- This is my first reaction to Dimash singing Mademoiselle Hyde. First I watch DImash sing it and then Lara Fabian.
It’s my first time hearing the song and also to hear Lara sing by herself.
Before this, I have seen Lara on Ti Amo Cosi with Dimash.
Two beautiful versions of this very seductive song!!

Both had Igor Krutoy joined by excellent musians and choristers. Each of the soloists, Dimash and Lara gave a stunning delivery of the song within their respective vocal abilities and range. However on a performance level, experience comes through powerfully so in Lara's case and unmistakable.
They both sing this song in different tones yet you can’t really compare.. Lara and Dimash are both awesome in their own voice category ❤
When I heard this song for the first time it was performed by Dimash. Wonderful performance. But when I heard this song performed by Lara, it was something else. Lara in this song was a personification of femme fatale. When I saw her music video to this song - she also personified addiction, death and temptress. For me her performance has an additional layer.

People's said that Dimash is a genius, and they are right. Because I think don't exist other singer like him, with a vocal range of 6 octaves. But Lara is incomparable... her face, her movements, the way she seduces the public and tells a story, it's really amazing for me. Her voice rich, powerful, and at the same time so sweet. No, we can't compare this two extraordinary singers. Are totally differents, even when Dimash adores Lara and grew up studying her, cause he is very influenced by her, but nothing more. Lara is the author of lyrics for this song and for Your Love, for and many others written by Igor Krutoy. Lara and Igor have the wonderful album together called M-lle Zhivago and the film based on that by a famous director Alan Badoev. M-lle Hyde is one of the songs from that album.

Despite the fact that Dimash is still young, he acts like an older experienced singer when performing certain profound songs, like a singer who looks back on his life, so to speak, that includes all kinds of experiences. It seems to me that he somehow has an "old" or wise soul. So emotional.

Lara remains a master story teller. Every part of her tells stories better than anyone I know in contemporary music. And the simplicity of her is just breathtaking.

Indeed that song is delicious. Lara had the edge because every word was clear. In this case that is very important, I think. I was surprised and delighted at her performance. However to me Dimash owns it. I would have to touch his skin even if it burned me alive I do believe. LOL. This was wonderful. You are my favorite reactor. One thing, I heard a very knowledgeable vocal coach say that Dimash does not sing falsetto so to speak. I forget the technical reason but it made sense. I love you Miss.

@@JuanRodriguez-ys8vh For some reason I did not enjoy that version as much. I think because for the most psrt she sang with a brazilian kind of scent to at times nail the actual portuguese but I caught some hints of spanish, as well. He tonality is anazing as always, nonetheless.

I have to share something rather humorous about this reaction. Just before I saw this another fan and I were talking about this performance. I mentioned to her that I found it strange that no one had reacted to it in a while, especially any of the newer ones. My God! The groove with Dimash, his elegance, charm and frightful eyes when singing the beast part.
I love the way he stands on stage to accentuate his stable positioning and his dominance.
As for Lara, she is, in my opinion, the best female vocal artist in the world for her acting (remember Je suis malade?), her impeccable voice and her emotional connection with the listener.
Her résumé, so to speak, is incredible, and her vocal abilities are endless.

I am impressed by both and I am impressed by Dimash's progress since the first performances I have seen on videos.
There is no denial that he puts a lot of soul and energy in his performances. He nevertheless still has to work his voice control, his head and mixt voice and the harmony of these last high pitched notes.
Well... I mean, I say that but he is still absolutely astonishing, and very few people would be able to sing this song as well as he did !!! :-)
I am just saying that as if you compare him to Lara Fabian, who has just incredible voice control, incredible belting, chest, mixt and head voice.
Both are incredible, but I still like Lara Fabian's control, sweetness and resonance in the sounds and her emotion delivery a little better.
Dimash has one thing that Lara Fabian can't achieve though, it is his low very sustained deep notes.
So thank you for this moment. Hearing them both one after the other is very interesting.

This song didnt have the usual vocal gymnastics for a change,, liked it. This was probably the most pop Dimash performance so far.
