Absolutely ridiculous how racism is still involved in football. The beautiful game is supposed to bring people together to enjoy the sport
Racism itself is in human nature. Since the beginning of times people have looked badly at outsiders or even people who arent from the same village let alone race.
It's naive to think you can stop racism completely or even reduce it drastically. You are being fed by the media and organizations the idea that you can stop all these issues so easily, when even the people who started these movements or control it know that it's impossible.
That's why I dont care if someone makes racist remarks or other things. I just endure it and ignire them knowing that they will be punished for it in the afterlife.

they need harsh punishments or nothing will change, point deductions, closed door matches. Players also need to walk off the pitch, that will force change faster because sponsors and money talks sadly. Also Madrid lacks a true real captain right now, felt like barely anyone stood up for vini, I'll tell you this if pepe or Ramos was still at madrid this would have played out very differently, they were TRUE captains and led from the front and would've stood up for their teammates no matter what. It’s all part of their agenda to paint him one way when he isn’t that at all as a player. Their true colors come out in the way they react to situations like this. Hell the President of La Liga himself cares more about the league’s name being criticized more than actually doing anything productive to make a stand against the racist acts that players like Vini face from fans without any consequences. La Liga needs to do better it’s ridiculous that nothing is done to give the players the support they need against racism.

The main problem here is how people are raised. Simple as that. Differences are clear between a respectful person and a disrespectful person. Not just in football but in every aspect of life there’s people who are positive oriented human beings and negative oriented human beings. Knowing La liga they’re just going to come out with a general pr answer that won’t change anything. True change will occur when more positive oriented people are in charge.

When you have a sport federation that wants to put up banners for "say no to racism" or 'blm' or "support Ukraine" but they don't want to mess with their bottom line by punishing a team and franchise then you might as spit on the sport and the fans and the players. Italy, in the Serie A, or other Italian leagues, are notorious for racial abuse. In England, it can go anywhere. In Germany, not too much, unless you’re talking of that one game of Bayern vs Hoffenheim, where i assume there was a banner that was offensive. either way, in the end, absolutely NO ONE, should be racially abused because of the color of their skin. They can stop playing the 'say no to racism' ad before every Champions League game as far as I'm concerned. As long as they allow situations like this to keep happening, you make a complete embarrassment of yourselves playing those ads. Like how difficult can it be, set an example, someone has the be the first to be punished. Forfait score in favorite of the opposing team, take away points, degradation to second division, banned from European competitions. I don't know what, but set an example, say this is the line and it will not be crossed without consequences.

The official in charge of VAR also just showed Vini’s reaction after the same Valencia player had him in a chokehold. Thank goodness that official got fired as a result as of recently.

It’s all about money at the end of the day, they won’t have close door games because the clubs won’t make any money out of stadium sales. Clubs has to pay a fee to la liga. La liga won’t take that risk of losing money. They should deduct points if anything!

If Madrid doesn’t play that sends a statement out that not only will a game not play but it also shows that these racist acts won’t be tolerated if people can’t behave properly therefore no game will be played. This will cause fans to not want to purchase tickets to the games if no game is taking place. It’s a big risk but something risky has to take effect for changes to happen. After all the President of La Liga is already more concerned with La Liga’s reputation than actually the treatment of it’s players as it is. The only way he will care is if he starts losing money for the league.

Everyone takes insults differently it doesn’t make them any less than a player in the way they react to the treatment they are getting.
