I'm married to a Chinese man and his mom teaches me Chinese in our free time. She speaks English, as she's a professor, so I have it easier than Savannah here. But omg, let me tell you when my mother-in-law starts going, I'm just like "等等，慢说话啊！” (wait,wait, speak slowly!!)
