I'm a seasoned colony survival game player and this is 100% true
As the lord of a manor, i love being abandoned by peasants for someone richer, taller, more handsome, or better looking... never mind its not fun...
People may be not as engaged with content outside of EU4 and alike, but it is good to see Laith playing something else to not burnout and enjoy another challenge.
The only thing you can do to make it harder is go with the other mission type, where no enemy baron but just constant bandit attacks after a year. Lot more challenging.
I said it in OPB's comments. I really want flavour packs. Iberia, ireland, France, etc. Get new environments and retextured buildings.

workers in the storage building carry 10 at at time, they might save you a lot of time when transporting building materials, and even on hard difficulty I think building and employing the storage, after logging and hunting, pays for itself in terms of opportunity cost quite fast
They also open market stalls

It kind of reminds me of a fancier looking version of "Caeser III", which was a city-builder/economic game with some combat mixed in.
This game has a very interesting gameplay loop in which you build up top layers of industry before building up the base resource gathering ones.
And never spent the money on getting mercenaries or augmenting your retinue, that made me suffer every time you got raided
The start of this video is wild, but what killed me is 1:10 "This is big Dave, a proper brexit geezer" - You had my attention, now you have my curiosity xD

This seems like a very painful way to start the game and I wish I could create content like you on these kinds of games I’ve been playing them since I was 8 and love them great videos laith keep it up we love you and I can’t wait to be able to play this game as well.
Hopefully we don’t need to start recounting Laith’s many life saving accomplishments again. And we all hope that he and his girlfriend are happy together.
