I’m 23 years old and just purchased a 2020 1/750 m4 conversion heritage edition. I always felt the same way you did in terms of do I really need this, or I could always go cheaper. Good call getting one now, the V8 sound is amazing & they’re ditching the V8 in 2023 for a hybrid motor, it’s a turbo 4 cylinder and electric. They’re supposed to make more power but I’d never spend that much for a 4 cylinder personally. Congratulations Mav 🙏

Im happy for you man, I love Mercedes and I remember when I bought my first one, the power and comfort are unmatched. People really cant understand the difference in driving experience between a regular car and a nice Mercedes until they own one. You are absolutely going to want to sell her before she goes over 70k miles though, those services and problems get expensive.
Couple tips for you man. Since it's a bi turbocharged vehicle, you should always let it run for a good 2-3 minutes atleast before turning it off after a drive, not after a grocery shop trip but after a good beating, always remember to do that. The turbos are expensive.

If that salesman was being honest and they did an oil change I would be very sceptical about that being good news. Either it's burning oil, there's a leak, or they didn't fill it up enough. I'd be careful and keep an eye on it.
@wim caubergs isn’t it best to use a certain type of oil in turbo’d engines? From what I understand is that the engine oil also lubes the turbos, although I could be wrong. Wondering if a “wrong” kind of oil would burn off faster in the turbs
@@johnniewasr5740 all engine oil should be fine with turbo applications as far as I know. Of course you want the correct viscosity and rating (i.e. 10w-40 / 5w-40) for the engine...
I have a c63s in sedan form and it pops up randomly at times. Car does get some questionable messages about the electronic rear differential and all that. Goes away on its own
One of my fav cars. Super quick, not too flashy and luxury interior. Plus the exhaust is so nice. Especially compared to four cylinder fart cars. This is much more refined.

I’m 23 years old and just purchased a 2020 1/750 m4 conversion heritage edition. I always felt the same way you did in terms of do I really need this, or I could always go cheaper. But it’s good to enjoy the luxuries that you have worked extremely hard towards.

Good call getting one now, the V8 sound is amazing & they’re ditching the V8 in 2023 for a hybrid motor, it’s a turbo 4 cylinder and electric. They’re supposed to make more power but I’d never spend that much for a 4 cylinder personally. Congratulations Mav 🙏

Im happy for you man, I love Mercedes and I remember when I bought my first one, the power and comfort are unmatched. People really cant understand the difference in driving experience between a regular car and a nice Mercedes until they own one. You are absolutely going to want to sell her before she goes over 70k miles though, those services and problems get expensive.
Couple tips for you man. Since it's a bi turbocharged vehicle, you should always let it run for a good 2-3 minutes atleast before turning it off after a drive, not after a grocery shop trip but after a good beating, always remember to do that. The turbos are expensive.

If that salesman was being honest and they did an oil change I would be very sceptical about that being good news. Either it's burning oil, there's a leak, or they didn't fill it up enough. I'd be careful and keep an eye on it.

@wim caubergs isn’t it best to use a certain type of oil in turbo’d engines? From what I understand is that the engine oil also lubes the turbos, although I could be wrong. Wondering if a “wrong” kind of oil would burn off faster in the turbs
@@johnniewasr5740 all engine oil should be fine with turbo applications as far as I know. Of course you want the correct viscosity and rating (i.e. 10w-40 / 5w-40) for the engine...
I have a c63s in sedan form and it pops up randomly at times. Car does get some questionable messages about the electronic rear differential and all that. Goes away on its own
One of my fav cars. Super quick, not too flashy and luxury interior. Plus the exhaust is so nice. Especially compared to four cylinder fart cars. This is much more refined.

Congrats mav! For 10+ yrs I dreamt over and over of a fully loaded Cadillac escalade, I never thought I even get a chance of even getting behind the wheel of a first Gen escalade. Now I have my fully loaded 2015 escalade and in a few yrs I'll upgrade to the newer model. Keep up the cool vids
