Normally you can only fold the back seats down with the latches inside the trunk So my question is how did you get in through the back seats if the seats a are locked in place ?
@@LoveDocta Yup, I know, but the CLK comes in Coupe and Cabriolet body styles. When you run across the problem in a Coupe, if all else fails, a hole has to be cut in the 10 o-clock position above the latch and the release rod pulled upwards.

Ah i asked how to unstuck the TRUNK OF MY C300 Sedan- it suddenly will NOT at open by the door or with remote! U are talking about 2004 clk
Works fine, as you say, for the Coupe but not for the Cabriolet.
