    A cheerful-sounding Roger Maude at the BBC1 mic. The direct cut from clock to globe means the globe was on videotape I assume. I’m sure I read somewhere this is the case.

      More likely they used one of their two clocks. One with a thin second hand that was in the Noddy frame. The other with a fat second hand with its own camera that was elsewhere in the Noddy room. They just cut from that to the Noddy camera, which was already pointing at the globe.
      There used to be an article about this on The TV Room Clean Feed website but it’s been taken down now.

      @@stickytapenrust6869 Ah thanks, I think I’ve heard mention of the second clock located out of the rack. Interesting. I quite like the slow down and up seen occasionally between clock and globe as the camera adjusts its position. Anyway, thanks for info.
