The biggest eagles native to Australia grow up to ~13lbs, which makes them the largest raptors in the country. So it seems like an American Eagle went out of its way to go to Australia to hunt people. Or the Haast Eagle from New Zealand somehow survived 600 years of extinction and flew over to ruin someone's day.
