Hi Brent, Yes, I did get that today. I updated to 24H2, not forced by the Windows update. I did see now when watching your video, the view the see more menu, mine too is up and not down did check that. Hope Mircosoft fixes that sooner rather than later. Thanks again for your video. Take care.
I had problems with this update, In the start menu theres no option to unpin an app, Theres only pin app option even if the app is already pinned so you can't unpin an app
I received 24H2 and the updates yesterday....took a while but so far it's all good....I don't have everything and some things you had to point out so thanks .........how did you get the time like that? I can't find it on mine. But it's no more quirky than other platforms roll out 😂 I like it tbh....
I recommend waiting a few months to update to Windows 11 24H2. It is very unstable as of now - so just wait. A forced install could, if at the wrong time, make things worse. So just wait a few months to update all your devices to 24H2. Have a great day! :D
i clean installed win11 24h2 this nov 24 2024. it's much much better than the mature version of win10 as of nov 2024 which i have to reformat coz everything is dragging. downside is, i have to copy back to win11 my win10 data, reinstall games and apps and have to accept the fact that finding 64-bit version of apps/components for win11 environment. for example in win10 i can install 32-bit foobar2000 with optional 32-bit components. but in win11 64-bit foobar2000 runs fine but there are no 64-bit optional components available. I cannot replicate or restore back my app's usual 32-bit settings and look even if I have exported my settings for migration to win11.
@@adnanabbasi9745 No idea… My system is up to date, I’m always signed into my MS account and I’m insider Beta… no big deal, but we have 4 W11 pro 23H2 PCs and none of them received 24H2?
The "Get updates when available" works when the broad deployment phase has begun. It ensures that devices are up-to-date with the latest features and improvements as soon as they're ready for wider release.
For all i care 24H2 has not been released yet, the iso they offer is borked and won't work on many systems that are supposed to be supported. Not being offered by update either. Microsoft is a mess. Updates are now on thursdays instead of tuesdays apparently.
Love how MS markets new things like _tailored experiences_ as a _new feature_ when it is more less spyware.
At least there's an option to turn it off.
I just got 24H2. It's good tbh.

I have the new update - Windows 11 24H2 on my PC, but not on my laptop yet. Should I keep waiting or just download the ISO? Any thoughts?

@0Aether Thank you. That's what I thought for this particular update.
I agree with @0Aether, it's best to wait... way too many bugs need to be fixed.

Do you think 24H2 will ever be released or rollout for countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal?
How about USA? .. I’m still waiting

So, what's the criteria of rolling out 24H2?
Hardware + CPU or region or something else?

Please resume functions textually 🤯
I have the option to get the latest updates when they're available on. Yet I still don't have 24h2;yet . Still running 23h2. Is this normal?

Be glad, 24H2 isn't ready yet. They released it early for their surface device sales.
@@diaman_d I already have it ir arived a few hours after i poosted my reply.
Sorry toask but your accent sounds familiar, are you South African?
Yip

I run Windows 10 LTSC IoT :)
Then why are you watching this?

It’s Friday in my area plus 24H2 released like 4 months ago😂.
@@Nelson-r2e 24H2 has been available much longer for insiders even. Releasing no longer means it is a finished product.
@@diaman_d It definitely isn't a finished product, and personally I'd rather wait for a lot of the bugs to be fixed.
