No one should be mad at a back for leaving for the draft early. Those guys have like a 6 year life span in the nfl if they get started early and get lucky. That being said, idk about this particular case. Asinine that some fans are mad at him but this draft is so deep with backs. He may be the 10th or 11th back taken.
He only played one year for us. No hate, but no love either. Good luck with your future either way, but I don’t even consider him a dawg after just one year.
@@PickedUpABounty that’s crazy he won you a sec championship. Rb’s only last 4-6 years in the NFL if they get started early. 91% of them are broken down and retired by 28 years old if they luck out and get drafted to a situation where they can be a starter. I’m not saying he couldn’t use another year. But being mad at him is wild
Etienne didn't show me much while at Georgia. He was a disappointment. Good luck to him. We'll be fine. Hopefully Kirby will find a couple new running backs, maybe somebody who can catch a football and a few big guys for the offensive line.
@@gilllawson2214 it’s completely nerfed coaches who are elite recruiters and have recruiting as one of their best skills. I agree. They need some sort of regulation.
Etienne hurt Georgia....but these kids do not care..they look out for their own interests and future. The days of building an ethos in a college football program are about gone.
Etienne didn't hurt Georgia. This RB Room was torn to shreds, if anything he helped the Dawgs with the up and coming Nate Frazier, and also giving the Robinsons a season to heal.
@@calcobb442 he bought us time. It’s so ignorant to be mad at a back for going pro early. They only last a few years in the nfl. He won you an sec championship and bought the program time for other backs to get healthy
Red Zone is the best! I have the shirt you're wearing, Ryan. Great quality and value.

Agree 100%, obviously we'd rather him stay but definitely 1 position you can't blame for going pro early
Congratulations and good luck
Those good enough to go into the NFL draft usually do after playing college for three years.

NIL will destroy college football. I know everyone is on the pay the players wagon but at least put some guidelines in place.
