Hi Rob! Solid video 👍 Question: I have a brand new 310 and I find when I turn it on, there is an audible hissing noise coming from every speaker. I returned one as I thought it was a defective unit, but this one is literally brand new. You can hear it over low playing music, and I can hear it when it's simply on. Does yours do this?
I don't think so, there is usually a small amount of white noise with a bluetooth connection but you can generally only hear it in between songs. Or when there is a lull in the music and the speaker is turned up fairly loud. Can you try connecting to it via a different device or try updating the device you're using. Maybe it's sending out a bad signal.
How does the bass & loudness on this compare to the Partybox 1000? I have this speaker and I think it sounds amazing! The reason why I asked this question is that because I am tempted to get the 1000. Any thoughts or advice? Would I be better off buying another 310 for true wireless stereo sound (thus have two 310s) instead of one Partybox 1000?
It doesn't, the 1000 is about 3 times louder, the bass response is similar so it goes just as low. The only issue I have with the 1000 is it has some pretty extreme bass roll off over 3/4 volume, but the unit I tested was an early model and that could be better now.
I am confused, if you have to pick one which one would you pick and why? Sony MHC-V43D, Lg ok75, JBL partybox 310? Battery is not priority, loudness, bass and clarity is, and if tweaking eq achieves that, would be very happy. Love to know your opinion. Thank you

Some issues which a sponsored video wont tell you. Have owned it for a couple of months, CONS- 1. The speaker sound drastically decreases when played on battery. 2. The speaker doesnt even last 6 hours with full volume with all lights turned off. 3. Charging time is 8-9 hours which is way longer for such a short playback time. 4. Body is made of low grade plastic so it gets scratched even when it comes in contact with simple surfaces. If playing on battery for long hours is your priority, which should be for a portable speaker with advertised battery life of 18 hours, this is not for you. Utterly disappointed.
Maybe you have a lemon. I generally tell everyone the pros and cons in every review I do. The Battery life is dependent on what you're playing and how loud you have it. Generally on average you should get 5 to 8 hours running it around 50%. But, if you're playing heavy bass, full blast, on bass boost 1 it's gonna kill it faster. How long do you get out of it and how long to charge it? Not sure if the 310 has the upgraded battery or not, the 110 does and it charges fast. I actually like the 110 much more because it's half the price and probably has 70% of the power the 310 has. Plus it's way more portable. Yes, I did tell my viewers that it's a little bit louder when plugged in. I also explained the Bass boost. Boost 2 is not stronger than boost 1, they are basically preset EQ's which boost different frequencies. Boost 1 is good for that really deep hip hop bass, boost 2 is better for rock music, with bass guitar and bass drums. As for scratching the unit, It's actually a very ridged plastic. It has to be or it would vibrate and ruin the sound. All plastic scratches but, that really ridged plastic doesn't give. So if you hit something it's gonna scratch it rather than bend or absorb the impact like your car bumper might. Here's an idea, don't scratch it!!🤣🤣Just messing wit ya. All and all JBL is a good brand that makes high quality speakers. I've found no product is perfect but, jbl is up there for quality. Here's my critical points video for the 310... ua-cam.com/video/9iE6EMl6kh8/v-deo.html&lc=UgwJ6pDAfpDBdAaekYV4AaABAg
Yeah, 5 hrs is the playback time at full volume. Consider this, 5 hrs. is a pretty good amount of time for the sound the speaker has, It has some heavy bass. The LED lighting hardly uses any power compared to the amplifier. They also have a car charger for it, I can't remember if the 310 comes with it. I know the 300 came with one. The PB110 is what I use, I absolutely love it. It has the upgraded battery so it charges in about 5 hours, play time is similar to the 310, it's half the size so it way easier to lug around. It was my "To Go" speaker of the year when it came out. I swear for half the price you get 75% of the 310's power. It really is a great unit. I liked the 310 too, but the 110 is a much more portable unit and for the price of one 310 you can get two 110's and have stereo sound. That said, if you don't really need a big portable speaker, I always recommend buying a home theater. I use mine way more than the portables and the sound is amazing, yeah it costs more but it's well worth it. If you're an audiophile save your money and buy a good home theater you'll thank me when you do. Check mine out, not cheap but the sound is incredible. Just the audio portion probably ran me 7 g's. I've never heard it, but a few other people have said that.
Which sounds better?
710 or 310?
they both sound great, the 710 just has way more power if you're into that.
How loud is this ?
If you want decibels, I couldn't tell you for sure. I can tell you that if you're within 30 feet of it, it's plenty loud. Not overbearing loud, it gets overbearing loud at 10 feet, meaning you have to yell to be heard.
Bro how about your battery status now
I don't have the 310 anymore, but the 110 still gives me 5 hours at mid volume.
Is it good for Western Classical and Heavy metal music?
yeah, if you need a battery it's decent. Otherwise I would go with the Samsung t70 if you don't need the battery. It's better on the mids and highs than the jbl and it has decent bass. The price is better too.
@@TheWokeReview1 What'll be your rating about sound clarity and quality of 310 on 10?
@@somnathdas1630 the sound quality is always good, it loses some bass but still sounds good.
@@TheWokeReview1 Loses some bass?! From when? after crossing 80% volume? I heard the sound quality gets little bad in max volume. I think it is fine till 75% volume, right?
@@somnathdas1630 around 60% it starts to lose bass, it's a little better when plugged in. It's not that it loses quality, it's that the sound profile changes a little at higher volumes.
for $ 190 difference jbl 300 or jbl 310?
new every 2 400 buck 300 vs 650$ 310
the 310 is much nicer but they should be almost the same price. At least they were when the 310 came out.
Nice review..now these are hard to find...wish i got another PARTYBOX 100 or this....over the Samsung....damn....lol
You don't like the Samsung anymore?
@@TheWokeReview1 Well sometimes...lol..but its missing highs...some song sound good..and some are just dull...might return...but its so damn big..
@@ThatCrazyRCGuy67 I got the Samsung t-50 and I agree with you. It's really quiet compared to my other speakers. It has nice bass but that's really all it's good for.
@@ThatCrazyRCGuy67 Doesn't it have an eq in the app?
@@TheWokeReview1 It does...it was on party when i got it..wich sounds the clearest to me..
I mean this speaker can sound great..then other times its meh...but id like to try 2..lol...but i got a HT also..so really no room.
Can I switch off the lights without the app?
yes
@@TheWokeReview1 can u explain how? So that it can help me.
Just push the lighting button till they shut off
@@Gaminghouse2001 push the button that looks like a sun repeatedly until the lights shut off.

Some issues which a sponsored video wont tell you. Have owned it for a couple of months, CONS-
Thanks for the reply😅 Did clear a lot of things I was confused with.
I'd do it again tomorrow ua-cam.com/video/4g04KlLsqqQ/v-deo.html@@Ivanborah
