Seeing him cry made me cry. It was a long- awaited dream of his that finally came true, singing this particular song for an international audience. Even after his performance of Daididau on The Singer, he cried backstage, because he had fulfilled a dream of sharing this song and Kazakh culture in another country.
Sabina, you spoke from my heart.❤️ I love your reactions. 😘👍You are very attentive and have the antennas for every tiny but important detail that Dimash broadcasts in his performances. Also, you include in your reactions a lot of items in his surrounding ... starting with the musicians, the instruments used, the stage, your observation of the interaction between Dimash and the Dears, etc.. This is my favorite song of Dimash and when he performed live in New York, I was there can not hold my tears. It was an unforgettable experience when I and many others Dears from different countries witnessed the proud and emotional moment of Dimash’s realized dream: introduction of his culture and country to the world. Moreover, this is like a story of a small guy fighting vs. Goliath (the record music industry that poisoned the youth with their trash). Remember the World’s Best show when Dimash walked away from the $1 Million prize due to conflict with his culture? And finally was able to set his foot back to the US without the help of the Record music industry.

This Bastau Concert was his first solo concert after the Singer 2017 competition in the same year with an audience of 40,000 people, and total success like all his concert. Dimash is very excited, when he opens his arms like that he means giving a hug thanking the public, then he takes his hand to the heart , he ate saying how much love he feels for his audience and you start so see when he finishes singing he always has a look up. He's really developed the song throughout the years. When I saw it performed in 2015?( Or sometime earlier in his career) it was a very pop version. He made it more traditional and dramatic for the Singer show. Then at New York concert he added some beautiful ad-libs

I'm glad you reacted to both performances. When Dimash sang this in NYC and the audience sang along, it was one of the most moving things I experienced. He was so overcome with emotion that people in America were singing a Kazakh song. I thought my heart would burst. The Dears network is not perfect, but it is the most open, welcoming group I've ever been a part of. I feel that since I got to know Dimash, his music, and the Dears, I have become a more patient and accepting person. I really feel he is changing lives.
The lady whom Dimash met at the beginning of Gloria Wu channel is Ms Maira Mukhammad, one of his mentor with whom he sang the duet of "My Swan/Akkuym" as I have recommended earlier. Watch that duet from Bastau concert, 😊😊😊❤. The outfit is called Sapaan/Chapaan, he invited his colleagues from his music college, Kazakhstan to play with him in the Singers, the old couple they were showing are his teachers. This song is one of my top favorites from Dimash, obviously i love all his songs but this one just touch my feelings on a deeper level, thanks to Gloria Wu for an amazing work showing the history behind, as is mentioned the song is based of a poem from Magzhan Zhumabayev but i didn't get what "Daididau" ment but when i find out that is how he used to call his beloved, i was in tears listening again to the beautiful song and the way Dimash displays the sorrow and pain. Love your reactions and is so pleasant to share your journey discovering each time a little more from him.
He us wearing a shapan, he flew his fellow university students over to China to perform with him, they made outfits in record time especially. I love all the Dombra players in the Bastau version playing Adai, that was a very huge, very impressive concert, his first in his homeland and he got very emotional bless him. See him in New York, another tear jerker. This song means so.much to him, he has been performing it since he was a young teenager but now he has got it out to the world its extra special. If you rewatch the Bastau concert, his ear monitor was not working. He gave signal to his team at the beginning of the song by pointing onto his ear monitor. In the end, he sang the whole song without his ear monitor on🌹

Hello Sabina. Today, there was no way to avoid tears. When he interprets this song he conveys all the pain that his people suffered. And dressed that way. The Kazaks musicians. Wow. it's magic. It is one of the songs that he moves a lot in stadiums in other countries when the Dears sing along. A wonderful and loving choir, even if they don't understand what they're singing. He is ecstatic to be singing and being accompanied in a song so important for his country, in his language. At the New York concert it was extremely beautiful. A dream come true for him, fans from 46 countries singing together. The video of Bastau with 100 musicians playing Dombra is impressive isn't it ?. I don't know if he noticed the respect with which he gives the Dombra he is playing, and the respect with which the girl receives it. Hi Sabina. When you go to Dimash's concert in Prague next year, see if the Dears who plan to attend will have a pre-concert party. If so, you may meet some of the other reactors on UA-cam from all over the world. I think that hose who attended the London concert had the opportunity to meet some of his family members. I was part of a small group of UK Dears who organised the pre-party Boat Trip along the Thames and yes, Dimash’s mother Sveta, his sister Raushan and his godmother Aigan joined us on the boat. They were lovely & no one will ever forget Sveta singing (acapello) with the lights of London as a backdrop that night. She talked of us all being part of their family 💕 Plymouth UK 🇬🇧

I was blown away when I saw 100 dombra players all in white on stage with our prince & his dombra. Incredible! Dimash’s father Kanat & his friend composed & wrote the lyrics to this song a few years back. It’s amazing & Dimash became very emotional before his countrymen. Thank you Sabina. Did you notice that just as his voice soared in the videos of "We Are One" and "Across Endless Dimensions" an eagle took flight. I don't think it's a coincidence that the official animal of Kazakhstan is the golden eagle. I think that the pose Dimash takes at the end of many songs eg. "Opera 2", or especially here, where he's dressed in gold, with his arms outstretched, doesn't mean "Look at me." like some reactors have commented. I think he is symbolically embracing the audience in his "wings".

It is a beautiful song based on fact, and it's surprising that even though Kazakhstan was overrun by Russia many years ago, there are still Russians living there and the Kazakh people show no outward signs of ill will. Dimash can sing and speak Russian and was even asked to represent Russia in a singing competition. He gracefully demurred, saying that he can only represent his own country. Russia tried to destroy Kazakh culture and language, and switched the written language to Cyrillic. But in the past few years, the language has returned to a Latin writing base as Kazakhstan grows its economy. This has all happened at an opportune time for Dimash to spread Kazakh music and culture throughout the world. I believe he is Kazakhstan's greatest asset. And he uses his influence to propel young Kazakh artists to their own fame. He gives all praise to Allah. A very humble man, indeed. Please keep your reactions coming. They are a breath of fresh air.

This Bastau Concert was his first solo concert after the Singer 2017 competition in the same year with an audience of 40,000 people, and total success like all his concert. Dimash is very excited, when he opens his arms like that he means giving a hug thanking the public, then he takes his hand to the heart , he ate saying how much love he feels for his audience and you start so see when he finishes singing he always has a look up. I'm so glad you finally reacted to this song. Daididau has a special place for Dimash. He's always performing this song abroad. He's proud and wants to show Kazakh culture to the world. What's not to like? As you can see from Bastau concert he got really emotional as he's performing his own solo concert after The Singer competition. Beautiful yet powerful song.
He's really developed the song throughout the years. When I saw it performed in 2015?( Or sometime earlier in his career) it was a very pop version. He made it more traditional and dramatic for the Singer show. Then at New York concert he added some beautiful ad-libs

I'm glad you reacted to both performances. When Dimash sang this in NYC and the audience sang along, it was one of the most moving things I experienced. He was so overcome with emotion that people in America were singing a Kazakh song. I thought my heart would burst. The Dears network is not perfect, but it is the most open, welcoming group I've ever been a part of. I feel that since I got to know Dimash, his music, and the Dears, I have become a more patient and accepting person. I really feel he is changing lives.
The lady whom Dimash met at the beginning of Gloria Wu channel is Ms Maira Mukhammad, one of his mentor with whom he sang the duet of "My Swan/Akkuym" as I have recommended earlier. Watch that duet from Bastau concert, 😊😊😊❤. The outfit is called Sapaan/Chapaan, he invited his colleagues from his music college, Kazakhstan to play with him in the Singers, the old couple they were showing are his teachers. I love the New York concert version of "Daididau" ❤

He us wearing a shapan, he flew his fellow university students over to China to perform with him, they made outfits in record time especially. I love all the Dombra players in the Bastau version playing Adai, that was a very huge, very impressive concert, his first in his homeland and he got very emotional bless him. See him in New York, another tear jerker. This song means so.much to him, he has been performing it since he was a young teenager but now he has got it out to the world its extra special. Especially the 2nd performance...No man/woman before Dimash has been able to bring the emotions out of me (and even tears here and there) with such powerful and meaningful lyrices and Performances. YOU will be so thankful you have that ticket to see this "Perfect Man/Child" perform soon....He can just capture my attention and I crave for more from him...
Hello Sabina. Today, there was no way to avoid tears. When he interprets this song he conveys all the pain that his people suffered. And dressed that way. The Kazaks musicians. Wow. it's magic. It is one of the songs that he moves a lot in stadiums in other countries when the Dears sing along. A wonderful and loving choir, even if they don't understand what they're singing. He is ecstatic to be singing and being accompanied in a song so important for his country, in his language. At the New York concert it was extremely beautiful. A dream come true for him, fans from 46 countries singing together. The video of Bastau with 100 musicians playing Dombra is impressive isn't it ?. I don't know if he noticed the respect with which he gives the Dombra he is playing, and the respect with which the girl receives it. The lights of cell phones like stars illuminating our prince Dimash, always bring even more emotion.

If so, you may meet some of the other reactors on UA-cam from all over the world. I think that hose who attended the London concert had the opportunity to meet some of his family members. Boat Trip along the Thames and yes, Dimash’s mother Sveta, his sister Raushan and his godmother Aigan joined us on the boat. They were lovely & no one will ever forget Sveta singing (acapello) with the lights of London as a backdrop that night. She talked of us all being part of their family 💕 Plymouth UK 🇬🇧

And I have listened to him litteraly EVERY DAY since then.. And every day I tear up (or even end up doing the ugly cry..). I thought there was something wrong with me untill I realized that this is common amongst Dears.. 😂🙏❤

I was blown away when I saw 100 dombra players all in white on stage with our prince & his dombra. Incredible! Dimash’s father Kanat & his friend composed & wrote the lyrics to this song a few years back. It’s amazing & Dimash became very emotional before his countrymen. Thank you Sabina. Until this concert Daididau from The Singer had been, if you could make it possible to have a favorite, that would have been it.
The first time I heard him was when I was having a very dark night, his SOS from the Slavic Bazaar.I knew I had never heard anything like this in my long life and it made me want to stay alive to hear more. Did you notice that just as his voice soared in the videos of "We Are One" and "Across Endless Dimensions" an eagle took flight. I don't think it's a coincidence that the official animal of Kazakhstan is the golden eagle. I think that the pose Dimash takes at the end of many songs eg. "Opera 2", or especially here, where he's dressed in gold, with his arms outstretched, doesn't mean "Look at me." like some reactors have commented. I think he is symbolically embracing the audience in his "wings".

It is a beautiful song based on fact, and it's surprising that even though Kazakhstan was overrun by Russia many years ago, there are still Russians living there and the Kazakh people show no outward signs of ill will. Dimash can sing and speak Russian and was even asked to represent Russia in a singing competition. He gracefully demurred, saying that he can only represent his own country. Russia tried to destroy Kazakh culture and language, and switched the written language to Cyrillic. But in the past few years, the language has returned to a Latin writing base as Kazakhstan grows its economy. This has all happened at an opportune time for Dimash to spread Kazakh music and culture throughout the world. I believe he is Kazakhstan's greatest asset. And he uses his influence to propel young Kazakh artists to their own fame. He gives all praise to Allah. A very humble man, indeed. Please keep your reactions coming. They are a breath of fresh air.

Hi Sabina, Beautiful, beautiful performances and beautiful reactions from yourself, he always gets so emotional at the joy of bringing a little of his culture to the rest of the world and of course we know he his a master at portraying that emotion to us. The musicians behind him in traditional costume in both performances were all his friends from university and brought in specially to play with him. 👌👌👌👌😊😊💕
