Wow the sister in the first story is so manipulative of OP and the people around her. But I don’t think that person is ready to get married let alone be a parent
Right! To threaten to have an abortion is insane. Even if she was bluffing, no one who would say or consider something like that should absolutely not be a mother. She literally throwing an extreme tantrum.
Absolutely would 100% leave that person immediately! I agree she doesn't deserve to be a mother, or to even get married. She's just trying to blackmail her sister because she's a spoiled brat who apparently needs to get everything that she wants.... Is she not thinking about what her fiance is feeling over this he wants this baby so badly and she's just threatening abortion so she could get a dress that her sister made for herself and hasn't even gotten to wear yet. Let alone trying to call her fat at 136 lb, then calling her stupid, & then saying that she could pay for everything because of her big degrees how is she stupid then? Plus what is this BS about them saying Oh it's a sisterly joke that you never understand? Wtf is that about!? What an absolute complete & total raging, gaping asshole!
Glad OP didn't give in and Lucy got just desserts. With seeing her behaviour and how her mom acts it's quite apparent that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
I think she shouldn’t give it up. You can’t budge with manipulative people, you need to uphold boundaries or they will keep up their antics and cause havoc every time they want something from you.

You don't threathen to end a pregnancy/life because you are pouting about not fitting into your own dress. So insane!

The first story. . . That sister is a manipulator. She's using her baby as a hostage to force it into bending to her will. Damn I can imagine there are many stories of sisters manipulation tactics throughout her life. Personally, I would call her bluff. While I do not agree with abortion, if the sister goes thu with one will just prove she's not fit to be a mother and also the fiance will see exactly who she is. Even if she doesn't do their with it she's definitely let her mask slip
Second story: The entire family should continue to shun those 2 sickos. The bride should never have had them in the wedding once they knew their attitude.
If I ever get married with a theme, it would be "nature". Like in a clearing in the middle of a forest, little wolfs and trees on candles, squirrels holding the name tags on the tables, invites with wild flowers... Something like that

I know from experience that you can overcome such things, but i also don't believe in having children suffer. That kid will suffer, and it is so hard to imagine how their life will be. I really hope the dad leaves and gets full custody with supervised visitation with the mom at most. She is not above harming this child for the stupidest of reasons, and that is terrifying. I wonder if the law could get involved before the birth? IE-is it possible for custody to be determined before the child is born? I just can't imagine trusting a child with such an unhinged person. Those texts alone should be proof of it. Good lord....i also don't understand how that sister thought she would get away with everything she was doing and saying. Did she think OP would stay quiet? That the fiance woulf be okay with it? The whole thing is wild.
Let’s hope that the fiancé gets full custody. OP needs to save all texts and chats so she can turn them over to him and he can show a judge just how unhinged she is. I know separating a baby from the mother is difficult at best but threatening ABORTION over FABRIC (as OP pointed out) is just batsh*t crazy.
Also I am so so sorry that you have to experience this. I have a narcissistic mother and I am adopted. I wonder a lot why she put some much time, effort and money into adopting me only to be abusive and nasty to me and my brother. Sometimes people are beyond help and understanding.
@@eXcludeyStarling It is crazy how often narcissism gets involved in the adoption process on both sides. I know it's not always this way, but I have talked to so many other adopted kids that have experienced the same thing. I am sorry you went through all that as well. No one deserves that.
To the Christian dad in the first story, if the stepmother did cheat on him, he has full Biblical grounds to get a divorce 😭😭😭he does not need to stay with this bish
Story 1: She should absolutely NOT give her the dress! Because if these are the lengths she can go to get a dress (?!) what will she do later on?! SET A BOUNDARY NOW or else she’s going to always play the ab**tion card (or worse) any time she doesn’t get her way
Story 1: Such a huge red flag. If the brother in law continues with the marriage, he deserves all the unhappiness he'll eventually experience because of that woman.
No you don't need to eat the placenta, you are not being hunted and tracked by a predator who would smell the afterbirth, and we have iron subblements if needed. 😂
First story, the BIL needs to sue for sole custody, idk if you can do that in-utero. But that child will have a miserable life being used as collateral by her mother until she can move out.
The military themed wedding: wow, what a terrible set of people. The secondhand embarrassment has me horrified. I can't even imagine... and We ABSOLUTELY love people digging into themselves. That is the most positive thing and am adopting it as my reason for all my self-discovery!
Yes people do eat placenta still! Most people these days will send it off to a company that preserves part of it as a keepsake and dries and grinds the rest into capsules that you then eat. I did it with mine and it was pretty cool. The capsules didn’t really taste like anything
If she would abort her baby over a wedding dress that she didn't pay for, pick out ,or have altered to her body she doesn't deserve to be a parent period. That trauma will follow her kid the rest of their lives and she will not stop at the dress. Lets say next year she gets pregnant again and wants your house or she'll get another abortion. Even that time her reasoning will be the same. She's a parent of 1 with a baby on the way and she needs more space for the new baby and she knows your house has the space she's looking for would you swap houses with her just to save that baby too. At some point you need to let her live her life and stay strong on your boundaries. She needs to be honest about not wanting to be a mother because anyone who truly wanted to be a parent wouldn't kill their child the first time someone told them NO after finding out they're pregnant. It won't stop at the dress it'll only get worse from there because saying yes is giving her permission
The first story is wild. The pregnant sister is crazy af. I would not give up the dress at all. And the Fiance should leave. That woman is not ready to be a mom
That sister is absolutely UNHINGED, it's so SO MANIPULATIVE to tell another soon to be bride; YOU OWE ME YOUR DRESS or else I'm going to get an abortion. You'll be killing my baby with your choice! OMG OP should just go absolutely NO CONTACT with the entire family. OP absolutely SHOULD NOT give away HER dress and the fact that you think she should is just as horrible as the rest of her flying monkeys.
I used to do measurements for tuxedo rentals at a department store out of college. There was a camouflage tux option, which was surprisingly popular. We also offered added insurance on the rentals, which was an easy sell for anyone who considered the camo suits. Customers were supposed to have them dry cleaned before returning them, but dirt bikes and pimped out tractor rides weren’t uncommon and the added insurance covered everything except for the suit not being turned in.
Step sister did not want that baby. And for her to say she will have abortion over a dress. She is not right in the head. That dress is yours and yours only.
Bro as someone quite flat and on the short side I had to have my secondhand dress altered for senior prom cause every single dress was too big or too long for me. Most were both, so bigger dresses do need alterations.
1st Story…here’s hoping OP figures out that she doesn’t need her sister or stepmother in her life and gets a lot of years of not having to look at their disgusting, manipulative, narcissistic faces. I don’t know why people think being family means you must accept all the 💩
Story 1: You do not ever allow anyone to emotionally blackmail you. They will only escalate. I personally would have called in a wellness check on her and insisted she needs a psychiatric hold.
That sister story is crazy. I’m 13 years older than my sister, 2 hormone issues on my part, so I weigh like 60 pounds more and yet measurement wise extremely close in size. She’s literally a teenager and would never say some shit like this to me because she has more awareness than OPs sister apparently has.
Oh my goodness, this 1st story sounds so much like my situation. Obviously there's a difference in my situation. But i literally got blamed for dumb shit that I'm in no way in control OR care about. Yes, i said. I don't care about, why? Because i have my own family and shit to worry about. And I'm on the other side of the hemisphere, so it's hilarious being blamed for everything. I've been gaslighted, manipulated, lied to, blamed, EVERYTHING. In front of my husband because they didn't have no shame. Long story short, i was guilted into giving up my wedding dress money to pay for mother's dental work for one of my sister's wedding event. The fucked up part is, the sister wanted her there but would try to push me to pay for dental care. It pissed me off. There's a lot of details i haven't said. It's a long ass story.
HELL NO! She should not give her the dress! That girl is NOT going to kill her baby! She’s sick and twisted and nothing is off limits to how low she will go to get her way. It’s disgusting! To manipulate someone by threatening to murder your unborn baby if you don’t give her a dress?!! The last thing you want to do is give her her way after using such an abhorrent threat.
I’d post on my Facebook that I’m giving her the dress against my will because of what she said. I’d give it to her but I’d have people knowing how she really is.
Malignant narcissists like OP's sister (story #1) are truly only happy when they make others miserable. It was her way of ruining her sister's wedding. She made her look bad in front of her family, emotionally blackmailed and manipulated her and used her abortion trauma against her to guilt-trip her. That's just beyond unhinged...
In no way, shape, or form would I give her the dress. And it isn't even about the dress, it's about the fact that my sister is willing to terminate a pregnancy that has been announced to the entire family over it because she has no interest in just buying her own dress. The sister is doing this for power. To prove she can control OP and get away with it. I know it would hurt the BIL, and that's awful, but at least he'll no longer have a tie to the sister and can have a clean break from her manipulative, narcissistic ass. Edit: okay, with the update, I'm glad Lucy is getting what she deserves. Will she learn anything from it? Probably not, as long as stepmom is enabling her. But I hope OP is okay. Abortion is not easy for those who choose it, and I wish her well.
Therew alot of good vitamins and stuff in placenta. U can put in capsule, cook it like meat and eat it and season it, boil it but it in soup, sandwiches etc
Story one: She needs to not have a child or at least raise one. She really shouldn’t have tried to procreate in the first place. Story two: OP go no contact. Live with another family member or something. That lady is crazy and honestly your sister is right on path to being exactly like her.
The half sister " Lucy" is completely unhinged. You used your unborn child that you "celebrated" as blackmail material for a unique dress?!! Nope, you do not deserve children or your fiancé. Lucy and her mom are the whole and complete AH here. Good on the (ex)fiance for confronting her and standing up for all decent humans. Brutal situation. Hope they stay in touch with the ex as he seemed like a good man
These stories were just insane. I think the last story is that woman needs to be stuck in rehab and psychological hold. The bride to be so insulted and the daughter must feel appalled and so embarrassed to be in that insane family. I did have a themed wedding ie: handfasting, medieval themed. Only the wedding party dressed. My matron also dressed the part, but the other brides maids just had just had to buy a certain color from this store (Holyclothing). My husband and his party wore black kilts and shirts with the matching blue for the tie. And guest were told to wear what they wished.
Story 1 NO, don’t give her the dress. Absolutely not. What makes you think she’s not just going to abort the baby anyways or fight the fiancée tooth and nail to have custody just to hurt him or keep him around. She’s awful. No.
Story 1: do not give your sister your wedding dress. That psychopath does not deserve to have children. If she's willing to terminate a pregnancy over, what will she do when she has a living, breathing child as a bartering chip? "Give us money or your niece/nephew will have to go up for adoption. If you loved this family you wouldn't be so stingy with your money." The fiance needs to get away as far and as fast as possible from that woman. Side note: I have never looked forward to an update less than I did in this first story. No outcome could make this a good ending.
6:56 the length of a mothers love…. From the woman who wants to terminate the pregnancy to fit in the dress. Like, I know they say (regarding Vera) that you don’t alter the dress to fit you, you alter yourself to fit the dress or something like that, but this is absolutely ridiculous
With the placenta saving it with cryo is AMAZING! Eating does absolutely nothing! But by saving it with cryo its saves the baby's stem cells and if the are ever sick for any reason they have their own stem cells to rely on. I personally looked in to this for my kids but its STUPID EXPENSIVE!
Somebody should send this to the Republican Representatives I would pay money for them to pay play this on the house of senate floor and try to use this as a dumbass reason for abortion bans 😅😅😅😅
Story 1. She should NOT give up the dress. For many reasons…manipulation, blackmail, OP spent time and money as well as it came from her imagination and exactly what she dreamed of, if she gets an abortion then it’s on her and she can’t blame anyone else, if OP gives in it shows she will always get her way if she puts enough on the line, shows she is right if she gets the dress. She is just like my 4 year old breaking something when he is mad and saying “Look what you made me do”. She is acting like a 4 year old but with way way higher stakes
The wedding dress - unpopular opinion: if those are the extremes she is willing to go to for a dress that is not hers, if she goes thorough with the termination, it would be a food thing. Could you imagine having her as a mother? She is the heartless bastard for going to those extremes just to get a dress.
First story: I don't think the sister was actually going to go through with the abortion and it was jusr a messed up way to steal the dress. If she did go through with it over a dress, that makes her a horrible person, regardless of where you stand on abortion. OP needs to simply to no contact with her sister and step mom. What horrible people.
Story 1: She should absolutely NOT give in and give her the dress. If she is seriously willing to abort her child over a piece of fabric, she does not deserve to have and raise the child. That child would deserve to be brought into the world with loving parents, and does not deserve to be born to such a POS mother.
In the last 3 or so months I have been watching more Reddit videos, especially Wedding and family disaster stories and I have read at least 3 stories like the first one. Each one was of course different and not necessarily with kids but it’s always about 2 sisters, one of which is entitled to the other (and I think all of at least 2 of them had the mother on their side) and their wedding plans (dress, venue etc) and the evil sister starts to ruin things and be publicly mean (usually, initially the family and friends are “neutral” and tell the other sister to just please her) , the sister’s fiancé breaks up with her after seeing her shameful behavior and eventually the whole (or most) family turns against her when they realise that she has gone too far, usually only after she has done something legit crazy other than just manipulation. It’s interesting to see that while men generally are not “in their best behavior” (on average, they are far “worse” than women, I wish it wasn’t like that) and can’t see clear signs in from women (even when specifically told), they see well who they are dealing with when they see how they treat other women and even apologise on their behalf to their victims. At least, before they get married/stuck with them legally; in many other stories they seem the ones to act blindsided when they see how evil their wives are on their daughters, in laws etc.
There’s no point in giving the dress to her… she shouldn’t have a need for it since fiancé should cut things off… plus you can’t reward this kind of behavior.
Story 1: yes eating the placenta is a real thing but usually it's dried out and made into a powder to pills for the mother to take. My cousin did this. And yes, the sister is a horrible person. I'm totally pro-choice, but I think wanting an abortion over a dress is insane.
For the first story, my opinion would be for OP to keep the dress and call the psych ward. Her sister is insane and is in need of help. Maybe jail. But psych ward first for sure. Anybody who is crazy enough to prioritize a piece of fabric over the life of their unborn child has some MAJOR issues.
With the first story, i wonder if the baby is even who the 'father' is supposed to be, mom-to-be sure was quick to use it as ammunition to get what she wanted. Also, i would have totally given her a fake dress. Picked one up from gumtree and been all, okay, tis yours.
Yeah in some Asian culture people eat placenta. Scientifically it’s not nutritional but people do it for cultural purposes. In China when you deliver a baby, the hospital will save your placenta for you to take home. This is to prevent malicious placenta trading. But of course what you do with your own placenta is up to you
From OP’s perspective, I’d give the dress, then take screenshots of everything and group chat it saying “this is how psychotic she is”. From Fiancé side, break up IMMEDIATELY
Wow the sister in the first story is so manipulative of OP and the people around her. But I don’t think that person is ready to get married let alone be a parent

What will she do to the baby when there is something else she wants.
She should absolutely 💯 NOT give her wedding dress no matter what fit step sister throws.
i was so mad they said she should give it up. why? just so her antics work???!!! so silly
Story 1: Maybe the stepsister didn't really want the baby and found a way to create drama to blame OP. Either way step fam is unhinged!!!
She should absolutely NOT give her the dress. That's top tier manipulating, and she should be put in her place.

For the 1st story you know OP's sister is only getting married before her to one up her.
Story No.1: Stepsister is legit psycho.
John fuck NO she should not give her the dress.
And that is called having respect for each other. 🫶🏻
Proud of the father of the baby
I would just give up the dress and cut ties for the extreme toxicity
Number 2. I love the style.
Story 1: WHAT THE FUCK?! I feel bad for OP because none of this is her fault. It's the sister's fault entirely.
I’d post on my Facebook that I’m giving her the dress against my will because of what she said. I’d give it to her but I’d have people knowing how she really is.
First story. The audacity of the sister. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Yeah I want a themed wedding. The theme is eloping.
130lb is 58.9 KGs for people like me who do not know. In which world is that FAT? 😳
Hope they stay in touch with the ex as he seemed like a good man
Ok I just subscribed but I have listened to quite a few of your shows! I didn't realize you were from Ohio. I grew up near Akron :)
Oink, oink….lol😂
I just gave birth.... no, I didn't eat the placenta... I wasn't offered the placenta... I didn't want the placenta.
Vampire themed wedding for sure
6:56 the length of a mothers love….
From the woman who wants to terminate the pregnancy to fit in the dress. Like, I know they say (regarding Vera) that you don’t alter the dress to fit you, you alter yourself to fit the dress or something like that, but this is absolutely ridiculous
If OP gives the sister the dress, than ... what's next? Because now the sister nows BLACKMAIL FUCKING WORKS. DON'T GIVE THE DRESS! Stand your ground!
1st story give the dress make sure the baby is safe then have her declared an unfit mother
Go Tammy!!!
This chick in the first story is single-handedly making the case for abortion bans.
Somebody should send this to the Republican Representatives I would pay money for them to pay play this on the house of senate floor and try to use this as a dumbass reason for abortion bans 😅😅😅😅
I'm early for once ❤️❤️ y'all are my favorite 💕😊
story 1 - i would have just said “your body your choice” and then blocked her
No! do not give her the dress!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t give the dress that behavior is unacceptable
These ones were unhinged…
I wonder they’re Asian thinking 136 pounds is fat.
Also that family is unhinged.
There’s no point in giving the dress to her… she shouldn’t have a need for it since fiancé should cut things off… plus you can’t reward this kind of behavior.
major manipulation on the sister's part. I hope OP doesn't cave
But of course what you do with your own placenta is up to you
Appreciate yall 🎉❤
From OP’s perspective, I’d give the dress, then take screenshots of everything and group chat it saying “this is how psychotic she is”. From Fiancé side, break up IMMEDIATELY
