Cool Beans!!!👍👍👍 This is the Second video that I watched from you 'Scotterz Models'!!!😁 Nice build, I see that you used that 'Flory' Black Wash.....wished that you showed how to apply and remove, You Really apply it Quite liberally!! I see that THIS kit has its Own wing fold...no need for a "wing fold Upgrade".....wonder if My 1/72 scale has a detailed option?? Got to look
Thanks for that! The Flory model wash is a clay based wash. Just spread it on, let it dry and remove excess with a damp paper towel. It sits nicely in the recessed panel lines. Way faster than using a panel liner.
@@ScotterzModelz It seems that on your a-c (aircraft) it doesn't come out ~too well~ on the gray portions of your a-c, but does stick out/around a bit on the white undersides. Am I seeing that correctly?? I 'Plan'....to show off the NIMITZ CVW of the early 80s with ALL of there a-c WITH it a 700 scale NIMITZ build. The NIMITZ build should be relatively easy.......having all of the other planes......... Just saw your 'Channel' and your work..... Very Cool Stuff, quite a few things I like.....I'm 'Subscribing'!!!
@@Hey_MikeZeroEcho22P The wash works better in deeper panel lines and sometimes I get the towel a bit too wet and it takes off a lot of wash. BTW I just sub'd on your channel as well. Us Navy Modelers gotta stick together! ATCS retired sends....
@@ScotterzModelz Cool Beans!!! I'm a Fellow OS1....84 - 05.... Mostly on FF/FFGs!!! I'm TRYING....to finish a 'Hobby Boss' 35 Leo2 AVLB, down to the paint job....but Work is getting in the way!!
@@Hey_MikeZeroEcho22P Ha - we definitely served at the same time. 83-09. Reg Nav for 4yrs then went TAR. West Coast. NAS Miramar, Lemoore and North Island. F-14s, F-18s and C-9s.
I can't recall exactly what color of grey it recommended, but I took some "artistic liberty" and went with the Dark gull gray. In retrospect probably could have went with the light.

Stunning. Your Corsair is a gem! Talk about Kismet... my Corsair F4U (1942) from Tamiya just arrived in the mail today. Model on!
Thanks! I look forward to seeing your completed (old school) Corsair on here soon!
