Ann is so freaking wholesome. Her son is just like.. yeah I'd prefer not to eat it I don't really like these chocolates
And her responses basically like "oh yeah I forgot"
Unlike a bunch of other parents on UA-cam that would pressure their children to do something they didn't want to do she was basically just like, Oh that's fine.
I love Ann but that's a very, very low bar to clear

What’s the name of this song?? 7:36 I can’t find it anywhere lol
It doesn't count as a music recommendation, when neither the band/singer nor the song title is mentioned anywhere :( There was a piece of music in another video of hers I really liked and would've loved to have but it was instrumental (no lyrics to search) and no music was mentioned in the description. I wish the copyright laws were much more laxed in terms of usage (not including uploading/usage of full, unedited songs, obviously), as it advertises the song to new audiences who'd otherwise not even know it existed but then at the same time, it should then be a requirement to at least credit the artist, even if not the name of the song.

@@IoEstasCedonta The most chocolate M&M's thumb-catapulted in one minute is 9 and was achieved by David Reardon (Australia), in Lilydale, Australia, on 2 October 2022. The previous record of 4 had stood for 20 years!
For so many of these eating records there's a psychological barrier where, in order to go quickly enough, you have to accept that you won't be able to actually enjoy the food you're eating, and I feel like you can see your boys coming to that realization in the middle of each challenge and deciding they would rather taste their ferrero rocher or chocolate orange instead of breaking some record!
i'm sure a bunch of them involve being able to swallow without chewing at all or choking which definitely takes some... uh, practice.

Needs to use only the thumb though... Its far more difficult than just and under arm toss as shown in the vid.
Yup and that verifier would count zero since there was not thumb catapulting there but arm toss. But still I'm entertained so yay!! HAHA

@@franckmercier-cotnoir4369 Yeah, it was entertaining as all get out to watch, but that wasn't thumb catapulted, that was tossed. What I'm really impressed by is this family's ability to consume chocolate. Two of those chocolate orange slices would leave me feeling like I was dying.
This was an oddly random, but I liked it.
I like that I'm often surprised by what content you put out there, your channel never gets stale.

I adore how you've made us all fall in love with your whole family without being a family blog channel. You're videos, no matter the topic, always entertain and inform in such a fun way. Thank you and God bless!
What Anne does so differently is that the primary reason people watch this channel is NOT for her kids, but for her, and the kids make appearances sometimes. Those family blog channels’ primary lures are their kids. The different focus allowed for more authenticity and no exploitation, unlike the family blog that would sink if the kids weren’t in an episode. Anne does it right.
I imagine the thumb catapulting one has to be without moving your arm, otherwise it is a bit too easy. World records usually are anything but easy.

Tell that to several of the gaming records. Largest freestanding Minecraft staircase can be beaten by most people with like 10 minutes of practice.
no, actually we checked the Guiness Record & watched the video ... it's just like Dave did :) The container had to be a specific size too ... we did it all according to their rules. 😃
'World records are usually anything but easy' is what guinness would like very much for everyone to believe. In actuality, they're a private firm with a good veneer of impartiality, but the records are for marketing and promotion. If you contact guinness world records with the money, they'll help you find a record you can own. I primarily learned about this through HBomberguy's video 'oof.mp3', but that's a long one. If you have the time, I recommend it, but you may find yourself *significantly* less impressed by people with fancy guinness plaques, haha
I love that James went to the effort of unwrapping it to participate even though he didn't want to eat it, you have such a wholesome family.
This was so much fun! I was smiling through the whole video. For anyone else curious (the card at 5:20 was the wrong one), the most strawberries dipped in chocolate in one minute is apparently 59!

Even though I love the debunking videos I do miss recipes for cakes, chocolate, and desserts and I think it would be really good if you kept the debunking videos and getting Dave to cook because those are so good but maybe throw in a recipe every second video or so because they are Amazing

This is the first time I've heard of chocolate oranges! They don't sell those where I live but I'd certainly like to try one!
The best part of chocolate oranges is that they come with the segments attached to each other so to get them apart you get the WHACK it on the table before you open it. Otherwise it just tastes like orange flavored chocolate (which is also good!)

Where do you live? The Terry's chocolate oranges are British so they should be fairly easy to ship if you order one online.

I'd suggest peanut or almond M&Ms for the thumb catapult one. More weight means more control of the direction. Dave being the absolute champion that he is did it on a bit of a breeze too. Nicely Done!

I seriously thought their stomachs were going to hurt afterwards! This was awesome! What a great memory you all have doing this together!
I want to thank you so much for showing me that cooking isn't something to be anxious about. I'd only ever microwaved things before, but had to start cooking on my own. Anxiety had me frozen, staring at the ingredients every day, swearing to use them "tomorrow". I've been watching your videos for a while now and started back. Hey Anne I'm 20 now, and grew up watching you, and imitating your videos, you have thought me so much about cooking, I love it to this day and I can confidently cook most dishes that are requested due to the base skills I learned from you. I enjoy watching videos of your family because it looks like everybody is really enjoying themselves. I hope that none of your kids ever feel forced to be on the videos and that you guys have fun moments like this but with no cameras around.
