One more question rob .when you power on the speaker do you hear 2 click sounds/noises before I speaker actually turning on all the way .?
Hey thanks for the questions, yes the speaker makes noise when you turn it on and again when it's connected.
@@TheWokeReview1 are we talking about 2 clicks or we talking about like notifications sounds telling you its connecting . Sounds like a glitch sound when powered on is that normal .thanks. so far sound is great for the price 399
@@albert1326 mine does the same thing, that click is the power going into the power grid to turn it on
I switched it to low freq mode but lost track trying to turn it back to regular mode. on regular is the sound louder or is low freq mode louder or does low freq just make quieter with more bass?
It sounds louder in regular mode, but it's because there's less bass. In Low freq mode it sounds deeper.
What speaker has more bass and sounds better , the jbl partybox 300 or the Sony MHC V71?
Thanks for the question, the Sony
Can you turn back to normal mode after turning on LFM?
Yes the same way.
Which software do you have? I have party box 300 too and can't switch to lfm.. (software 341219) or it doesn't matter? Thank you.
You must have the newer firmware. Is your Partybox brand new? Just curious, I just picked up a Partybox 310 and it's really nice, the bass is much better. If you have a chance to get one I recommend it.
Are you aware bass boost 1 is much better for very low bass? Bass boost 2 is more for rock music as it boosts higher frequency bass.
@@TheWokeReview1 Yes my partybox is brand new i bought it in November 2020.. it has 341219 software, so i have to do update for lfm function? Thanks. :-)
@@TheWokeReview1 and yes Bass boost 1 has more low Bass than boost 2
@@lukassindelar3287 Thats right, bass boost 1 boosts lower frequencies. bass boost 2 I mostly use for rock music.
@@lukassindelar3287 LFM has been discontinued.
So mine doesnt work without wire do i have the 200 or 300?
Which wire? Power or Auxiliary? The difference between the 200 and 300 is that the 200 doesn't have a battery and must be plugged in. SO if you're talking power cable than you have the 200. Both hook up via bluetooth to your phone, you may need to do a hard reset. Look in your manual for the instructions on how to do it, after resetting try your bluetooth connection again.
Which is better the lg ok75 or the pb 300
OK75 if you don't need a battery. But youmay not be able to find a 75 now. Another option is the rn7, it's not quite as loud as the 75, but still better than the JBL.
What app you used to control speaker
I don't, the last JBL app I tried stunk. I just use itunes.
Sir I want to ask something from u How can i contact
Plz sir
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I had a busy weekend. You can email me at Robsreviews33@gmail.com
Awesome review! Earned my thumbs up
Much appreciated! thank you
It is okey to use always with lfm?
I always did, but JBL removed it from the firmware. I suppose it's possible that it isn't good for the life of the speaker and that's why they removed it.
That said, get yourself a nice music player app with a good Equalizer and that will help with the bass roll off at the higher volumes.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I am thinking to buy PartyBox 1000, do you know if Partybox 1000 has LFM?
A viewer told me that it does. Thanks for the question and watching.

Oooo and what do you think, the pb200 also has these secret modes? 😁
@@sandorbalint1911 pb 1000 does not have low freq mode. Low freq mode has been done away with after the pb300.
I think they got rid of it. I just got one yesterday and this doesn’t work.
Yeah a few viewers have said the same thing, you can try a hard reset. But I think you're right
@@TheWokeReview1 I think the new firmware disables it. There might be a way to downgrade to an old version to get it back

Would this be a good replacement for a soundbar?
Nah, I would stick with the sound bar especially if it has a sub woofer.
Hey mate did they get rid of this feature?, cheers
They have, the new firmware does not have and will remove it if you do have it.
Yo waz up ? Which version of the firmware do you have?
Hey brother how ya doing? Not sure, I sold the speaker last week.
Robs reviews and demos didn’t like it? Why’d you sell?
Cause this speaker is overhyped terms the base
I got one its okay and it goes pretty loud but the base is nog that great do
I only bought it because i had a Free mediamarkt gift card
And a exstra discount
I payed 100 euro’s thats About i think 60bucks us
Otherwise i would not have bought it
Just ordered one
Cool enjoy it
@@TheWokeReview1 how good is it for you in loudness
@@jackyboy0242 it's okay, It has the same issue over 50%, but it's loud enough for normal listening levels. If I want it really loud I'd get out a different speaker because of the bass issue. But for say listening while working around the house or in the yard it's fine.
@@TheWokeReview1 but is it a good loud party speaker for house party’s when the bass mode is off
@@jackyboy0242 it's decent, remember the louder you turn it up the louder everyone has to talk. Unless we're doing Karaoke I use it for background music during parties. Everyone just screams over it otherwise lol
Should lay it with the two tweeters on the upside for best sound.

SIR TAMA probably because you got a new one. As far as Ik only the older model (pre order model when it first came out) has lfm and the new ones only have 2 bass boosts

@@TheWokeReview1 Did have? Not the new ones maybe ?
@@thomasleifseth5201 Someone told me it had low mode but I didn't have the speaker anymore to confirm that. The 300 I bought in december or January had it.
“Low frequency mode” is not a bass boost mode. It disables the dsp and the limiters that jbl implements in order to protect your speaker. Don’t use LFM!
I know lots of people that use it without issue, but it sounds better on boost 1.
Will the battery start charging in AC mode if I plug it in or it simply runs on AC ?
it will charge. It's battery is good for about 8 hours on full blast I believe.
Is it's good for small rooms ?
Yeah, it's perfect for small rooms, especially if you want it loud. If you want beautiful sound in a small room with decent volume watch my next review, it should be posted later today. Thanks for the question and watching.
Plug them in when in the house . They go louder
I didn't notice a difference.
I tried few times. No changes at all

Thanks brother.
Hold the light button down for 5 seconds and the strob lights cut off..

You can connect it to a ps4 with a aux cord and it makes it 10 times louder
The Auxillary cable shouldn't change how loud it is. The signal will be much more clear but it should be just as loud.
Robs reviews and demos well idk but its louder idk why
@@aroncontreras7737 Strange, I never heard that before. Interesting. It may be that it is so much more clear that it seems louder. My ok75 is like that when I put a CD in it.

Can I use the partybox 300 to watch movies on my tv?(with aux)
Thank you for the question, if your tv has an aux out then yes you can. Or you can use the rca connections. Most tvs do have the rca connections and I would think newer tvs have blue tooth as well.
i would try on an aux or a stereo connection as Bluetooth might have some latency also you will have lip-sync problems
Hey just thought I'd get your opinion real quick as you seem pretty knowledgeable and I really enjoy your reviews; I'm having a wedding and wanted to invest in some nice speakers that I could use again and not just spend a ton on a dj; that being said, it's an outside event wear part of the ceremony will be on a beach and the reception under a structure. You think two of these bad boys will be loud enough paired together to entertain about 100 people for the reception? I only need a wireless option for the beach part, but otherwise for the reception I could use an outlet and have it plugged in. I was thinking they could be decent speakers for my tv but that is probably overkill 😂. I saw that the lg ok99 seems incredible and much louder than these; it's just the wireless part I need for the beach. Sorry for such a long post, if you feel like replying I would sure appreciate it!
Thanks for the question. I don't know, outdoors they may not be loud enough. Look at the lg 550 watt rk7 xboom speakers. I haven't reviewed these yet but I've been extremely impressed with all the lg's I've tested. These run 350 bucks and I'm willing to bet they're way louder than the jbls. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1449981-REG/lg_rk7_loudr_550w_bluetooth.html/?ap=y&ap=y&smp=y&smp=y&lsft=BI%3A514&gclid=CjwKCAjwtqj2BRBYEiwAqfzur0nfj8GPqNCeWrKF1FiJPzQhDWQQOvb21InalSsESEk4zx6m6knEtxoCsDwQAvD_BwE
