Thank you so much. This really helped me. You nailed it when you said "the trick is that it has to be at an angle". This was the perfect piece of information needed for me. Thank you!
This worked! I was so upset that my emerald Fitbit band tore. I replaced it with a Heyday Fitbit band from Target. This demonstration was perfect. Thank you so much!
The advice of having the band at an angle, is the key, saw 3 videos before this and nobody mentioned the angle. That made all the difference in the world.
Thank you so much for this! The FitBit video has comments turned off--not surprisingly because they show an easy off and on procedure. When you explained the angle, it made all the difference. Was a very frustrating experience and glad I found you.
Amazing - thank you! To anyone who's struggling, the trick really is the angle part. Mine seemed like it would never fit, but when it's at the 45 degree angle, it was easy. No need for a second person.
You saved me pulling my hair out.The angle was the key. I was messing with it for over an hour and broke both thumb nails trying...THANK GOODNESS for your video!!!
Finicky or not, thank you! Thank you for the detail, patience and easy repetiveness of your expertise. What l really want to say is, "the demonstration you provided was the best!"
this is my third Fitbit and I've never had this much trouble! I broke the default band and im so mad bc now I have to buy a black one. but thank you for this! pushing the pin downwards is the most helpful part. these are tricky
Thank you was given a versa 2 for Christmas and went to change to a spare band I bought. The angle is key this video saved loads of frustration switching bands.
Thank you! This video solved this for me and made this process a lot easier. NOTE to anyone out there struggling- please make sure you remove the old silver pins that are stuck in the watch. I didn't realize that at first.
I echo everyone who has praised this video for providing actually helpful instructions. No troubleshooting guide or other video helped. It’s all about the angle and you pointed that out. Once I became aware of this critical tip, it finally went in after trying for over an hour and a half! Thank you!!
Thank you so much. The "trick" that the band has to be at an angle is exactly what I was missing! Surprisingly, I watched two other how to videos first and neither one mentioned it has to be at an angle - no wonder it wasn't working. Thank you!
This was the second video that I watched after trying to replace the band without instructions from Fit it (none were included in the replacement band pouch). The key is the angle of the band to the mounting point as if you will note the band dies not lay flat once mounted. Like most men, I said piece of cake. But alas, if I had noted how the band fits into the body of the watch - the angle - I would have been able to it. The first video did not say anything about the angle of attachment! Great job! Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video. I've spent well over an hour today trying to fit a replacement band, with no success and lots of frustration. You've made my day, new band has now been fitted!
Thank you! I didn't even attempt to look at the official instructions after seeing others complain. Yours was the first video that came up when I searched UA-cam and I went for it. So easy!
Strap was damaged so ordered new ones from Amazon. Watched this video and was able to remove the old strap and replace with the new strap. Appreciate your help-thank you!!
I just tried putting the bands on and I got frustrated as well. It doesn't look that simple but I'm gonna keep practicing your method just in case in the event I have to change it out. But thank you for the tutorial it really helped!
You’re awesome! I was killing myself trying to get this thing to go in and the key to it is what you just relayed in the vid “at an angle“ is the key, it made all the difference in the world!
I'm glad that you mentioned that it has to be at an angle to make it work. Some of the other videos didn't mention that. My finger nail is hurting me... thanks 😊
thank you so much for this!! i’ve been trying to put mine back on for the past 25 minutes and i got it within a minute after watching your video, seriously thought i was dumb for a second lol
Thank you! I'm posting so you know that even now, more than a year later, your video is still helping!! The instructions that came with my band replacement were totally worthless!
just got myself a new band, was getting frustrated and struggling with changing the bloody things, watched your video and did straight after that....thank you
Thanks for taking the time to post this video! It was very helpful. I could not get the new band on so I put the old one back on. I came to the conclusion my next band needs to be thinner & more flexible. But I will keep trying!!
THANK YOU! Yours was the 4th video I watched. It was the only one that showed the trick: the angle of insertion on the replacement band. Thanks again and well done!
Excellent explanation. You just removed and replaced a band several times successfully, which gives me confidence. As soon as I received my Versa 2, I immediately ordered several nice bands for it. First try, could not get it go to on ... I panicked and then spent 35 minutes just to get the ORIGINAL on back on (so at least I'd have a watch). Have been to afraid to try it since, your video has given me renewed courage.
This was the 2nd video that I looked at. Was still having issues with the first one. Getting off was easy. Putting new one on was difficult. Your explanation did the trick. Thanks,
Bravo! Thanks for this. I just got a Versa 2 today and was having problems. It says hold at an angle in directions but isn't as clear as what you demonstrated. Thanks for this and your video is much better than Fitbit's demonstration video for this same purpose.
Thank you so much for the video. Helped me get my bands back on at least. The end of the video with the much easier band replacements definitely are making me regret my Versa 2 purchase - the bands shouldn't be this hard to change!
video is perfect, I was super hesitant changing my watch band because friends said it was such a pain; watched this video, and had the new strap on, within a couple minutes. great job op
This video literally just helped me so much! I've had my Fitbit versa 2 since early December, and I have changed my band before, but I just installed a new band, and couldn't for the life of me get the band in until I watched this video!
Thanks for the video - finally after must frustration I found your vid and 2 minutes in I had the band on. The angle of the band and then using your thumb to hold the pin ahhh that was the magic bit. Thanks again
Omg! Thank you! Finally I found a video that actually shows it. Been struggling putting the band on, almost gave up lol. Thanks for this video! Saved my life 😆
Watched one other vid which some claim was a godsend, but they failed to mention the angle! The angle is the most important part of the replacement. So thank you for your vid!
Thank you sososososo much the angle thing rly helped. I spent like an hour trying to get it in with the help of other videos but they didn’t say the angle thing. You did and this really helped so thank you!!
OMG THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I was trying to change my band and I couldn’t get the new one on and I got so upset and then ami saw this video and it fixed all my problems.
The "angle" tip was the best and the most important! I've watched so many videos and not one person mentions it. Thanks for this demo!!
You’re welcome! 😊
Thank you so much. This really helped me. You nailed it when you said "the trick is that it has to be at an angle". This was the perfect piece of information needed for me. Thank you!

Glad you finally got it in!
Yes!!!! Me too! The angle is KEY!!
I just STRUGGLED for 30 mins, almost in tears trying to put the band back on. Thank you SOOO much for this video.
You’re so welcome 😊
Without watching this, I don’t know if I would have ever figured it out. Thank you
You’re welcome 😊

Yes, you put the band at the 45 degree angle, it works. Very frustrating otherwise.

jomanah saeed you get mad fast then.
jomanah saeed same!
Same here 🤣
jomanah saeed bro I legit just dropped it and took it to jb for accidental damage warranty lol
Me too! 😭
You saved me pulling my hair out.The angle was the key. I was messing with it for over an hour and broke both thumb nails trying...THANK GOODNESS for your video!!!
Sorry to hear about your thumbnails (ouch!). I’m so glad my video helped you 😊
Finicky or not, thank you!
Thank you for the detail, patience and easy repetiveness of your expertise.

You’re welcome and thank you for the compliment. I truly appreciate it 😊
this is my third Fitbit and I've never had this much trouble! I broke the default band and im so mad bc now I have to buy a black one. but thank you for this! pushing the pin downwards is the most helpful part. these are tricky
Your illustration was the easiest I have found. The way you described, putting it at an angle helped tremendously. Thanks so much.
You’re welcome 😊
lifesaver-thank you for this! bought one for my son's 14th birthday and we couldn't get it on until after watching this video.
so complicated but I did was able to change my watch's strap. thanks for the help 😊 Merry Christmas 👌
Thank you was given a versa 2 for Christmas and went to change to a spare band I bought. The angle is key this video saved loads of frustration switching bands.
You’re welcome 😊
Two days I tried on and off to unsuccessfully change the band...until i found your video! You are my hero!!
Thank you for the kind words 🙏😊
I was switching out a woven band for my original pink band. And I thought I was gonna die or break a nail - thank you for these great instructions!!
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you! This video solved this for me and made this process a lot easier. NOTE to anyone out there struggling- please make sure you remove the old silver pins that are stuck in the watch. I didn't realize that at first.

Thank you! Just got my Versa 2 on Sunday and just today tried removing and replacing the band. Thanks for that ANGLE tip. It was driving me crazy! Lol
You’re welcome! 😊
Yes; it was angle tip that did it!
Thank you for this video. The Fitbit instructions were terrible. This seems to be stupidly hard to change. Thanks though for showing how it works.
Agreed thanks for the tip on the correct angle. My fingertips were literally bleeding from my previous attempts!
Oh my god I almost threw my Fitbit trying to do this. THANK YOU!
You’re welcome! 😊
Thanks! I was having the hardest time, watched your video and band is now on! :-)
Thank you so much for making this video. I've spent well over an hour today trying to fit a replacement band, with no success and lots of frustration. You've made my day, new band has now been fitted!
You’re so welcome. I’m so glad my video helped you. Thanks for letting me know. It makes my day 😊
you are literally the only video i found that mentioned the angle of the band and it saved my sanity
I’m so glad my video helped you when no other video could 😊

Just got a replacement Versa 2 watch and struggled to reconnect my strap until I watched this video, thank you all done now,
You’re welcome 😊
I just tried putting the bands on and I got frustrated as well. It doesn't look that simple but I'm gonna keep practicing your method just in case in the event I have to change it out. But thank you for the tutorial it really helped!
Seriously everyone made it look so easy. The dang clips were making me pull my hair out. The "angle" part got it on the money. Thank you!!🙌🏽
You’re welcome 😊
omg thank you. was about to throw this thing in the bin. Even my local watchmaker couldn’t work it out.
You’re welcome!
You’re awesome! I was killing myself trying to get this thing to go in and the key to it is what you just relayed in the vid “at an angle“ is the key, it made all the difference in the world!
I'm so glad my video helped you! 😊
QUEEN of helping consumers with Fitbit products, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You’re so welcome! And thank you for the high praise 😊
Thank you very much! Instructions from FitBit were typically unhelpful. You on the other hand, are a legend! Thanks.
You’re very welcome! 😊
Oh man, I had been trying this for crazy long. You saved me with "the trick is, it has to be at an angle". Thank you!
You’re welcome! 😊
I'm glad that you mentioned that it has to be at an angle to make it work. Some of the other videos didn't mention that. My finger nail is hurting me... thanks 😊
You’re welcome 😊

Great instructions...My fingers were bleeding but the angle tip worked really well.
I'm so glad my video helped you 😊
Perfect! The trick really was putting the band in at an angle and not flat. Thank you!
You’re welcome! 😊
Thanks for taking the time to post this video! It was very helpful. I could not get the new band on so I put the old one back on. I came to the conclusion my next band needs to be thinner & more flexible. But I will keep trying!!

Great video I was so confused until I watched your video and was able to do it right away.
Glad to hear it!
Thank you for this. Thousand times more informative than Fitbit support.
You’re welcome 😊
Spent ages trying to put on new band. The angle was the bit I wasn't thinking about. Thanks, video was perfect. Easy to change bands now.
You're welcome. I'm so glad my video helped you 😊
I’ve been struggling with my watch bands for at least 10 minutes. Thank god for this video because I thought I would have to return this thing.
I’m so glad you found it helpful!
This is the THIRD video that i watched! Your explicit instructions were perfect! You are a wonderful teacher! Thanks! 😃
THANK YOU! Yours was the 4th video I watched. It was the only one that showed the trick: the angle of insertion on the replacement band. Thanks again and well done!
You’re welcome! 😊

Glad I could help. Hope it’s getting easier to be successful (even if not on the first try).
This was the 2nd video that I looked at. Was still having issues with the first one. Getting off was easy. Putting new one on was difficult. Your explanation did the trick. Thanks,
You're welcome 😊
Five years later - still helpful. Thank you!
You're welcome! 😊
Many thanks for the instructions! 😊
You’re welcome! 😊
Fricken praise the lord for this video 😂
She explained how to replace the band WAY better then the last video I watched! The key is to ANGLE the band. Thank you for your video!
Amen
Bravo! Thanks for this. I just got a Versa 2 today and was having problems. It says hold at an angle in directions but isn't as clear as what you demonstrated. Thanks for this and your video is much better than Fitbit's demonstration video for this same purpose.
The angle really helped me get it. Thank you
Fitbit should pay you for making this video. I ruined my thumbnail trying to get a new band on, til I finally looked up this video. Thank you so much!
Sorry to hear about your thumbnail. I’m glad my video helped you! And thanks for the kind words 😊
You have no idea how long I’ve been trying to get this on! Thank you!
You're welcome! 😊
Thank you so much for the video. Helped me get my bands back on at least.
The end of the video with the much easier band replacements definitely are making me regret my Versa 2 purchase - the bands shouldn't be this hard to change!
You’re so welcome 😊
It's all about the angle! Took me so many attempts to change the bands, thanks a bunch for this video!
You’re welcome!
video is perfect, I was super hesitant changing my watch band because friends said it was such a pain; watched this video, and had the new strap on, within a couple minutes. great job op

Holy cow, thanks! I would have never thought to move the band at an angle!
You’re welcome!
Been trying to replace the strap...frustrated. Then found your video...the angle was the key. Thank you!!
You’re welcome!
The angle did the trick! Thank you for these clear instructions
You're welcome! 😊

You’re welcome!
Thank you so much!

The angle was what I was missing. 🥰
You’re so welcome! 😊

You’re welcome 😊
Thanks. Your video was explicit and made replacing the band easy.
You're welcome 😊
God bless you!!!! I tried 3 videos that did nothing but when you said the angle it was a game-changer. Now. I am a pro thanks to you
I’m so glad my video helped you! Thanks so much for letting me know 😊
Watched one other vid which some claim was a godsend, but they failed to mention the angle! The angle is the most important part of the replacement. So thank you for your vid!
You’re welcome 😊
thank you so much for showing the difficultly and that you need to put the second pin in at an angle - the other videos i watch did not tell me this!
You’re so welcome! 😊
I went back to the store 2 times! No one could get it done. Nightmare - thanks so much for your video 👍🏻
You’re welcome!
Thank you. Watched another video and they didn’t mention having the band at an angle. That was the key 👍
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you so much! I watched three other videos and only these instructions actually worked.
You're welcome! 😊
Your a lifesaver! - I didn’t know I had to angle it and was trying to shove it in for ages
I’m so glad my video helped you 😊
Putting it back on the angle is the key! Thanks a lot for this video!
You’re welcome! 😊
Thank you sososososo much the angle thing rly helped. I spent like an hour trying to get it in with the help of other videos but they didn’t say the angle thing. You did and this really helped so thank you!!
After trial and error hell I too appreciate the tip on angling the damn bands for Versa 2. #Respect

Thank you. I got my new band easily in thanks to your straight forward instruction.
You’re welcome. I’m so glad to hear it 😊
Thanks for mentioning the angle of the strap which other failed to do...very easy now..and my thumbs have stopped bleeding.

You’re welcome 😊
Great instructions!!! The bend was the secret. Thanks!!
You’re welcome! 😊
OMG!!!! I was struggling until I watched your video. Thanks for making it understandable.
The only actual helpful video. The angle tip is what I needed. Thanks
You’re welcome
God bless you I spent like 40 minutes trying to do this
I’m so glad my video helped you 😊
Thank u! My first try after watching this video I got it in!
This video was much easier to follow.
Thank you! The angle really helped
