How to Change Fitbit Versa 2 Band

- Follow along as I show you how to do a Fitbit Versa 2 band change. This includes how to remove Fitbit Versa 2 band and how to replace Fitbit Versa 2 band. These instructions also work for the original Fitbit Versa as well as the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition.

Note: Any band that fits Fitbit Versa 2 will fit the entire Fitbit Versa Family (including Fitbit Versa 2 Special Edition, Fitbit Versa, Fitbit Versa Special Edition, and Fitbit Versa Lite Edition).

This worked! I was so upset that my emerald Fitbit band tore. I replaced it with a Heyday Fitbit band from Target. This demonstration was perfect. Thank you so much!
I just tried putting the bands on and I got frustrated as well. It doesn't look that simple but I'm gonna keep practicing your method just in case in the event I have to change it out. But thank you for the tutorial it really helped!
The key is to put the band in at an angle like she says! I was trying to put it in at a straight angle and it was taking forever. As soon as you put the top pin in have the band curved not straight out. That's the only way it'll pop in. Happy smart watch friends 😊

this is my third Fitbit and I've never had this much trouble! I broke the default band and im so mad bc now I have to buy a black one. but thank you for this! pushing the pin downwards is the most helpful part. these are tricky

Amazing - thank you! To anyone who's struggling, the trick really is the angle part. Mine seemed like it would never fit, but when it's at the 45 degree angle, it was easy. No need for a second person.

JexiFairy mine works with my iPhone just fine. All my FitBits have. I also have an AppleWatch.

The advice of having the band at an angle, is the key, saw 3 videos before this and nobody mentioned the angle. That made all the difference in the world.

This is a horrible design so super difficult to replace the band. It is one of the reasons I decided to buy a Apple Watch which by the way was $50.00 less then the new Fitbit. Get the series 3 Apple Watch it so much better then the Fitbit and to replace the band is so very easy.
You would think they would put the large band on when you buy it i hope it is. Easy when i do it im really good at electronics im good at it i set up my charge 3. So wish me luck on the versa 2 when i buy it im going to set it up whenever i want to maybe on the weekend. Like. Saturday or Sunday but remember guys always keep your fitbit charge 3. Im going to have both. 2
Interesting Kelsey. I will watch this again after i buy it. I have the app. I just have to. Set up another device. Then Bluetooth it. And it will set it up for me the hard part will be setting up the alexa part but i will figure it out. Thanks Kelsey you are helpful

Inserting the second pin is more than "a little finicky" - it seems to have a design flaw. Thanks for the tip about "inserting the band at an angle" - but why doesn't FitBit provide this crucial piece of info in their directions!? Anyhow, thanks for this video.

This was the second video that I watched after trying to replace the band without instructions from Fit it (none were included in the replacement band pouch).
The key is the angle of the band to the mounting point as if you will note the band dies not lay flat once mounted.
Like most men, I said piece of cake.
But alas, if I had noted how the band fits into the body of the watch - the angle - I would have been able to it.
The first video did not say anything about the angle of attachment!
