  • Easter Jeep Safari continues with Steel Bender, a tough trail with non-stop obstacles and beautiful scenery!
The trail starts off meandering down a creek with a few gentle crossings, then really starts to step things up a notch by going into and out of a dry creek bed.
From there it's a relentless assault from multiple waterfalls, followed by a sketch drop with no bypass!
It's definitely one that we'll remember.

Dude, Steel Bender is absolutely the right name for that run. That was sketchy AF!!

Surprised you skipped the main “Dragon Tail” obstacle… it’s nothing in a Gladiator. You’re right though, the bypass can barely be considered such, it feels just a treacherous. Great video, makes me want to run it again.

Steve!! I kept thinking about ya man. Can't wait until next year. Yeah that drop with that undercut, I was apprehensive about slamming down on the front end that hard. You land on a rock the wrong way and your wheel gets cocked and there goes an end or a joint. And truthfully, was eager for something a little more technical; doesn't take much to sluff off the edge hah.

@@FarFromOrdinary yeah, as long as you hold the brakes, it’s not a bad jolt, but the bypass is fun. Ideally you go down the fall, and then up the bypass. 😬

Noice! Does that Green Mojave have added lockers? of just sway bar disconnect? (I have a Mojave too 38x13.50 with 2 inch AEV lift with 5.13 gears... So I'm wondering if my jeep could handle that too)

Nope! Just the sway bar disconnect. Been wanting to add a front locker for ages, but that cost tho..... I think your Jeep could definitely handle Steel Bender. It would be a lot of scraping on a 2" lift but I think you would make it!

@@FarFromOrdinary TY. The way your front end pulled you up without lockers is impressive. Keeping both tires on the ground with the sway bar disconnect is GOLD. Great videos BTW, and thank you for answering my question.
