    this is not that great of an idea. its at least something, but that is a HOTEL. its not designed like apartments. the walls are going to be thinner than apartments where you can hear people in the next room. anybody who has been to a hotel knows they are small and they plan to turn that small space into something that is going to supposedly house 3 people? it is good they include all bills paid but so does washington plaza apartments in fayetteville. the one thing i didnt know when i moved there was the heat and cooling was controlled by maintenance. in other words, you didnt get to pick your own temperature. but i was just starting out so thats what i had to deal with.
    the problem of this "housing crisis" is because of the investors from texas and california buying up all the land and buildings because its cheaper here than where they are from. make a law that you have to live in the place you are trying to buy land and housing from for 10 years before you can buy to use as a rental property. and 10 years for every rental property you are trying to buy to use for the purpose of renting out. the university is not helping when they buy up land and housing for the dumb students that cause the majority of the car accidents around here tied with the people from texas that move here that cant drive on a clear day much less in rain or inclement weather. locals i mean REAL locals, born and raised here need to start making it undesirable for these people to want to move here. i saw recently, the city wants water to be conserved. in my whole life living here, there has never been a time even in the hottest of summers with the least amount of rain, where we had to conserve our water. all these people moving here are taking up our water and other resources. get em out and the housing prices will go down and there will be places to live, houses to buy that are not rental properties from out of town investors and have more affordable prices. these "leaders" are going to see dollar signs and get in bed with the wrong type of people and then what is happening everywhere else is going to happen here. the drug problem and homeless problem is the worst its ever been my whole life living here. and that is because of all these people moving here from other places and the university of arkansas. walmart isnt helping much either.

    $700 per month to live in very tiny studio? This isn't a solution.

      Really ? The average 1 Bedroom in NWA cost between $1000-$1200 with nothing included ! So this is absolutely affordable!

      @LittlePieceOfHeaven. studio apartments are not a solution. Get real. I had a one bedroom in Springdale ten years ago for $350. Wages haven't increased 300%. Get real. This isn't affordable

      @@socialconservative1986 ...hmmm okay . 50% more than 10 years ago and what about 300% wages ? But I am sure with a statement like that you have the solution of less than $700 all included housing ?! Let's hear it!

    • @socialconservative1986
      @socialconservative1986 26 днів тому

      @LittlePieceOfHeaven. I said a full one bedroom apartment, not studio! That same apartment is now $1250. That's actually a 257% increase. My bad! Wages haven't come close to keeping up with that. There are plenty of solutions. Tax the living shit out of corporate owners who have purchased up most of the available inventory, both Houses and apartments. Corporate landlords and greedy real estate speculation have caused this crisis and its only going to get worse without some more regulation

      @@LittlePieceOfHeaven.65 also, you meant a 100% increase over 10 years, not 50%. Wages haven't even increased that much in 10 years
