If a lot of people get together and complain to Microsoft, maybe. I believe Microsoft has other plans for the Taskbar and top area of the desktop, that's why there isn't an option. Thanks,
They probably will at some point but they're just properly adapting windows to touch screens right now and that's where it's heading where i bet computers won't even have keyboards in a few decades if not sooner you'd have to connect one in. There is plans to make it a floating taskbar.
You should have an option to do so if you right click the task bar and choose task bar settings under the dropdown list. I moved mine to the left. No option to shrink it yet though.
@@K4rmaRulesThe OP meant displaying the taskbar on the left/right side of the screen, not aligning the start button and icons to the left/centre/right.
32:52 I don't like the "new" Outlook app, it's slower because it's a web app and it looks cluttered. I'm not the only one, many people prefer the app we already have and it works perfectly. It's a pretty big downgrade. I don't understand why Microsoft focuses on making web apps when native ones are better, perhaps to save time and money and they don't care about the quality they are delivering to the user, I hate it. With Windows 11, Microsoft is increasingly turning it into a "site" to publicize themselves by putting bloatware and ads in everything. I prefer the cleanliness of Windows 7 a thousand times, even 8. Windows no longer focuses on the user but on Microsoft itself.
Microsoft introducing energy saver options knowing most of what is consuming the power resources are things they introduced and aren't really necessary. How about if Microsoft removed those unnecessary components and then users won't need power saving features.
This is just one of many processes that'll be automated the energy process was the first in august's update and it should use less power especially when they start using the nano chips china just created that uses microwatts of power which is such a tiny amount of power.
is the taskbar program suddenly lost its icon still a problem? if you often use virtual desktop, this missing icon is everyday problem in current version of Windows 11.
I use Windows 11 23H2 on my work laptop and Windows 10 on my personal. I'm not upgrading to Windows 11 on my personal laptop because I see a lot of glitches in Windows 11 like slow action center and slow File explorer and many more. Did Microsoft put any effort to make Windows 11 more efficient?
That's hard to tell. I can tell you that I've been using Windows 11 for more than a year, and everything seems to be working fine, but your experience may be different because of hardware and software configuration.
As I said in the video, even after installing the update, once it becomes available, it'll take time to get all the features. In my case, in one PC, I have it, and in another I don't. Also, how Microsoft is integrating the features is a mess.
It's not the official update you got you're probably on the tester version which is called "preview" a lot of people still don't get this isn't the official update for any of the updates throughout the year. For the next version or now going onto the next windows number every 3 years, is in september and october you get most of the changes they want to make and then the small amount of stuff is added gradually from february to july. We won't officially be put onto the next version until april or may like what happened this year. However it's too risky updating it straight away because there isn't any new driver updates yet for it and that's why many have problems if not it blue screens. The "preview" tester updates aren't going to have everything they're going to put in the official updates because it's just that a tester update you have to wait. There's just no fomo to be had with the updates though because it going to keep changing based on current technology and computers are going to be adapted to touch screens in the coming decades so it's going to start looking different.
Not everyone gets the same features at once; I have to use different computers to access some of the features, as you saw in the video. Even when MS launches the update, it'll take time for everyone to get all the feature. You also saw that I didn't get the AI features.
Recent File Cannot be Shown in Apps pinned in Start Menu. What about Enable Permanently Delete instead of Recycle Bin in Windows 11 without pressing shift with an icon on file explorer. taskbar is still unpractical. a system where you have to click three times when before you had to click one
I don’t know why they keep doing these yearly updates. They just need to go back to what they did with Windows 7 where they released an operating system and then it gets security updates. Save all the features for the new version of windows
I have only a Question: can you directly use IrfanView with all the usual picture formats (bmp, jpeg, gif, png, etc) ? "Open with" is not an option every fckin time !
@@Pureinfotech sadly, a don-t know how. In the beginning, it was an option, but has been disabled on the way. I can-t change the default format for jpeg or png in the last version of W11 :(
@nls3081 Another way that we've always been able to do this in other windows is. Put all the photos in a folder, right click on one of the photos and go to properties, then in the general tab under type of file click change next to opens with and change it to irfan. After you click apply and okay it should then change all the photos in the folder to open with irfan. I like doing it this way because it helps customize which photos you want to open with which software, you don't have to get rid of the photos app.
@@arismazimmer9275@arismazimmer9275 Up on checking, I have computers on version 23H2; some of them do, and some others don't. Microsoft is building features for both 23H2 and 24H2 at the same time. Some features are even on 23H2 and not yet on 24H2, and vice versa. At the time I started recording the video, the feature wasn't available to me on 23H2. I also believe that some features from version 24H2 will be available on 23H2 even after 24H2 releases. Thanks for letting me know.
The updates come in sep and october but they won't change the version number until april or may they didn't this year for 23h2 it might be random which month but technically you are on 24h2 and the next versions because septembers and octobers updates are for the next version. If you see any problems though you should probably roll back to augusts update because high chances you will see problems because there's no updated drivers yet for the next version which always takes them 4 or 5 months to make new ones.
They are rolling out gradually, it will take several monthly updates until you most of them. Some of them are GRADUALLY rolling out with the update from November. Thanks,
I don't think it's relevant, but because of updates and features come first to Pixel, the camera, and in 2024, the design. Finally, I'm used to it like an iPhone user. Thanks,
To be honest, I don't see any particular useful feature. I rarely change the settings, and still have to install PowerToys to have more features that Windows does not provide natively.
