Love the fact you have a mobile woodshop with tools that work in the trailer! I would say my trailer is a mobile tool room with a portable woodshed that has to be set up on site. Thanks for the content
The mobile shop has been a total game changer. I’ve refined it to suit my needs since this video and absolutely love it. I wish I did it sooner. Thanks for watching. Ps your trailer as well as Ron’s and a few others made mine possible. I spent a year watching videos and planning.
Thank you. I have a few more ideas coming in a future video. The Bosch saw is a nice piece. But it’s about to be replaced . I’m trying to be mostly cordless in the trailer. Im switching over to the makita 40v 8 1/4” miter saw. When I set up outside the trailer I’ll set up my dewalt 780. The Bosch is just too heavy.
Has any one mentioned you may need more mitre saws??? Secondly, how much do you want for your trailer? That thing is genius. I love it. Nicely done. The built-in functioning saws are awesome. Those quick cuts can now be done with the right tool rather than a jigsaw or circular saw. Very nice!
Hahahaha. Yes In fact it’s been mentioned.. they all serve a purpose. Trailer isn’t for sale. Yet. LOL. The trailer has been a total game changer for me. I wish I did it when I was younger. Thanks for the compliments!
@@realworldcarpentryremodeli5868 Absolutely! Do you have any plans or drawings? I am building mine out right now and I am planning to use a lot of your ideas.
I bought Ron Paulk a plans then drew a set of plans on graph paper. They are not exact . I modified as I went. If you send me your email I can scan them and send them to you.
Excellent job on your trailer setup. loving the side door moving cabinet. I suppose you are able to lock and also unlock from the side door access? So not lose the use of that entrance? Either way it looks perfect to use as a tool carrier and a shop on wheels. Hope you don't mind but when I get into a larger trailer I will probably use most of your design. Presently working out of a 6x12 all aluminum, single axle, 3500 gvw, Neo trailer. Also Ron Paulk inspired. A large tool box on wheels. Thanks, and take care.
Thank you! Yes . The hardware door is fully lockable from both sides. Most of my ideas are hijacked from others as well. I have a couple of more things to do to make it 100%. It’s not fully organized yet. Still trying to figure out where some stuff should go.
Really nice build! Well thought out. I never found having a table saw and miter station built into the trailer as efficient. That was my original plan but found bring the cut stations as close to the installation area as possible saved the most time. How has it been working for you?
Hey Richard. I am with you. I bring the tools to the work 70% of the time. The other 30% is where the trailer really shines. I love it so far . I’ve only been using it for a month so time will tell . But I think it’s a winner for me. Btw love your channel ! Hey Richard check out my latest post . There are recent changes and it’s more detailed
I wonder if there is room for a middle ground where a trailer supports the mobile workshop with table saw, miter saw, router, etc permanently on board AND having a secondary set of tools (cordless maybe?l for pulling into the jobsite with a total station or something similar? Or is this just trying to hard?
That’s what mine is. The table saw and miter saw never leave the trailer. I have another table saw in there that comes out and another miter saw that I put on a cut station that I built . Basically what you just described lol

Good job. It's given me some idea's to try on mine.
Fantastic job man. I’m always modifying my van shelving. Lots of great ideas here. That Bosch saw set up is bad ass!

Looks good. What part of the country are you in?
Thanks. The north east.
Where did you get that ramp?
I’ve had it for 20 years. But I believe you can still buy them on Amazon
