It really wasn't a real issue. It was a bunch of EDC channel crybabies trying to stir up controversy to get views from their anti leatherman viewers. I bought a bond for the sole purpose of experiencing this "issue". The slight blade movement is no different than my 1997 PST 2 that I used for many years with exactly zero pokes or cuts from it. While the bond is not my most used multitool, I am extremely confident that I will also have exactly zero pokes or cuts from the blade "issue" over its lifetime.
@@christopherroth7239I got one a week ago and the blade flops out and the tip becomes exposed in an unpredictable and dangerous way. I have 13 Leathermans and the Bond is the ONLY one that it happens on.
I haven’t left the house without a Leatherman in 20+ years A Wave+ saved my life in 2018 & the damage was repaired under the awesome warranty I have an original 1984 PST, a Wave+ ,2 Skeletools & a Rev
I've been carrying the Kick since it came out and the pliers are fantastic but there's not enough tools. The addition of a file really isn't enough justification for me to buy this. At least give me scissors and a saw. I bought the biggest Juice before they discontinued it and while it's got a lot of functions, it's not a full size multitool. I want full size pliers for my full size hands...
For anyone interested in a small size multi tool that works very well this is the one I've been using this multi tool for a few years now and it works very well for it's size it gets the job done with no problems also UK legal
We need 2-3oz tools aka. Squirt with better quality gear. Fix the scissors and or charge a premium. I don't need a giant leatherman when I have a wave. I need something on my chain to replace my squirt and style that HAS a knife.
Leatherman doesn't make a new tool since almost two decades ago, they continue reediting the same 14 tools in the same pliers again and again... I wish have the innovative designers of Gerber or SOG working with the quality steels of Leatherman... that would be the BEST multitool ever seen!
We have made TSA "compliant" tools in the past but those were still confiscated by TSA agents. Even if we follow their guidelines and make tools within that, it is still up to the discretion of the officer if they'll allow it to fly.
@LeathermanToolGroup I work at an airport and I have many tools from scissors, a screwdriver, a modified leatherman PST, and a Style PS. I go through TSA everyday, I just think that it would be within your best interest if you continued the models at a competitive price point with or without the pliers on the models to compete against the Jet Setter. I mean, if you can bring a lock pick set though on your carry on bag why not cater to the pilots, ground crew, or frequent travelers 🤔 But that’s y’all’s choice, I just think there’s a market there
Bring back the Squirt and Style!
I second this
They won't because they lose money if they do.
and Juice!
Glad to see you changed the blade shape to fix the knife issue.

Y’all should come out with a surge with springy pliers

I’d be interested in hearing the story if you’re willing to share
Please make a version with the bit adaptor, sissors and replaceable wire cutters in the pliers. the non-locking blade is great for UK Leaterman users.

The can opener is great: I have yet to work out how it works as a bottle opener for which purpose it is entirely useless.
I carry a leatherman wherever I go. Best no questions asked warranty, because of this I'll only buy leatherman. Made in the 🇺🇸
Did you guys fix the knife coming loose when using the pliers?
Yes

Oknife looks like a good option. Haven't picked one up yet but eyeing it on Amazon. It's called the Otacle P1.
When did they change the blade style ?
Love my micra and bolster along with my skele tool
Brought one earlier in the year and the tools keep unlatching when using the pliers. I hope the new version is more rugged 😅
I wish leatherman would make a skeletool with a full size utility blade holder. It would replace my Milwaukee fastback.
They should also do a skeletool with scissors. Instead, they will offer it in two more colors….

Bring back Squirt and Juice please!
Would be my edc if it had scissors
Yes!!!!
Looks like the Pulse, but without the positive locking feature.
Bring back the Blast and replace the micro-screwdriver with a sharp awl like the one in the Surge.
If only it was actually available to purchase.
It available on our website :)
The clip should be with the multitool and not sold separately
Bring back some TSA options!!!
