  • Ride along with me and my buddy Jim as we roll through the Canyonlands National Park, camp in the back country and take the scenic route up to Moab, Utah to hit Poison Spider Mesa. The rugged beauty is endless!
Along the way, we compare some of the differences in the way we approach obstacles in our two rigs. Both Jim’s JKU and my JT are on 1 ton axles, long arm suspension, 40” Milestar Patagonias and 4.5” of lift. If you’ve been weighing the pros and cons of the Wrangler vs the Gladiator offroad, this is the video for you!

    Great video.
I have a set of UD 60s sitting in my garage that I plan on installing on my 2016 JKUR here before the new year.

Although I’m a Rubi 2dr owner and I have noticed advantages on tight trails, I definitely have noticed that school buses have an advantage in uphill and downhile large obstacles when they can clear everything. Great job on the tons and 40s on your rig - that configuration makes a huge difference on a JT build.

For sure - a 2 door must be super nice on tighter trails (and in parking lots!) thanks for the comment 👊🏼

LOL that’s fair. I was expecting cooler at night, hard to camp in 100*. Thankfully was better on the CO side!
