At least you took the step in selling them since you know you can use your money else where. This version is not everybodies cup tea and I can see that. I can see having leather can help with rain and dirt coming off more easily than suede. Also I have been on the fence for years from buying more sneakers since grown up priorites come first. I think going forward for myself I'll be more super selective and limit of what I pick up especially with Jays going up in price. Like bro $200+ for a pair of Retros.....
Mine had the same dent in the toe box. But after wearing them 4 or 5 times its gone..
