@@imslushied2237 Possibly Village Idiot on this one, but don’t quote me. I saw where he had a low intelligence stat on another Spellshot video, going all all it with the crit damage, crit chance and status power and I think he used Village Idiot on that one as well. I feel you though, when it comes to character background lol. Wanna min max for sure.

Frost buffmeister does wxist got one today also calamity of the honed talon works well with a fire type buffmeister build insane damage also if you want more survivability the pan legendary melee weapon negates all damage from the back making you immune to damage from behind.

This is what you call finding the perfect video at the wrong time. Just picked my second class yesterday so I'm spell/stabbo but clicking on this video right when you wake up? Nope. I can barely add 2 plus 2 right now let alone follow this. Have to go get some coffee and revisit this video.
I'm thinking about doing something similar except go spellshot+sporewarden. It might not be as much damage, but with all the ricocheting going on from the sporewarden capstone, it should be some super fast clears.
Why does no one show the hero stats on builds in this game
I was looking for the same thing ):
hero stats are actually no brainers, strength and dexterity is priority the rest u cld decide on ur own, for this build spell cooldown doesnt really matter nor does action skill cooldown as u need 2 spells and spellshot's tier 6 skill allows u to reset spell cooldowns by chance when u get gun critical hits and with buffmeister spell, u get 100% crit chance buff so that speaks for itself

I'd love to make a status build with that class combo but I fear it might not scale well at all in endgame

@@babyyyz7948 I guess you could use it as a reference while leveling but for it to be "the build" you need to be max level and have certain items.
I think NickTew has a levelling guide also, so maybe check that one out.

Great video but holy hell I feel I need a spreadsheet to fully grasp this. Never been good at creating builds in Borderlands. It's like I need the equivalent of a finger painting course to fully grasp this, a special ed version. This is how stacks work. The crit on this gear works this way. Lol

Yeah so the only thing I noticed about this is wouldn't increase spell damage be fine since buffmeister is pulling from the second spell so wouldn't increasing the spell damage be a good thing

One question: For the large direct damage increase that the guns receive from the high base stat of the spell in the left slot, will the element of said direct damage increase be of the buffmeister’s or of the high base stat spell in the left slot? Hope my question makes sense haha :)
Only the damage numbers are applied. The status effects are based on the type the Buffmiester spell is based on.

I made a deadshot (graveyard/spellshot) and have yet to die to an enemy. But falling off the maps a thing still. Trying sporewarden waiting for second class. But so far it's pretty badass too.
I read about a stab/spellshot build but with using from the shadows. Does anyone have any input on if thats a logical approach? Side note does the bug with the 2 spells still work at this time?
I’d like to see some take on clawbringer cause I feel Like it does have crazy potential dealing up to 20% multiplicative fire damage on gun shot on one of the first nodes sounded crazy to me
Clawbringer is probably the worst class in the game from what ive heard lol
For there to be a best there must first be a worst. Unfortunate but true. Maybe there's a item out there but I haven't seen it.

Where does the survivability come from? How do you regen without shield?
how do you get health regen on this? not sure if its something ive missed but i dont seem to have any.
My damage all seems to be the type of the buffmeister i have equipped at the time, i cant get any other types to appear, even when using a shock barrelmaker
Great job! Good explanation of how all the gear works and why. Question: I have a clawbringer but also have all the gear you need for this built. Do I lose it all (gear etc)if I start a new game. Im having a hard time clearing higher Chaos chambers with clawbringer
if you haven't found your answer, if you put your gear you want in your STORAGE in the pub area, you can go to your other character and grab it

@@babyyyz7948 You have to get to the point where you can unlock your gear slots and multiclass ability. Once you get your multiclass ability around two hours into the game, you can do most of this build. You can easily grind to 40 on the Zomboss fight repeatedly at this point. The only thing you won't have unlocked is the 2nd ring slot. You have to beat the whole game to get that to open up.
question the enchantments on the other guns only apply if you have that gun out and not stowed correct?

If you want a smidge of survivability, you can use a dark magic spell and your bullets will heal on hit
Can you do berzerker ,I'm really struggling against son of a witch on chaos 6.or just do I video on that specific boss he seems ridiculously hard compared to anything else .
This build paired with Last Gasp Of Craving & Aeturnus of the stone prison unlimited ammo & no reloading
Wow the bugged interaction seems busted but without it the build still seems really fun, I hope they don’t nerf any other part of this build. This makes me want to roll spellshot next.
I think you should, I've been having a lot of fun as SpellShot. Even decided to do Stabbo with it, then saw this video a bit back and changed to it. I love it, even without the bug, its really good. If you also manage to get dark magic and health regen, this becomes absolutely busted entirely. The only time I've ever found myself going down have been during Chaos Chamber runs, elite with a bunch of hard buffs from Dragon Lord. I have to be absolutely swarmed, but even then, you take them down faster and just get right back up in a second or two. It's an insane build and one of my favorites. Recommend, even if not gonna run this exact type in the video.

Great guide mate :) I just don't understand the Glass Canon part. + damage is fine but I die a lot without the shield.. :S How is it working? is there any way to recharge the ward? or the bonus damage works only if there is no shield up?
Don't focus on the ward at all with this build, you don't really want it. If you keep going down, try to get health rolls if you're End Game or near it. Health Regen and Dark Magic are amazing with this build. My ward has an effect that regens if below 50% health and an Armor/Mod, that always regens, stack that with Dark Magic on weapons and spells, it will replace ward entirely with this build. Without the Ward it pretty much doubles all damage with the Cursed Wit, then you get Glass Cannon that you never regen wards and % increase to damage onto of that.

I was lucky enough to get a double spell charge frost buff meister, its called inspiring buff meister, I got it from a vending machine. :)

I did this while levelling and I don't understand how I'm supposed to compensate for the lack of ward regen. It seems like actually getting Glass Cannon during the levelling process is bad because soloing some bosses becomes nearly impossible if you can't get your shield back.
I may overheared it but I just wanted to ask, what about survivability? Since the ward is down all the time isnt it most worth it playing with dark magic Buffmeister or weapons?
The skeep amulet is probably the only source of that on this build. It gives you a target to kill to revive and has a cooldown of 30s I think. Otherwise most things probably just die as soon as you hit them and maybe the dark healing from the buffmeister helps.
Well I now got a class mod that heals passivly 3.5% hp/sec and converts 30% of all my damage into dark magic plus 40% more effectivnes, that is enough to survive c20 as long as you dont get 1-shottet.
@@kaidenkenway8230 you move so fast with all the spear buffs and the elusive talent on spear is probably the best, they can’t hit you as easily.

Village idiot is the best out of all of them, 10 percent critical damage is nuts, for stats go all in on crit damage and chance then put rest into elemental damage

Hi nick my first borderlands game was 3 can u go over Hero Stats please
My biggest issue is I cant get a smart armor for my class much less one with another add for spellweaving. So far I can run chaos 25 but I do die a lot. I also dont think the bug works anymore or I dont have a high enough damage calamity which I cant believe a simple chaos level one you have is over 4k. Highest I got is 2.5 at chaos rank and you got two spell shots. Insane level luck.

did they remove it from the bunny drops in chaos trials? I've been at this for 2 1/2 hours and have gotten multiple copies of many other spells but no buffmeister

Does it matter if you choose stabbomancer first then select spellshot as your second class?
No, as long as you have both classes in multi-class, you can respec and use it the same way as if you mained spellshot.
I would actually argue that maining stabbo is one of the best choices in game, as a lot of high end builds that utilise run and gun/crit builds require stabbo as a multiclass. So, by maining stabbo, you can change to any other multiclass on the fly, without having to make a lot of characters to do so.
Does it make a differrence if you use Stabbomancer main and Spellshot 2nd?
