I'm very happy to be seeing more updates on this. Been excited to see this come to fruition for years. I really like this concept for a sniper rifle. Really gives it an "awp" feel.
Reynad said for years that people should look forward to the production values of the final game instead of focusing on the early builds and he was right all along. The final product is loking incredibly slick and polished, I'll very strongly consider being a founder.
definitely looking much better than the previous builds but there's still so much visual clutter and the lack of a satisfying hit animation for the super powerful sniper weapon leaves much to be desired.
@@junz13 The nature of the game means that there's a ton of information on the screen going on at once that players will eventually digest to improve their game (if they want to, since battling is automated). If anything I find it rather commendable that I can sort of tell what's going on even without knowing the mechanics and the type of game it is. I think it's clear the team has spent a lot of time iterating on the design and the subtelty behind the animations and color play, there's a lot of science behind it. I agree on the "there's not an omega hit animation for the Sniper Rifle blowing the opponent out!" but I'm willing to think that maybe during playtesting they found it to be too disrupting and ingame it looks good as it is right now. Of course you me and both are just saying, the game isn't even out yet so these are just impressions and scattered thoughts :)

This is really fresh! Since Items are the core of your game, it makes sense to have these Item reveals to spotlight Items in the game and get players to think about possibilities. Can't wait to watch more to come.
I think this does a great job of bringing the mechanics/fantasy of using a sniper rifle into a card game. I could definitely see myself having fun optimizing for that one big hit. Good stuff.
I felt a bit lost watching the gameplay. Did the sniper rifle fire and I missed it? I kept waiting for a big satisfying bang - maybe some vfx are missing?
I feel like this needs more satisfying animation. Similar how in mtga when you attack with big creature it gives that OUMPH and you get opponent to -20 or something. Getting a character from 7k to kill in 1 attack should feel as special

Also, interesting that any effects that "disable enemy weapons" would be very strong against a Sniper Rifle meta. Easy to balance. *tips cap
