Lovely comment please ignore the wheelchair bound comment u write how u want to write things because this is your page wheelchair bound/ wheelchair user what’s the difference he needs a wheelchair to get himself around and he does so brilliantly I love seeing it the therapy u and hunter do with him and all his exercises I believe he will progress later in life as I said before my cousin is now 30 he was born starved of oxygen so has Cerebral palsy, he was non verbal, tube fed, deaf, and had an operation like Beckham at 6 but at 20 was in a cast for a year had every bone broke and reset a big decision but now now wheel chair walks dragging his leg countered at our big supermarket and they offered him a job he is in pure pain when he’s finished he obviously only does 2/3 hrs a day but that’s his independence and loves pay day him a 5 friends with disabilities go to watch their local team play football every Saturday and 2 pints each after at family parties he’s first in dance floor and last off to think he was on oxygen however many hours he slept at night, no Longer needs that and has hearing aids he can talk to us and listen and we understand even if at times there’s mis communication he laughs about it he won’t let him hold him back and was determined like Beckham when he was Beckham age I Think of him and always think of Beckham being like him in the future I wish I could send u the video his mum has of his life birth to 30 I told her to reach out to u and she said it’s sensitive for some but if u wanted too she would of course reach out u would not believe the video I think it would give u so much hope xxxx Take care Hughes family your great all of u xxxx ❤❤❤❤

It is so cool to see Beckham able to be soo independent enjoying the museum. If you ever seriously contemplate moving to Arizona, you will want to investigate school/ services/ medical care for Beckham. It may not be as good as what you are getting in Utah.

I remember Beckham learning to sit up with pillows around him. Today he was a bad ass sitting up to get dressed. It was like nothing to him. When all who have watched him progress know it was the biggest challenge! ❤
Beckham is not a toddler anymore. Toddler is ages 1-3. Blakely won't be a toddler anymore soon. Isn't that wild! So glad you and the kids had a great time at the kids museum! 💕
1 year old is still considered a baby Toddler ages is 1-4

Hi Rachel it's hard to believe that 3 years have gone by since I saw your first video. Beckham was cruising around the Children's Museum as if he owned the place. I loved when he stopped to look at himself in the mirror. That was priceless! You two are the best parents and I always look forward to your videos.
Have you thought about equine therapy for Beckham? I have disabilities myself & over here in the UK, we have an organisation called Riding for the Disabled. A good place, like Riding for the Disabled will have staff to help Beckham while on the horse. Equine therapy, known as riding therapy here in the UK, is good for things like balance, muscle strength in the legs, etc. And of course there's the therapy of being with an animal. Horses & ponies used by good therapy centres are chosen for their calm, gentle temperament. Horses are highly intuitive & know when someone needs that extra care. Highly recommend.

I'm wondering why you chose the phrase "wheelchair bound" when Beckham is so free and happy when he's in his wheelchair. I've been hoping to leave the phrase in the distant past for 20 years.
Agree. It's very abelist. Much better terms can be used to describe someone who uses a wheelchair.
He's growing up so fast!!! I love watching him in his wheelchair, he's gotten so good at maneuvering it!!! They seemed like they loved the museum!!

He's not wheelchair bound. Please don't use that phrase. It's very abelist. He's a wheelchair user, gets around with one etc. he's so cute and looked like he had so much fun. He's getting around so amazing with his wheelchair. It really helps him explore his world more!

I would love you have a respond from the house of Hughes one day it would make my day I’ve been struggling with alot of trauma this year my grandparents house burnt down my grandfather passed away and my grandma is in the hospital fighting for her life it would make my day if you saw this and responded. I love seeing him explore. He looks so independent. But I noticed that he doesn’t touch his feet to the footrest anymore. Is his legs tightening up again or was this just a harder day in terms of tightening muscles. I guess I’m just worried that his surgery might be wearing off if that’s possible.

It is very obvious that he just loves the freedom his wheelchair allows him to achieve!
Have you talked with Beckham wheelchair provider about getting him a calf strap to put in front of his legs so they don’t come out of his feet plate and give him more support I have CP and that is what I had to do for years

If y’all move anywhere, it can be somewhere in Alabama cause I would really love to see Becca, but the county Public school system policy has gotten so crazy like he’ll have to wear collared shirts, which is kind of illegal in my eyes like it’s unconstitutional to have people wear collared shirts when they don’t really like collared shirts, I feel like they’re so restrictive I feel more comfortable in a T-shirt

I suffered OCD so severe for years it affected my and my children's life really so awful . This isn't just being fussy this it is debilitating. I have been on medication now for fifteen years and the difference is life changing. People say oh you can come off your medication now you're better. Like having any illness like diabetes epilepsy or some other. I tried to come off it twice and never again my psychiatrist says I need it for life. So people please don't suffer you can be helped greatly. My son said it was like I was born again into the mum I always should have been x
