I bought a truck like this from at&t and I use it for my landscape business. Best work truck ever. I keep everything locked and organized . Plus I can charge my batteries in my cab because it came with a power inverter.
Ryobi is the IKEA of tools. Each individual tool is not the greatest, but they do make a strong system if you buy a lot of Ryobi. Also, because Ryobi is economical, it allows you to have more tools for your money. This Ryobi system is great for a handyman that needs a little bit of everything.
I agree, in the three years I've been working with them, I have only burnt out three tools. All three tools were extremely over worked in a short period of time and I should have been using a tool with a cord instead.
I hope you've invested in some good security for your truck or park it in a very secure place because it would suck to get your truck stolen or broken into. Don't buy a crap masterlock or something to protect your stuff. Lots of locks are garbage.
This is a dream truck for any handyman. Right now I'm using a single truck box which does not hold what I need. I have reconfigured 1000 times or more but I never get it right. My truck bed is open which I hate but toppers are out of my price range. Even with a single truck box loaded with tools, it feels like I am weighted down on that side. Would it be wise of me to get stiffer shocks? I have a 2001 Tundra which I love and has been good to me. I'd like to keep it then buy a used Van and build it out as you have to your F150. Thanks for the tour. As a handyman business owner, we know how to fix things but its refreshing to learn what it takes to get to the jobs and have what you need when you need it. I hate forgetting the little things that complete the jobs. Look foward to seeing more of your videos. Most guys that produce these videos like to hear themselves talk, add stupid scenes and music that make me wanna hurl.
James, thanks for the comments. check out Timbren on Amazon for your vehicle. it helped with my over load problems. Or check them out here sales@timbren.com
bite the bullet and buy a van. i worked out of my quad cab ram for years and it was such a pita. finally got a one ton express and there is simply nothing better. worth every penny
Great looking setup. Do you run into issues with your air compressor mounted in your truck, for example if you need to install some trim inside a house? You just run 200' of air hose from the truck into your work area??
I mainly use the air compressor in the truck when I set up my saws and work area by the truck. I do have a pancake air compressor that I bring inside if needed. All of my nailer's are battery powered so no need to lug the air compressor around.
Cool setup. Too bad you're getting Ryobi hater comments. I don't use the stuff myself either but who cares. I'm sure he knows what he's buying--dorks. keep it up man.
The locker-style cabinets are 12 inches deep and touch at the top of the cap, setting them 15 inches deep at the truck bed. I have built two trucks like this. The first one in the video was an oak bookshelf that I turned on its side and customized to fit. The second one I built out of plywood. The other side compartment is about the same depth. Hope this helps.
same lol 😆 but he doing better than me personally I stick to dewalt may buy other brands if dewalt doesn't sell it which is really not happening so its dewalt xr brushless Im gonna take my new helper to harbor freight and get him the Ryobi set up

I am also interested how you framed out the supports for the floor, while maintaining proper space for 4x8 sheet goods.
You have an amazing set up I love how much stuff you’re able to fit and still be organized! Keep up the good work!👏
Great video. Very helpful for setting up my truck. Awesome ideas.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you liked it.
Good vid
Thanks, I really need to do an update video, as I have tweeked a few things after using the truck for a while.

Great advice, everything on that truck is locked down including the ladders. Thanks

In this video - what is the depth of each side cabinet ?

Is the microwave sitting on a filing cabinet ?
Yes, it is an old file cabinet drawer, good eye. It was the perfect height. I just flipped it upside down.
Can you post a link to that microwave you have in the cab. What inverter did you use to run it.
Sorry for the delay, I put the link in the description.
@@edenpropertysolutions5287 thank you!
