this game has come a long long way from the original beta. The characters look better - the game has many things to do while you eek out your small farm and grow it.

little hint,, when getting the harvester repair it first at the garage so you get 10% extra crops,, it do cost 500 so the money you start with "could" be used for repair :)

I didnt even know you could repair vehicles! And my bale wagon keeps falling trough the map and respawning on the street. I can't even use it :(

I've always loved this game and series, something about this game makes it way better than FS19, FS19 is still good but Giants is getting a little creatively bankrupt with the FS series. This game has heart, and a way better soil physics system than FS lmao imagine if they had the same amount of money for development as Giants

This sounds/looks more like a country-living simulator. A storm tore apart your lawnmower shed, high winds damaged the top of your chimney, lightening fried your new TV and destroyed your wireless internet, and now your wife wants some new doors and floors.
Definitely what its supposed to be.
I thought the voices were done with voice synthesizing using a computer program? Did they change that?
At first they did, but Its live actors since the main release.

i think maybe they were using a voice engine i.e. those text to speech things. seems like it anyway.
I just learned more about this game then playing it thank you very much,and i never had the full screen issue had this game when it came out but the last time i played it was back in aug 22 of 2018
I think its because I am recording at the same time, so having several programs open causes the problem.

My family and I have deep drawls, being from the Ozark foothill area, and we are NOT offended. With deep drawls comes thick skin. Northerners on the other hand....

So can you not customize your character; change gender, etc like on fs19? I mean they have all this talking & other features fs doesn’t, I didn’t think they would miss that. I just got it yesterday but haven’t started repairing things.
I think because it has a lot of dialogue, they just didn't give us any options that way. It would be nice to be able to pick your character and customize him or her. But that all costs a lot of money to develop and this is a pretty small development house, so they will have a limited budget.
Playing to this today, I got a mile of free modern equipment at the most southern vehicle shop. Most the stuff there it said belonged to me. Must be a bug

calling it "scocial points' means it relates to some kind of charisma attribute and affects price, like a mercantile skill(as in certain elder scrolls games).
It sucks that you lose charisma when you use it.
Is the version for the Xbox the full version or is it trimmed like the Switch version?

My version of the game has euros for currency and I wish they had the option to have regular time instead of military time!
You can probably set this in the settings (the dollars) But yeah, its a 24 hour clock and that isn't changeable.

Nope - Appearantly they removed the big green houses from the switch version which is total Because that is where you make your best money. Frustraiting

It adds life choices it more of life and farm sim
Trying to get in US but I can only find UK version for xbox. Wouldn't mind but I keep seeing warnings about needing a UK account location to download updates? Anyone know if that true?

Austria is definitely NOT Germany, but they are Germanic peoples. Austria was independant before WWII, was made part of Germany during WWII, and then became independant again in the 1950s. While many people in Austria are still German, its still a seperate country.

I have a good enough laptop that allows me to run GTA V/Stranded Deep and other similar graphic heavy games....would you recommend this on Xbox or PC?
The PC version seems to have a lot less bugs than the console versions

Hi Arthur and Simone. My wife never got into playing farm sim but does watch a lot of the videos and plays a lot of click and repeat games on her mobile. Do you think this game would be more suitable for someone not really into pc gaming
Probably not, she may like farm manager better, if she is a click gamer.
Once you rebuild stuff with new materials it never seems to wear out again. I've gone thru maybe 5 years since i rebuilt everything, still good as new. Kinda dissappointing.
Ah - good to know, but yeah. It would be neat if stuff had to be replaced.
there is a no traffic mod in workshop for ETS2 probably for ATS too

In other words the social points give you a discount on things Also I watched an old vid of the game and instead of using scaffolding and the nail gun they just had a ladder and hammer, Hate them silly game controllers always use mouse and keyboard guess that comes from playing computer games since the 90's but I do have an Xbox one controller it came with my Oculus Rift
reminds me of the articulation in "Intersteller Prime". voice acting likewise. I don't mind. I prefer the farming sim to story anyway.
I have been waiting for release; hoping that the game would significantly improve. I do see a bunch of improvement; however, I am not sure I can get past the character animations and voicing. Unlike farming sim with no character interaction, I get the feeling that this game needs me to care about the characters.
Yeah, they are little robotic people. Still, I do enjoy the gameplay.
How is the game on PS4 or Xbox One? Thinking about picking it up

I have this game on xbox one it's fun but I keep losing my hat wagon in the ground when I put bales on it
oh jeez - hopefully they fix that. It works on the PC no problem.
Do you mean hay wagon or bale wagon? That happens to a lot of people. I've found that if you attach it to the baler while on a field, it does not fall through. Drive off the field before detaching it from the baler.

Not all farmers have accents tho, especialy modern farmers. Canadians dont have an accent, they deffinitly wont be saying 'aint', but hey i know these games arent based on Canada, devs seem to forget even that this country exists, except for our OWN game developers. No farmer deffinitly says aint, not even a british farmer, they would likely talk proper. I wouldnt want a southern accent, thats so stereotypical too tbh, isnt it? lol.
you mean "ain't it" lol. Actually Canadians do have a slight accent - its very much like the Wisconson accent. And though I am American, I love Canada because Canada gave us both Bryan Adams and Corey Hart - Now that is some serious 80s strat rock love right there.

and you dont need scafolding at all for green house. and same goes for most of the other surfaces.

That's the one good thing about PC - I got it in alpha for less then 20 bucks. I agree that 60 is too much. 60 is pretty much too much for any game except maybe Zelda or Grand Theft Auto games.
@@Vbluguitar ya id pay 20 or 30 but the voice acting and graphics arent good enough for a full release. that being said im gonna watch this whole series to experience the other aspects of the game to give it a chance at least.
@@Vbluguitar also another thing i thought is replayability. like if its a static story i feel like i wont play it twice and how long can you play until ive done everything there is to do? ive currently got 33 days of play time in fs19 with no end in site for almost the same price.
