Epiphone Explorer vs. Flying V | Which Would You Pick?

I'm surprised no one has commented saying 'You can sit with the V!!! You don't know how to play with it' or something along those lines.
I've played several Gibson/Epiphone V's and the ends are huge. The way you sit with them doesn't lead to the accuracy that the explorer does when it comes to recording. Unlike a Jackson randy Rhoads V, which has a smaller piece that you tuck, these are giant.
On the other hand, the explorer standing up unfortunately does neck dive, but that's easy to fix with a guitar strap that has grip.

Just got my explorer and it’s very comfortable to sit with and play, just feels meaner. V’s are great for shredding tho.

Id say it depends on your position in the band, are you just a guitar player? Either rhythm or lead? Go V! Are you a guitar player that also sings or does backings and no lead at all, explorer!
