Winding Stairs trail is a amazing hike filled with flowing water and bluffs for days. This is a 4.8 mile out and back. 2 major water crossings.

May sha, I think I heard a little bit of a Louisiana accent there. Not a strong heavy Cajun accent, but something... Great video though. I've only driven that hwy 1 ridge a couple of times. I'd like to hike the Ouachitas too.

What would you consider the most difficult part of the hike?

If you are doing the entire eagle rock loop then I would say the west side where the mountains are.

But if you are doing just to winding stairs then I would say the first real up hill section closer to the parking lot.
