Great video. I'm in the process of changing out the freehub bearing in a DT Swiss P1800 Road wheel. Watch out on this hub as the inner bearing is held with a circle deepdown. You'll need to remove this before knocking the bearing out!
Good video - thanks. It's exactly what I'm doing at the moment. I ordered these bearings and they are the wrong size for my SRAM Freehub (too small). I think they should be 61802 (17x26x5mm). I've just re-ordered. Always handy to have spare bearings hanging around anyway!
just had to replace the free hub bearings on my Spesh Levo which has Roval Traverse wheels with DT Swiss hubs and XD free hub - your video was incredibly useful, I was on the verge of taking it to the LBS but managed it by myself and saved a few quid - very satisfying! I've sent you a small donation.
Very helpful video! My cassette is SRAM XG1150, 11-speed, 10-42 tooth - what is the size of the bearings for the XD freehub? I mean inner/outer diameter and thickness, thanks!
Hi, when i was spreading the sealant in my tire, my gx cassette just fell of the DT swiss hub, i guess it wasn't tightened all the way? I is weird because i never touched the cassette and it came like that from canyon, what can i do best to make sure it is secure? I now just pushed back in place without an cassete tool and it seems secured
I did the same thing with my 2017 YT Jeffsy! That's why I'm watching this video. There is just a plastic spacer that holds it in. Seems like just pressure from my frame and thru axle. I don't have answers for you, but just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one!
very helpful video! i was about to order a full freehub but i will now try and replace the bearings as you've shown. thanks a lot !
Did it yesterday for my friend, thank you for a good video !👍
Excellent - thanks!!
