Technically, its quite hot because it's normal as the system is operating especially if you're gaming/editing/rendering or other heavy load stuff. I would say the only bothersome fan noise i've heard is when i'm exporting 4K videos, but its really normal for me because its high quality stuff. After that process, it just automatically come back to its original fan working state.

That will do because you need gaming, but as for battery life, make sure to get 90wh battery, if you can't, i wouldn't recommend this. College/Work should be more prioritized which revolves around battery life, if you can sacrifice life without gaming! Just go for Macbook Air or Pro, insane battery life!

F15 is quite better. F15 is Intel, which has advantage and noticeable benchmarks results. On the other hand, A15 is AMD which has performed a bit slower on single core/multi core and etc than intel (based on benchmarks and other test) but its quite cheaper than F15. Majority of consumers of ASUS TUF Series have gone towards F15 because a lot of people are much more familiar with Intel. So, go for F15 for performance and make your money worth it, but if you're saving up/have a exact budget, go for A15.
@@Renn2802 Absolutely, but if that's what you'll gonna use the F15 for, i suggest you to upgrade to 24/32 gb RAM if you have budget. 16gb is decent and will still work no problem at all with what you've mentioned but upgrading it higher will put less pressure on other components and that's important because replacing stuff inside laptop is not easy as changing PC parts and will save you time/money on the long run. (My F15 is 24gb RAM and it exports 4K videos pretty fast, if you want to settle for 16gb, no problem at all cause its the min recommended)

My fan is Cooler Master Spectrum X150. You have create elevation for fans to really work and cool the laptop. If you're basing on the overheating by touching the keyboard part and its hot. That's completely normal, it happens on all laptops, its worse on other low end laptops. Rely on thermals and use Armoury Crate + MyAsus. I suggest you to download NZXT Cam app from their official site that accurately monitors thermals and etc.

You probably using integrated graphics to run the game. That one is not for gaming but for general use. Try see in the options if you can select which graphic to use on the game/app.
