Just learned something new about feature history, being able to drag the handle ahead of the inner cup extrusion is awesome! I love my Alibre by the way, and now I need to learn CREO. Always something new eh eh. Thx.
Thanks for the vids, I bought a Shapeoko 3 because of you! An idea for a future single long form video, would be assembling a machine then making a Fusion/Inventor part, then CAM then cut. With no cuts, we want to see the mistakes and fumbles and work flow, because that is the unknown for us. Live stream would be perfect, like Thomas Sanlander.
Anthony Bowman they still have 2 free versions, a personal (not for comercial use) and startup license, only thing is there is a verification process for the startup one.
It's free unless you are a startup making over $100k/yr, and then still free if you go through verification and are under $100k. All hobbyists, students, and educators can still use it for free indefinitely
I'm learning Alibre & just upgraded from atom3d to Pro, worth it!

What do you use Shapeoko 3 for?
This might a good option since Fusion 360 is no longer free which is very disappointing.
Did they do away with the hobbyist license? If so, have a link?

I was a fusion 360 user for almost 3 years. Switched over to Freecad, no more funny business with Autodesk being a bully, my files are my own now.

@@Seth-mb9nt Sorry that is incorrect. As they turned me down and I am only a hobbyists
Got solidworks 2007 vibe.
Wait. So I don't need to boolean join all the different pieces before adding fillets, etc.? Whoa.
is this software compatible with mac?
Sadly it is not.
It's a shame existing Shapeoko/Nomad users can't get a deal. My machine is only a few months old. :(
