitches to make it extra secure. Thanks for sharing your video!🌞
Why don’t manufacturers just make sheets to fit the mattress properly. I’ve bought brand new sheets that supposed to fit my size bed and they’re too big. It used to be you didn’t have to buy or make contraptions to make your sheet snug. 😊
