Those little fold up clocks are called travel clocks that’s what men back in the day we traveled a lot it would bring so at the hotel they could put it alarm on. I had a neighbor gave me one before he passed away about 20 years ago.
Julie, I did a New Years themed tree a few years back for our party, and I had a bunch of those little clocks, so I tucked them in the branches with ornaments and 1 large clock. It was very festive.
Oh my GOODNESS……all the items outside …..drool drool drool !!! Those Bistro Sets, THE TERRA COTTA POTS, the iron pieces…. STOP !!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Fabulous sale ❤️❤️🌲🌲❤️❤️
So much fun looking when the house is full of vintage and antique finds! Good stuff! I liked the quail pillow but really hard to choose. The large wire baskets outside could be filled with greenery branches and pine cones for winter and maybe just set a flowering basket or fern in there in summer. Buy now, figure it out later is my motto 😂
*Julie, you crack me up; I really L❤️VE your enthusiasm❣️* *NOT being critical; just want to let you know that the bird figurines and pictures that you thought were pheasants are actually BOBOLINK QUAILS. 😉 If you put that ⬆️⬆️⬆️ in your search bar with the word images, you will see some pretty pictures of them. Like pheasants, they are common birds in the Midwest. 😊 Male pheasants are much more colorful, and the females are similar in coloring to the bobolink quails, but pheasants have REALLY LONG TAILS - as long as their bodies.😉 There is no reason for you to be familiar with these birds, growing up in Louisiana like you did, so I thought I would share this information with you since I am from the Midwest, and grew up in a hunting and fishing family. 😃😁🤎* *I am SO GLAD you got THE TREE for your daughter's room❣️ It is a dogwood tree. Dogwood trees come with either white 💮 or pink 🌸flowers.💕* *The little cement statue LOOKS JUST LIKE WRYN - what a CUTIE 💓 she is❣️💕* *Everything you got today was wonderful‼️🥰 I wish you would have had a spot in your home for that GORGEOUS WASH STAND...and for ONLY $50.00⁉️‼️⁉️ WOWZA, WHAT A ●STEAL● THAT PRICE WAS‼️❣️‼️💜🤎💜*
That Estate sale had so many amazing items! That little cement girl was a no brainer, $5! She was perfection! I was going to say the bird statue and bird pillow were Quail. We call them "Bobwhite" (quail) but there are probably different types. Pheasant have long tail feathers. Love your videos.
I think you might be mixing up your birds - Quails are small game birds that belong to the same family as pheasants. They are known for their petite size and delicate features. Unlike pheasants, quails have a more subdued coloration, with mottled brown feathers that provide excellent camouflage in their natural habitats.
Julie, amazing 😅. The white flowered tree is dogwood. Virginias (likely some other states) state flower. The mountains are gorgeous with dogwood, redbud & mt.laurel in the spring. Check the legend of this tree on line (something you’d enjoy). Elizabeth
The West coast has folks that grow orchids. When I walked into a ORCHID show my life was changed. Nothing made by humans will ever compare to such variety as what flowers HEAVEN creates.
Oh my heavens - what a terrific Estate Sale! They had so many really amazing things, and the prices were unreal they were so low. I really don’t know what you got that I liked best, but it’s probably a toss up between the little concrete girl and that outdoor piece that would stand fine without the base. I absolutely loved the patina on it and the fact it was so unusual. Everything you got was remarkable however.
WHOA!!! 🎉 What a fantastic sale!!! A ton of good treasures! (All but them clowns! Haha! I’m terrified of clowns😂) I’m sure they for somebody tho. PeeWees Big Top Adventure ruined me on clowns 😂 Imma need you to turn around and go back and get them doll heads. Please and thank you. LOL! The stuff outside was the BEST!! All that rust and patina 🙌🏻
I have an easel like that. Got it at Michael's in the early 90's and it was costly then! Mine could be a reproduction. IDK By the way Dept. 56 is collectible!
My favorite is all the things on the rusty shelves that had the beautiful patina. That’s definitely something you can’t recreate, although the Dixie Belle patina sprays do wonderfully, but you can’t get any prettier than that.
It’s funny how some people see deals and I see another clean out job! You can’t get rid of 95% of that stuff where I live for free, which is, I suppose, why I’m in the clean out business!!! I see many, many trips to the landfill… 😂😂😂
The paper vase shaped item is actually a paper hat.😮
Vintage Christmas sells ALL year.
Those little fold up clocks are called travel clocks that’s what men back in the day we traveled a lot it would bring so at the hotel they could put it alarm on. I had a neighbor gave me one before he passed away about 20 years ago.
My grandad had one!
My mom had an old mixer like those. She got it for her wedding and it still worked when she decided to pass in on. (Mom is 93)!
My mom had a traveling alarm clock just like those that we used on family trips in the mid '70s. Now you know how old those are. Ugg, and me too. 😂
I would keep the bells on the music sign. I recently sold a heart shaped one, and it sold quickly and for a good price.

Love the Dogwood tree
I work in a Clock Shop. The Travel Alarm Clocks make great Picture Frames.

Fabulous sale ❤️❤️🌲🌲❤️❤️
I loved the bunny planter outside. He would've had to come home with me.
I loved the tall carved 🎅 too. Thanks for taking us along.
You made out like a bandit! That little girl statue was my favorite!
Those 2 rusty things that were out on the patio (different heights) would look beautiful with some ferns in those! Great goodies! I loved it.
So much fun looking when the house is full of vintage and antique finds! Good stuff!

I would grab all the pots and that girl !!
The white tree is dogwood.
My faves were the travel clocks and the cement little girl. She was the score of the day for sure!
The white tree was a dogwood tree. The state flower of my state, NC.
The little cement girl is adorable!❤
Julie!!! Those are dern quails not pheasants!!! Hahahahaha
I love those little old clocks. My grandma had one and I always thought it was so neat how it folded up.
Julie, that signed Santa statue is Ephraim pottery and worth A LOT of money in resale! The signature is "Ephraim". You struck gold!!!!
No way can I pick a favorite item. That estate sale was loaded with great item, and the prices were excellent!

You could put a transfer on the heavy iron. I've never seen one painted. At most, people just repaint them black. I am glad I found your site. Laura
I like everything you got. I love every piece you got from the patio. I probably would have gotten some are all of the bird houses.
😊❤what a great sale. I love all the prices you got
How fun.
My favorite items are the little girl garden statue and the white flower tree.
My favorite was the little folding clocks.
Hi Julie, love your channel the tall wire stands are for flowers. They stick the flowers in them and arrange them. At funerals.

Wow, the amount of stuff is overwhelming. Some good finds. However, I feel for the family members that have this home to sort out.
I made one of those large flower arrangements in the early 90s

Those 2 outdoor wire holders could be for funeral sprays
Or fern stands...

Yup...dogwood. I have a few in my yard. I'm from British Columbia and it is also our provincial flower. =)

One man’s junk is another man’s treasures..? Is that the way it goes. I love estate sales .
Schmid is an old brand. I had a Santa with a reindeer and broke a piece off..made me sick
❤❤❤
everything is overpriced
Your pheasant is a quail, the caddies are cruet sets. Mind numbingly boring.
